I think this set would be nice since it comes with glitter pens and neon pens and it comes in a case. -
I just got three gifts for a little under 10.00. I had never signed up for the Target red card. So, a few weeks ago they were running a special that if you sign up for a red card, you receive a 40.00 off coupon. I was able to pair that coupon with the sales! My future daughter-n-law has 3 sisters and a brother. I got a doll for one of her sisters, Sequence board game for two of them (we will get a little something else for them as well), and the Toy STory car for my nephew!

I am planning on getting my daughter in law and my future daughter in law an instant pot for Christmas. They both love Pioneer Woman so I will try to snag two of them during this sale.
-
I got my 8 quart instant pot! YAY!! I want the IP blender, but the price hasn't changed online. So, this may end up being an instore only purchase. Never mind. After going back and looking, I realized it is a doorbuster.
-
Thank you. I will definitely try to grab them early Monday. Does it usually start at midnight or is it a little later than that?
-
I've never ordered anything from Kohls online BF. I am thinking about getting the Instant Pot Duo Nova (not a doorbuster). Are they bad about cancelling your order? There is no way I can get there for opening because I always go to Walmart in our town first and then head to other stores.

I am wanting to get a vacuum sealer. I want one with wet/dry option, seal only option, and, of course, vacuum and seal option. I would also like one with the tube for the option of canisters. I am looking at this one: https://www.amazon.com/GERYON-Machine-Automatic-Starter-Indicator/dp/B07B4X61Z4/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=geryon%2Bvacuum%2Bsealer&qid=1574278052&sr=8-3&th=1 I would like some input from some of you who own a vacuum sealer, and maybe even if someone owns this brand.

As of right now, my stove/oven is my favorite thing. I do have an air fryer, but rarely use it. I think it is just because I don't have a good storage place for it so I hate pulling it in and out (no room to leave out on counters). I also love my crockpot and use it at least once a week. this will probably change after Thanksgiving because I am buying myself an Instant Pot and an Instant Pot blender. My husband also told me to go ahead and buy myself a roaster today (I didn't see any on sale BF) since I am having to do most of the Thanksgiving cooking this year. So, we will see what my favorite is after I get all of these new appliances. I should add that I do love my chest freezer too. It allows me to stock up when things go on sale. I am also going to talk with my husband about putting in storage shelves where our old air/heating unit is (we no longer use the central heat/air). That would give me a place to put all of my appliances.

Have you chosen your first stop yet or are you waiting for all the ads?

I plan on doing some shopping online. From Walmart, I am hoping to snag the Instant Pot, IP blender, Pioneer Woman's crockpot, and a few other things. However, I am always scared of ordering from Walmart online, especially things that I desperately want..lol. Walmart will be my first stop. We always go to our local Walmart first and then head to a bigger town to do the rest. -
Thank you. I honestly am not sure we will really use the soup feature since we are not huge soup fans (but who knows). I don't own an Instant Pot (hoping to pick one up BF as well) but have heard nothing but good things about the brand. I was mainly looking for something to make smoothies (but I see this one also has the frozen feature which will be nice). I think I am going to go ahead and get it. The motor seems to be top knotch as well. I have watched several YouTube videos and they all said the same thing about the bottom easily scorching and not being removable. There is a newer version out as well, but it is around 120.00. It allows you to customize cooking temperatures and times. That is a huge price difference though. Someone on one of the YouTube videos said they will just restart the cycle and then cancel/pause it when they are ready for it to stop.
-
Does anyone own one of these? I had never heard of these until the other day but after watching a few YouTube videos, I am considering getting one. I am planning on getting a blender anyway and most of the decent ones are at the 50.00 mark. These are in the Walmart BF ad for 49.00. If you own one please let me know what you think.

Do the airpods fit like the regular earbuds that come with the iphones? She wears those all the time so she thinks the airpods will fit the same.
-
Are the airpods really worth it? My 13 year old daughter is wanting them, but I am having a hard time paying that much for headphones..lol. She says she likes the apple brand earbuds because they fit her ear much better than other ones. I hate not to get her something she wants, but 129.00 is still a lot of money for them.

I know! Walmart is the main one I need. There are several things I am wanting (Instant Pot, Food Saver, Nintendo Switch, Slow cooker, and a few other kitchen items). I am wanting to know the price they have BF on some of these items, so if a good deal come along before then I can go ahead and get it..lol.
-
I went to walmart's website and typed in Black Friday. Yesterday morning it was just pulling up random items. Now it says Black Friday is coming but you can shop hot new deals now.... Hopefully that means they are going to release their ad soon.

My son is married and she works at Hobby Lobby. Her family has Thanksgiving meal at lunchtime. I work at a 911 center. I am off Thanksgiving Day, but I work the weekend before and after, and the Tuesday before (3p-11p). My BIL (husband's brother) is a deputy and has to work Wed and Thurs. My sister works every day except Tuesday (thankfully she works from 7a-3p). My mother in law is not going to be able to cook at all this year because she is having medical issues). Normally we do two separate Thanksgiving meals, one for my family and one for my husband's family. But with the crazy schedule we all have we decided it would be easier to do it all together. Everyone was okay with that. So, we are going to do our Thanksgiving meal the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. I am going to have to cook a few things ahead of time and put in freezer since I have a crazy work schedule that week, but it is when most of the family could be there. My brother in law said that as long as they aren't busy he will try to stop in to eat. I told my husband I really think doing it on Wednesday is better anyway because it gives me some time to sleep Thanksgiving Day..

When my sons were younger we would put hot wheels, playdough, another small toy or two, and some of their favorite candy. When they got older I would put gift cards in them. For my daughter, when she was really young I put in a few pieces of candy and a few small toys (one year I put a small Barney in it). When she got a little older, I put cheap makeup in it. She used it for dress up.. I also put some of her favorite candy, chapstick, bracelets, necklaces, playdough, and other stuff like that. She is now 13, and for the last few years I've put in a few gift cards, chapstick, and candy. I also got her fuzzy socks last year and she loved them, so that will probably become a tradition. I also put glow sticks in my kids' stockings when they were younger and something that has been in stockings since they were all very young is gummy worms. To this day we still put them in everyone's stocking..lol

I am here. Thank you!

This is on the top of my daughter's list too, but I just can't pay what they are wanting. I did see that right now Walmart has them for 169.00. I am wondering if that means they will be even less BF. I still don't know if I will get them, but I know a lot of people want them. My daughter also has been saving her money, so if they come down enough, she may have enough to get them herself.

I am looking for a laptop for my 13 year old daughter. It will mainly be used for Minecraft, Roblox, and YouTube. She will also use it for Microsoft Word. Is this a decent laptop? Also will be glad to take suggestions. I would really like to stay around the $300 or less mark, but willing to go as high as $400. https://www.walmart.com/ip/HP-15-Laptop-15-6-Intel-Core-i3-4GB-SDRAM-1TB-HDD-Natural-Silver-15-bs031wm/613105204 Also looking at this one (which is on the high end) https://www.walmart.com/ip/HP-15-Ghost-Silver-Laptop-15-6-HD-Intel-Core-i3-8145U-Intel-UHD-Graphics-620-8GB-SDRAM-HDD-15-dw0037wm/275990306

Black Friday 4K, Blu-ray and DVD sales expectations.
starbeck96 replied to jaymacfla's topic in 2019
I think Toy Story 4 will be one movie on sale. I don't buy a ton of movies BF, but we usually buy at least 5-10, usually for our daughter. My husband and I don't watch a lot of TV so not really looking for anything for us. -

We live in a small town and a few years ago someone actually got arrested because of fighting over the towels..lol. The year after that, they had police officers handing out towels, 2 towels per person..lol. A funny story. We always go to our local Walmart first and then we go out of town to finish our BF shopping. I avoid the area with the towels because it just isn't worth it. After we'd gone to all the other stores in the other town, we went to their Walmart. There, sitting in the middle aisle, was a whole huge box full of towels and a huge box full of bathcloths..lol. This Walmart is in a college town and I guess no one wanted towels/bathcloths..lol. So, I was able to get as many towels/bathcloths as I wanted. -
I have gone back to college this year and will get a bit of a refund. So, some of that will be for Black Friday shopping. I am also working a lot of extra hours in October (co-worker will be out on maternity leave) so that will help as well. I am hoping to have at least 1200.00, but won't know until a week or two before. We are doing things a little differently this year with Christmas. We are thinking about drawing names for all the adults on my side of the family which would include: myself, my husband, my dad, my sister, her husband, our two sons (who are 21), and one of our son's wife (our other son isn't married). We will still buy for our daughter, niece, and nephew. But, we are going to put a $ 25.00 limit on gifts this year so that really helps our Christmas budget.
