My daughter was singing Jingle Bells the other day and I've caught myself singing them to myself. Me and my daughter will start listening to them after her birthday next month. For the rest of the family it is usually end of October/first of November.

I won't truly know what we will be able to spend until a little closer to BF. My husband is self employed and as long as he has work, we will be able to spend a little bit more this year than last year. He has had a little more work lately so I am hoping this is a good sign. I usually put my limit to around 1000.00 for the 3 kids. This year I am hoping to be able to get such great deals that I will be able to do 1000.00 for kids and family. We shall see.... I know I am hoping that walmart has their secret saturday sale again. One of my boys needs a new TV in his room. they used to share a room but now they have their own. So one of them has a nice 32" and the other only a 19" right now. So I am hoping to get at least a 26" to a 32". He also needs a video game system. That will be his big gift. I am also hoping to get both of them a new bed w/new mattresses. But that may have to wait until tax season. They mostly want clothes anyway. They are 13. I am not sure yet what we are getting my other son. My daughter is 4, will be 5 by Christmas. I am planning on getting her a trampoline and a Nintendo DS (if the price is right). Those will be her 2 big gifts. If I were you I would definitely watch out for the pre-BF sales. Sometimes the deals then are better. Have you considered getting your daughter a laptop instead of a netbook? I believe that most of the time a laptop has better deals than the netbooks when you consider what you get. I am not an expert but as far as price I do think that I'd rather have a laptop.

Yeah, I am hoping that they are around the 50-60 range. I want to get my 4 year old one (will be 5 by christmas) but don't want to give more than 60.00.

I have taken my twin boys when they were younger. They are now 13 and I am planning on letting them go and help me this year. I took them when they were 5 one year and it was very hard. My daughter will be 5 by BF and I am planning on leaving her with someone. If I take her I will never get anything..lol. She notices way too much. If there is a way that you could at least find someone to keep at least the two youngest ones that would help tremendously. If not, I agree with the other posts. I would do as much shopping online as possible and then head out a little later in the day. We live in a small town so there is no danger where we are, but I do realize how dangerous it can be in other areas. So, I would try to avoid the morning rush if possible. If you have to take all of them then I would take a bag with snacks, drinks, crayons, paper, books, and maybe a few of their favorite toys. I know how hungry and thirsty I get while waiting. I already had 20.00 in amazon gift cards. I spent about 15.00 on my daughter's bday though. I am hoping to have at least another 20.00 before thanksgiving. I have 15.00 in target gift cards. I save my change and will cash it in a couple of weeks before BF. I am expecting to get money back from school so I will use it for Christmas also.

They actually hold your items until you get it off as long as it is before the deadline. I think they will do a price adjustment but not sure.

I saw that earlier in my email. I was so excited! I am sad that it is not good on BF though. I will probably definitely take advantage, especially if you can put some of the secret Saturday sales they have (if they have them this year). I think some of those deals were as good if not better than last year.

I have done a little bit of my Christmas shopping already. Family dollar had the Littlest pet shop for 5.00. It had two pets and a ton of accessories. These normally sell at Walmart for 10 or more, so I went ahead and picked up a few for my daughter. I have bought my niece a couple of things also. My daughter's bday is in October so I don't usually start getting serious about christmas shopping until after her bday. I do about 85-90% of my shopping BF and BF presales. I love the Walmart secret saturday sales and hope they continue that. I believe that the deals on their TV's then were as good if not better than BF.

I am thinking that the Nintendo DS Lites will be on sale for around 60.00-70.00 since the price of the the newer have dropped. I think that the Wii will be around 99.00 or it will be the price it is now and come with at least a 50.00 gift card. The PS3 will probably stay the same price but come with a 100.00 gift card. I can hope can't I..lol.

I am hoping to get a good deal on a trampoline for my daughter. She will be 5 by Christmas. I would like to get my daughter a Nintendo DS Lite. I am hoping it will be on sale for around 50 or 60.00. I am looking for a good deal on a kitchen for my daughter also. I am thinking about going ahead and buying that though. They have it on Walmart.com for 125.00 with the chocolate chip cookie set. It is made by KidKraft and got great reviews. I plan on getting her plenty of accessories to go with it. I already have some of her Christmas bought. I bought alot of the Littlest Pet shop stuff on clearance. The boys used to share a room and they got a 32" TV for their Birthday. Now they have their own room so I need another 32" TV for the other bedroom. I also need a game system for the other bedroom. Last year they said they didn't want a PS3 or XBox, but we will see. I am hoping to be able to give my DH a giftcard to Guitar Center. I will probably give it to him Thanksgiving so he can get a good deal BF. He wants a new guitar.

I don't think they would since the coupon is from Leapfrog. I think the only time you wouldn't be able to use it is if you had another coupon. I plan on doing the same thing if I don't get to TRU. They are having a sale today and tomorrow and their sale price is 12.99 (I think). Not sure what titles are included though. It is up on their website if you want to look.

I told my husband about it and he just laughed..lol. Men..: I told him that I loved it and I bet our daughter will too. My boys are 12 so I know they will make fun of it..lol.

Our first stop is always Walmart since that is the only store we have in our town. The closest Target is 45 minutes from us. Our Walmart won't price match Target either So I just hope I can get the Tag for that price. If not I may go to another Walmart and price match it there :)

Thanks everyone! I will definitely be buying some stuff this weekend. Boys have already been looking online w/me and have told me what they like. Unfortunately they are going to have to go try on the clothes so they are gonna know what they are getting, and probably beg to wear it before Christmas :) I am not sure if they can even wear the jeans yet, they wear a size 16 or size 18 in boys' so not sure if they can wear their sizes. We will see. If I buy the hoodies this weekend and then they are cheaper BF then I will definitely take it back and get them at the new lower price.

I've really never shopped at Aeropostale before bc they have just started saying that they want aeropostale stuff..lol. How well do their clothes hold up?

Target has them BF for 24.99. They are 29.99 right now w/coupon I think.

Me too!!! That is exactly my plan. Although I was thinking about going Monday instead, but I'm afraid that they will be gone! I am also going to get a Leapster game and use a 5.00 coupon that I have so it would end up being like 7.49 since I am getting the Leapster BF from Walmart.

I am almost in a panic..lol. I can't decide on what I want to get and what I am going to have to wait on and pay regular price for since I have a budget..lol. My best friend and I always go together and we've not really discussed our plan yet, we are really late doing that. She is in nursing school so she has no time right now. Thankfully we are out next week and we will get together one day and figure it all out;)
