I just looked at Walmart on Facebook. Someone had asked about layaway BF. They confirmed that it will be open BF at 8:00 with exclusions. Here are their comments. Layaway is now available on Fri, Nov 25 starting at 8am in most states and can be used for items that are part of the 8am special savings event. The limited time or “while supplies last” 10 p.m. and midnight event items will not be eligible for layaway prior to 8 a.m. See details at http://bit.ly/otp6A6. So, if you are wanting something before 8 it may not happen. I wonder if you could buy it and then take it back and rebuy it to put on layaway?? lol..

This would be great. I am going in to talk to my layaway department again. Maybe they know something more now. I still am very doubtful that we can put some stuff in the ad on layaway, such as the Xbox 360 and PS3, since you are not usually allowed to walk around the store with them.

I do both. This year I am going to put the ads and the lists in a binder so I can find what I need quickly.

I put all my stuff in my back pocket. I usually carry cash, debit card, and gift cards. If I am in Walmart, I leave my other gift cards in the trunk of the car in a certain hiding spot with the car locked! I carry everything in my back pocket though, so this is not any different from how I normally do things..lol.

I need a camera. Mine was stolen over the summer and have not had one since. I do not have a lot of money to spend on one. I saw that Kmart and Walmart has one for 49.00. The one at Walmart is a Kodak 1450. The one at Kmart is Fujifilm AV200. I need to know which one is the better camera. I do realize that the Kodak camera is 5X zoom and the Fujifilm is 3X. I would probably use this camera for a year or less because I am hoping to get a good DSL camera soon. But right now this is all I can afford. Thanks.

we also live in a small town with Walmart being our only major retail store. Target and Kmart is about 45 minutes from us and our Walmart does price match their ads. Last BF the manager actually came up to me and told me that they would price match Target and KMart because he saw the ad in my hand..lol. They are desperate for business because so many go out of town to do their shopping. So i would definitely ask. The worst thing they can do is say no..

I am gonna have to go in for the Schick razors!!! I bought some using coupons and got them really cheap about 6 months ago and now that is my husband's favorite razor. He only has 2 refills left so this came at a perfect time. I think I will pick up 4 or 6 of these. Looks like I will be there as soon as they open Thursday.

I only saw one or two things. The cars 2 Tag leapfrog for 5.49 is good. I willl probably price match it at Walmart though since the nearest Target is 45 minutes away.

This is also how our store did it. The only thing that we were allowed to go ahead and pick up were items that said weekend sale or something like that. We were able to go ahead and get DVDs and I think games.

They didn't have one last Saturday, so maybe they will have one this week.

How does the AMD C-50 processor compare to the Intel B800. Someone I know has a laptop with the INtel B800 processor. I've never owned a computer with AMD processor so I was wondering how it compares. We won't use it for major games or anything like that.

It is very possible that it hasn't even gotten to our store yet...lol. Our store always seems to be the last to know since it is such a small store. How would they work out things like the Xbox and PS3. Those go on sale at 10 pm and you usually are not allowed to walk around in the store with those. I am just curious how that would work.

My friend got an item a few years ago that had a gc with it. She was able to use the gc for her next purchase.

I think it is going to depend on the store. I asked in my store today and they told me that BF items would not be eligible. I really wish they would allow us to put it on layaway bc it would save me atrip to Kmart (an hour away)..

But not all people have credit cards or want them... I talked with someone that works in photo lab today about the layaway. She said she wasn't sure but went and asked someone that works layaway. They said that it will open at 8 or 9 at our store and that stuff in the BF ad will not be eligible. So that kind of makes me not care if their layaway is open or not..lol. It looks like I will still take some of my business to Kmart.

Credit Cards is worse than using layaway. At least if you can't afford what you put on layaway all you lose it 10.00 and the 5.00 fee. When you put it something on a credit card you have to pay interest if you don't get it paid for in the specified amount of time. If you can't afford the payments then you have to pay interest charges plus late fees and it goes on your credit report. I think I'll stick with layaway. I really hope that this is true for BF items also. If so, then I can definitely hang out until 8 so I can put the Xbox 360 on layaway and the PS3 on layaway.

Are they going to be open all day and night? Isn't the XBox 360 w/kinect on sale at 10 PM? So I doubt that there would be any left by the time layaway opened

We have always bought the portable DVD players on BF for our kids. We bought two when my boys were 7, they are now 13. One of them still works and the other worked until it got stepped on..lol. My daughter got one last year. She was 4. She watches it nearly every night to go to sleep with. It is still working great! It is Philips Brand.

thanks. What time do you get there? I can skip Target if I need to and go straight to Kmart after I leave Walmart. Then I could be there around 1:30 AM.
