  1. She is not a US citizen. The purpose/logic behind the free clinic visit was to get the script in case the USA drugstores would not take a foriegn prescription. I guess the best option is looking like taking care of it when I go back home to Canada in December and she is with me. The drugs are far far cheaper there.
  2. Much thanks, that is a start. :)
  3. I hope this is in the right forum as I am looking for a deal. Kinda lengthy so please bear with me here. My Russian gf (in Russia) was prescribed the USA drug Straterra. In her homeland it is $150 USD for 30 pills. (thats about 5100 rubles) She will be visiting me (again) in a few months. She wants to know if it is cheaper to buy it in the USA and return back home with the medicine. I have ZERO experience with the US health care system for obvious reasons and find it much easier (and cheaper) to fly back home to Canada and get all my health care needs taken care of every time I go back to visit. Which is why I throw myself at the mercy of the GD'ers who know much more than I do. Other questions I have thought of: - What is the price for this drug without insurance in the USA? - Is there a cheaper drug she could ask her doctor to prescribe? - Is there a Generic for this drug? - Is there some discount card she can get in the USA? - Is it cheaper to get the prescription in bulk? - I see places like Wal-Mart and CostCo saying 90 day prescription for like $15 is this true? - Will they accept a foriegn prescription (written in English) in the USA? - If not could she go to a free clinic and get the medicine/prescription? - Could she sign up for health insurance in the USA get the prescription and then cancel the insurance? - Should we just wait till after Dec. as she is visiting me again and we will both be in Canada. - Are the drugs in Mexico remotely safe and worth the drive there (my guess is NO!!) I'm open to all intelligent suggestions. :)
  4. woo hoo free skinimax!
  5. Too funny. I mean $1 Flip flops? I guess with the economy and all... But still! And it is a holiday weekend!
  6. *Quickly scrolls back up and clicks on the link!*
  7. with pop culture. Just took a survey and of the 25 people whose photos they showed I knew .... *drum roll* .... just one!! Sad thing was the only one I knew was Obama. For all the rest of the photos I put down I don't know who they are.
  8. Is there an Indian reservation near you? They sell smokes cheap as they are not affected by the taxes. At least the ones near me are.
  9. Clicked it as well. Good luck :)
  10. Seasons 1 - 4 Retail price is $139.98 http://www.amazon.com/dp/B001EL6EBS?tag=muppetcentral&link_code=as2&creativeASIN=B001EL6EBS&creative=374929&camp=211189
  11. I guess if you dont use your points up they get rid of them. I had 142 based on the McDonalds Monopoly promo. So I have no desire to participate anymore as I dont drink coke. But I did grab a Powerade tonight at the mini mart and here is the code for anyone who wants it 7jb769 waf4mb
  12. I hope so but that In and Out rumor about them charging 25 cents for a burger in honor of their 50th anniversary or something like that a few months ago was just a rumor.
  13. Thanks for the info, I was still on the fence about buying a large ticket item from them with the store closing but if I can not even get service then why bother?
  14. Mine was OK. The staff was wonderful and took names upon arrival and had a list so no waiting in line. Only minor drawback was when a name was called some people would look around and then pretend to be that person! I would stop those people and say NO! they just got here and their name is not the same as on the list. Lets just say I made no new friends that day. Also I was appalled at the number of kids there! Why would you pull your kid out of school just for a free breakfast? I got there with my friend around 10:30am and there was about 25 kids (8 to 14 years old) in line with parents!!! But overall I managed to go to the bank and post office and return with 15 minutes left before they called my name to get my free breakfast.
  15. Yea where would I find those deals? I have lots of vacation pics from my recent vacation I want to print out and put in my photo album.
  16. had one 15km away close ummm 5 years ago? then another about 20km away closed about 2 years ago. I got some great deals though. Then the one closest to me closed about a year ago and had no warning. I drove to the Burger King in the same shopping centre and the store was closed. Just one day ago it was open. Weird.... But yea all of them were low class and dirty and messy. Only thing good they had was those cheap $5 Little Ceasers pizzas for sale.
  17. Nothing in my area today. I ended up just buying beer on sale.
  18. You should have just ordered a few. The amount put up a red flag to the company. I was annoyed at the game store when the price under game said $29.99 and then when they rang it up it was over $60. I mentioned it and they said they had not got around to changing the prices on the display stands behind the counter. I was annoyed but the people working there are your typical high school minimum wage employees who just don't care. Besides I have complained to corporate before about other things and they don't care. District manager cursing at employees while I was in the store for example. No shocker the company filed for BK a while back and I doubt it will be in business by the end of 09'.
  19. O gosh where do I begin? Was it the novelty 3ft TV remote I got last year? Maybe the year I got a Japanese shirt (in hiragana) that they had no idea what it said but it looked cool. Since this is a PG forum lets just say it was not something I would wear in public. The year I got a a box of popcorn from the chick I was dating. the time I got a 6 pack of beer with 3 missing. the time I got a carton of smokes (even though i quit smoking many years ago). A lunchbox which I found odd. Hooray for the person who invented gift cards....
  20. There are a lot of good Boxing Day deals if you are near the Canadian border. I think you can get a few good deals online as well ( tigerdirect.ca, sears.ca, zellers.com, sportchek.ca, millennium3000.com ...etc) I'm sure there are other Canadians here who know the good Boxing Day deals and can share. I spend my winter in The States so I have no access to the flyers.
  21. Until the kids overuse it to the point of driving you insane. LOL. Just kidding... :)
  22. I reside in So. Cal for the winter as I have no great desire to stay in Canada for the winter. So for me it is like summer here. yea we had rain early in the week but I was oot and aboot in shorts last night bar hopping.
  23. Have not seen the answers as I quickly scrolled down 1. Silver and ummm blue? 2. Dec 25th 3. No idea who he is but ummm Jingle Bells? 4. Group.... Alabama is the only group that comes to mind 5. Zero (never heard of that movie) 6. Sally? (once again no idea what that movie is) ** Wow I stink at pop culture trivia. Alabama was sheer luck as that is the only country band from that decade that stands out. **
  24. Can't speak for GameStop but GameCrazy used to get them on Wed afternoons when my friend worked there.
