That is what I am waiting on as well. I have a feeling they will not release theirs until Wednesday (the 15th) which is when their current ad ends. I do wish they would hurry up though.

Can anyone tell me when Belk usually starts their online sale. I am thinking it is overnight Tuesday (midnight on Wednesday). But, I can't remember for sure. A friend is wanting the 200.00 Kitchenaid Mixer (online only).

That is a good deal for the itunes cards. I will probably run in and grab a couple of those as well.

I wasn't even considering a Nintendo Switch. I just didn't know if it was worth it or not. But, after reading some of these comments you've made me want one. We have a Wii and will be getting an Xbox (probably 360). Like all of you said, Nintendo is great at putting out games our family can play together, which is something we really need to do more often. We used to spend lots of time playing. I think a new system might be just the thing to go back to that. Not sure if I can get it for Christmas this year or not (there aren't really any great deals anyway) but maybe sometime next year.

The only one I am really waiting on is Gamestop.

You may want to check out Straight Talk or Total Wireless. In our area they pull off Verizon towers but the plans are much less. We use Total Wireless. We pay 114.00 for 4 lines, which includes unlimited talk and text and 25 GB data. For a single line you can choose the 25.00 plan which includes no data, or the 35.00 plan which includes 8 GB data (I think).

Not really looking to spend that much. I will probably just go with the 360. My son is not a big gamer he said he wanted either a 360 or One. I was going to go ahead and get him the One if I would have been able to find a great deal on it. We are only budgeting 150-200 for each kid.

I saw the Fred's BF ad but didn't see a time. Anyone know what time they are opening?

I wish I lived close enough to a CVS to be able to go Thanksgiving morning. But, I am going to sit down and figure out a way I can do it in the least amount of transactions. I also need to recheck their times so I can see about going when they are not too busy. The main things I would like is some of the make up sets and lipstick (for my daughter's stocking) so hopefully those won't sell out too quickly.

I was really hoping for a better deal on the Xbox One S (at least with a gift card). Kohls has the best deal so hoping that will be available online. I saw a few things for me and I saw several things for my son for Christmas and for his fiance since they are getting married in March and need lots of home items. Otherwise, quite disappointed in this ad.

Thank you! I saw quite a few things.

Thank you! The paper and batteries is what I was mainly looking at.

Is there a waiting period for using the rewards you earn? Would I be able to use them during Black Friday?

I have twin 19 year old sons and an 11 year old daughter. Each year all of them gets a pack of sour gummy worms. That is a tradition that I've been doing since the boys were 5 or 6. They usually get socks and underwear, their favorite candy, and usually a gift card to either McDonald's or Burger King, gum, and maybe a favorite bag of chips or something. My daughter has pretty much outgrown the toy stage (other than playing with Barbies). So, I will probably get her one of the small sets of clothing for her Barbie. We don't allow her to wear makeup out very often, but she loves to practice putting it on at home. She got a nice eye shadow pallet for her birthday last month, so I am thinking of getting her a nice blush set to go with it (if I don't decide to wrap this). Then, I will probably do some lip gloss and nail polish (she has always loved her nail polish..lol), some lotion, and probably a gift card or two to a fast food restaurant.

They have a few things that I would like to pick up. Can someone tell me how their rewards program work? Are the rewards credited immediately or is there a waiting period? If I have to wait 6-8 weeks for my rewards then it probably isn't worth it, but if I can use them within the next few days then it would be. Thanks.

I was going to say Walmart as well. It is the only "big" store in our town so we always hit it up first, then drive an hour away for everything else. We live in a small town so sometimes it is like a big reunion..lol. High school classmates who moved out of town are there sometimes and I always run into many, many people I know. Like you, it makes standing in line go by much faster when we can all sit around and talk. Yes, it is crowded, but I feel 100% safe there. I also am able to get most, if not, everything I went in for. The only thing I hate is the way they lay the store out that day. They push isles together to basically make a few "passages". This makes it much harder to get around and I can't help but think it is a Fire Hazard as well. But, overall it is fun.

We live in a small town so we usually hit Walmart here, and then go out of town for everywhere else (about an hour away). It is usually my husband and one of my sons at Walmart. They usually stand in line for me while I grab other stuff. Years ago my friend and I always went, but that ended 8 years ago. So, for the last 8 years, I've gone with different people. My husband hates BF..lol. He can't stand the crowds but he doesn't want me out by myself at night (since we have to travel an hour away) so if no one else can go, he will go. That has happened once or twice over the last 8 years, I can usually find someone who is going. But, honestly, it is boring when he goes...lol. He just can't handle being up all night.. This year, it will be a friend from church, my 11 year old daughter, and I. This friend and I went together a few years ago and had lots of fun. Can't wait. I am excited about my daughter going this year as well. This is the first year I am allowing her to go for the entire time. Looking forward to making it a new tradition.

Where are you going first this year on Black Friday/Thanksgiving?

It is always Walmart first. Then, it just depends on the ads and what is needed. -
Wow! Walmart is really holding out! Come on Walmart!!! Hopefully tonight.

My 11 year old daughter said that "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas" is perfect for BF. Just replace the words "a Hippopotamus" with the words "the best Doorbuster". -
That 500.00 is for our three kids, my son's fiance, my other son's girlfriend, my sister and BIL, my niece, my dad (mom passed away in August of this year), my MIL & FIL, my husband's brother and his wife, and our nephew. Normally I do a lot of my shopping throughout the entire year, but due to circumstances was unable to do that this year. So that means that 500.00 has to buy for everyone this time.
-
Exactly. There was a GanderMountain that opened here 3 of 4 years ago and it closed its doors early this year. They were just way too expensive. Our boys did get a pair of boots fairly cheap there and we got them some fishing lures once. Other than that, they just were not competitive enough to make it.

Bridewars (the struggle between BF shoppers and those just coming out to see what is going on) -
We usually do buy for everyone in our family, but we all spend more on the kids. Now our boys are 19 (one is getting married in March) so we spend a little less on them, but we still get them something. We buy for our 11 year old daughter and our 10 year old niece. Then for the adults we usually do a small 5.00-10.00 gift for them. It is usually something practical or something that will be treasured (such as pictures of the kids together or something handmade or cooked).

I hate mail in rebates. I had rather pay a little more somewhere else than have to deal with a mail in rebate!
