  1. I don't think I've ever seen a thread about how the stores were on bf. I know they're crowded, obviously, but it seems some stores are managed better and easier to navigate then Walmart. I went to Walmart and Toys R Us last night and as usual Walmart stunk where I live. No organization. Not ONE person who worked there knew where the items were I wanted(they were kid items not electronics). The lines to check out were ridiculous. People were line cutting. No one was supervising. It was a mad house. I went to toys r us. Asked for help with the item I wanted. THey were WONDERFUL and I checked out within 2 mins literally. No line at all. our toys r us is always organized. Thankfully. What was everyone else's experiences this year?
  2. Well Amazon blows. According to them I have numerous accounts with my same name and address, which I do not, never have, and therefore they've now closed my account. No other explanation. I've called customer service so many times. They cannot even access my accont to tell me anything, only email their account specialists, who only email me automatically generated emails. I will NEVER shop amazon again. I'm taking all of my christmas shopping and other shopping elsewhere. This has me unnerved now.
  3. I used to love shopping amazon.com until today. I had a huge cart filled with stuff for my kids Christmas and went to check out and found out my account was frozen for a dispute I'd never placed. Never found out what it was about but I did email them and they did take off the hold and also erased all my cc info and my prime membership so I just needed to verify my email and change my pw, which I did and placed a new order. Everything seemed fine and then an hr later lo and behold my damn acct is frozen again. Of course amazons lovely customer service can't help me. I have to email them the cc address and billing info, which I've already done. They claim they've escalated this but view heard nothing back and I can't get into my account and order anything. I received 9 emails asking for the address and phone number that matches the cc statements. They said something doesn't match which is bs. It does match. I used the cc with them just last week with no issues. Has anyone else ever had this issue with amazon? My problem is they have really rare things I can unfortunately only buy from them and I don't do eBay.
  4. you know there was a thread on this over on the dis boards about people opening stuff, using it and returning it. Wow! What some people will do! It amazes me. I understand the product doesn't work but don't use it, abuse it, and then return it. Now this was sealed so I believe it came defective from Nintendo. Hopefully we'll have it back soon? We're going to disney in a few weeks(end of march) so I NEED it back before then lol. But someone said they needed bday candes and saw a pkg where they opened the candles, used them and the store took them back and resold them! I was disgusted. You could even see the frosting on the candles. She posted pics.
  5. I have my receipt and the box. It was outside of the return period by a few days. I said that in my original post. I did use up my returns at Walmart and tru but target wont take back a $99 item. Only up to $70 I sent it back to Nintendo and I am waiting for it to be returned.
  6. I'm so irked they discontinued the ds lite so none are coming back in stock she said shed let me get the next model up but that's $50 more I don't want that what do I do now
  7. i paid with cash and it's only up to $70. This was $99. i asked about that. Tru won't work either. I just maxed out my returns with DL yesterday since I returned stuff 1 day after their receipt expired using my dl. $100 is their max:(

  9. Thanks. Nintendo says it'll take 4-6 weeks to fix. My ds wants it now. Unfortunately I've used All my returns up at Walmart. Target is just terrible. They only allow up to $70 per yr this was $99 they refuse to budge they have the worst service
  10. Purchased a ds lite for my ds for Xmas. He literally just opened it and the damn thing does not work. I called target and because I am 7 days outside my return allowance they refuse to make an exception. They just stick behind their return policy and don't give a damn about customer satisfaction. I don't want my money back or even a different one. I want the same item
  11. I took it back but they had none left:( So they gave me my money back but dd is very upset:(
  12. Oh I plan to. It didn't appear opened before so I don't understand how or why the game itself is missing.
  13. I bought dd a lalaloopsy dis game a few weeks ago from toys r us. It was the game with a free mini lalaloopsy doll. Well dd opened it up tonight and there was the doll, instructions but no game. I have my receipt but can I exchange it for a new game with the game? She was so upset and really wants this. I don't want them to say I took the game out or blame me. We just want the same game. Thanks.
  14. Wow! How rude! Omg. I guess tis the season for some companies but they are at fault, not your mom. I hate companies that do this. This is why I do not mail order, or at least very rarely. Reading the threads about wrong items sent or never received scares me.
