Can anyone tell me how the lines usually are at Kmart? I know I need to go to Walmart first for at least the 10 pm sale. There are a few smaller things that I would love to pick up at Target. I would get to Target probably around 1:00 AM. I would leave Target around 2:00 AM and head for Kmart. It would take me about 15-20 minutes to get to Kmart from Target. Would that be too late. I am wanting to pick up the PS3 (put on layaway) and a few other things. This is the first year that I am planning to go to Kmart at opening. I've always gone a little later. Thanks.

Thanks everyone for your comments. I think I will go ahead and get the laptop for 199 at Walmart. I believe that it will be fine for what they will be using it for.

YES!!! They have the PS3 for the same price as Walmart. I am going to put that on layaway. I am so glad that they don't open until 5:00 AM. This will help me out. This is the first time I've been to Kmart at opening. What is your experience? Are they as crowded as Walmart/Target?

I pricematch at Walmart all the time without the ad. We don't have any competition for Walmart in our small town so they price match for stores that are 45 minutes from us. I am not able to get the ad from several of the stores without going online to print them. I am too cheap for that (waste all my ink)..lol. I've only had trouble if it is someone new. If you can print the ad it is better, especially on BF but you don't have to have it.

OOOH!!! I hope I get one! I have not looked at the ad yet, but I really hope there is some stuff that I have been looking at on sale so I can put it on layaway and save some of my BF cash.

I will get a paper Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday.. sunday will have the Target's 4 day ad in it. I got a good bit of deals in it last year. Then Wednesday will have Kmart's Thanksgiving ad (I will check here first though to see if it is worth getting a paper). Then Thursday should have the rest.

Thanks. I have also bought laptops for 199 in years past, but it has always been the Intel processor. I've never had a computer/laptop with AMD so I was just a little concerned. We went to another Walmart last night and they had a laptop for 248.00. I really think that this was the laptop that is going to be on sale BF for 199. I believe it had the same specs.

I agree with HansieDZ..allrecipes.com is great and to ask everyone to bring a side dish. I usually do turkey breast and put it in the crockpot. I just rub a little garlic powder, salt and pepper on the outside. Then just add water and butter. I usually put mine on Christmas morning for dinner that night. Dressing is really easy also, and you can mix it up the day before so all you have to do that day is put it in the oven for about an hour. Deviled eggs, slaw, and mac-n-cheese are very easy side dishes. I have Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner here every year so i have plenty of ideas if you want them.

I was considering getting this for my teenage boys. I know that it is fine for browsing the web and schoolwork. Do you think I will have any trouble with YouTube playing? My boys like youtube and my husband may use it occassionaly also.

Black Friday is what buys my kids Christmas every year. We live paycheck to paycheck and if it were not for BF my kids would not have as good a Christmas. We do not have credit cards and do not owe anything except utilities, insurance, car, and rent. Things have just been hard since my husband is self employed in construction. Sometimes BF helps people like us more than others. If I were your friend I would take her paycheck this week or next week to use for BF and use the other check for bills.

My 5 year old daughter got one for Christmas last year. She loves hers. We took it on vacation with us. She sleeps on it every night. I would love to have one too. They are so comfortable..lol. Very soft. I would not order it online though. AS others have said they are available everywhere and you would save on shipping charges.

Walmart also had the PS3 for 199.

I will be there at around 7 or 8. We live in a small town so that should be fine. The main thing I want is the trampoline. I also want the XBox and PS3 but I am hoping that maybe Kmart or Walmart has it onsale for around the same price before BF so I can put it on layaway and free up some BF cash. I also want a few of the games and DVDs. I am taking my boys and hubby this year to wait in line for stuff while I go grab what I need. I will go relieve them every so often so they can get a drink and go to the bathroom..lol Most of the stuff I need is at the 10 PM sale.

10 PM sale: These are hopefuls and not set in stone! I really doubt that I will be able to get all of it but I am praying that DH has plenty of work the next two weeks!!! I know! I really hope that they come through today. I was really hoping to get a good deal on a DS or PS3 before BF.

I will go to Walmart just as soon as we finish cleaning up our Thanksgiving Dinner, probably around 6:00-7:00. Ours is a very small Walmart so we should be fine eing there just 3 hours early.

Do you think that it is worth the price? It is for teen boys that are only going to be browsing the internet, talking on facebook, and maybe some school work. No gaming or anything like that will be done.

I agree!! I showed it to my boys this morning and they both said that is ugly and made a face..lol.
