I had just been swapping books with friends as we are all in the same major but this class is for my minor and nobody had taken the class.

I concur with the above. If Michaels supports this site I would buy something there even though I lack artistic skills but would buy a gift for a friend from there. Or maybe a gift card from there.

Because they do not train the holiday workers on how to run the cashier line. They just grab ya and put ya there.

As a former holiday worker at TRU I can say they are unorganized because they treat the holiday help like trash and there is no communication. The morale of the workers is soooo low because they just don't care anymore.

I dunno I mean you had a fiasco over free chicken at KFC this year. Will BF 09' be full of unruly mobs and unruly behavior? My only concern is the behavior of others. If the economy is still sluggish will people be more apt to shove and be rude over a BF item? I hope not!

I have never camped out and always got good deals. No doorbusters but I don't care much for those as I have no need for the doorbusters 95% of the time. I get inline about 2 to 3 hours before the store opens. My advice is find a city (area) that is more high end. Where I go there is not many people in line as those who are rich are not going to sleep in a tent or wait in line for 4 hours to save a couple hundred bucks.

Wow very disappointing. Only 1 item they are going to ship me. After a lengthy phone convo with them I was told they do not have the items I want in stock (even though they charged my card for the full amount before they knew they were out of stock) and they can not honor the price when and if it is available because they have no clue what the vendor ships them.

Mostly alone. Friends wont get up that early. By early I mean I get in line around 2:30am. Most start shopping around 9am and I meet a few of them for lunch later in the day. This will be my last BF probably so I better appreciate it.

Frys should have some good deals to compete with BB. Provided your area has a Frys but I would think Frys would step it up this BF season

Significantly less based on that I am moving and last thing I need is more stuff. That and since I am moving before X-mas no point in getting my friends that live here holiday gifts.

I am moving in Dec so nothing big. I have made a promise to myself that if it can't fit in the car along with everything else too bad it ain't going with me. I might upgrade my video camera to a nice digital one though I am not a big video camera person and prefer photos. I don't even use my digital camera video mode... I know I got to find cheap yet nice gifts to give my Euro friends as I am traveling there and crashing at their places after Dec. I got time to think about that though.

I see. We are just different. I would just keep all my bills and if they came for the cash I would pay it. If they never did then oh well. As long as I covered my butt all is ok in my book. If I made an effort to get a hold of them my conscience is clear. Never heard about the student loans and CA's if that was the case I should have never got a loan. I hope it all works out for ya. Wow I commend you for going above and beyond what I would do.

I griped about DirecTV in another thread. They tried to get me to pay for the tripod but I told them no deal. Either put it on the roof or get out of here. But yea I dunno. Just keep copies of the bills.

Cause I am Canadian and when I go back home we can go to the drugstore and she can get the drug cheaper at a CDN pharmacy (under 100 bucks CDN). But I currently reside in Cali at the moment. In CA any yahoo can go to the free clinic. Legal citizen or not.
