I am a little disappointed that there are not any better switch deals. I may end up waiting until after the first of the year to get a switch. It is going to be a family thing anyway, so I was only going to get it now if there were some good deals. I may go ahead and pick up a few games and accessories while they are on sale though.

So, today I slipped in my dad's floor. I had my laptop, my daughter's laptop (both laptops were in a mesh book bag, not in a sleeve or anything), our drinks, and some of our food. Well, let's just say it didn't end well..I am okay, just a little sore, hopefully I won't be bad tomorrow. My daughter's laptop is okay, but my laptop got most of the drink spilled on it. My daughter wiped it off but she said there was liquid coming out of it, so she slightly shook it. When she opened it, it said that the cooling fan was not working properly and it cut off. It is an older laptop and has to stay plugged in all the time, so I plugged it up and tried turning it on. Well it wouldn't come on. I just left it alone hoping that it will work a little later. But, it looks like I am now in need of a new laptop. I dont need anything special. Just something that will run Facebook, Facebook games, will let me check email, and download microsoft word and use it. Nothing fancy. A DVD player would be nice, but not completely necessary. So, I'm looking at the one at Walmart for 249.00. Does anyone know the specs on it?

Does anyone own a Hisense TV? Our son needs one in his room and I saw the 40" Hisense for 99.00. We are not real picky about our TVs so as long as it has decent sound and it has a decent viewing quality, then it's fine. I also want one that will last at least 3-5 years. He doesn't really need a smart TV because he already has a Roku.

There are not as many things in the ads that I need this year as in years past. The Walmart ad really surprised me. I could actually skip Walmart and not miss much. There are a few things I saw that I may pick up, such as the vanity (depending on the quality of it), rubbermaid bowls, and a few other kitchen stuff. My daughter wants the iPhone 6 (she has been saving for several months for BF). I will say I am glad that I took advantage of the Target sale with coupons to get her a hoverboard. Although Walmart has one for 99.00 it is not the all terrain and it doesn't seem to have as many features as the one I got her. I paid 158.00 for it including tax.

I would love for my husband to have my engagement ring sized up a bit and I would love for us to get new wedding bands. We will be celebrating our 22nd anniversary one month from today. I've not been able to wear them for at least 5 years. I miss wearing them.

Art supplies, Craft supplies, Gift cards to restaurants (my kids always loved these), Movie theater gift card, Tickets to an experience (a zoo, aquarium, etc), Movies, or Games. If you don't mind her having play makeup, that is always a hit here, along with nail polish, lotion, hand soaps, or hand sanitizer. These are some of the things that my daughter wanted beginning around the age of 9/10 and she still loves to get them as gifts.

I really wouldn't be surprised if it comes out sometime tonight.

We have a tradition where we open at least one gift on Christmas Eve and then open the rest Christmas morning. This year will be a little different though, so not sure what we will do. I have one son who is married and I have to work Christmas Eve and Christmas day from 7 am-7 pm. I am not sure if the two still at home will want to get up early Christmas morning and open presents or wait until I get off to open gifts. I don't really want to open everything Christmas Eve because it just wouldn't be the same..

I see the one for 100.00 (save 49.99), but I actually bought her one earlier this week. I bought her the updated version to this one. It was on sale for 199.00 and I had a coupon for 25% off. I ended up paying 158.00 including tax. I ordered it early Tuesday morning and it came in Wednesday. It has a few extra features that I know she will love. I think she is going to buy a Nintendo Switch with her money, so the hoverboard will be from us. She is going to be so surprised.

Late Monday night, I ordered the Jetson hoverboard they had for $199. After the 25% off coupon it came to a total of $158 and some change (with taxes). Since this is an all-terrain and has so many features, I really think that was a good price and it won't be beat BF (at least by not enough to take a chance). This is our daughter's big gift, so like you, I am so glad to have that off my list!
