  1. the press release says midnight
  2. Boom! Just got the $249 HP touch laptop - I know it's not high quality but my 12 year old will be thrilled!
  3. I tend to wander around the Dollar Tree and pick up stuff my family likes. I also love scratch off lotto tickets.
  4. Yes, I've been trying to access mine - both the site and phone line are over loaded
  5. AndreaInNC yes I totally agree about not telling others. Our offices always goes together and gives her cash for the holidays and most are aware of the medical bills she's facing so hopefully that will help increase folks donations. HansieDZ I just emailed my church to see if I could get her daughter on our angel tree anonymously and I LOVE the idea to call local businesses - I'll get on that tomorrow!
  6. One of the administrative assistants I work with has recently had multiple medical bills pile up. She's a single mother with a high school age dd. She mentioned in passing that they won't be having a Christmas this year. She's one of the best people I know and I want desperately to help her out...however I know she would be mortified to be considered a charity case. Any suggestions? I'm planning to get her a gift card but I'd love to get her additional donations - without her finding out about it...mission impossible?
  7. agreed! I just want to know what will be included in the tote!
  8. Correct - it will always be attended - I think we'll try it out, if it's a nightmare we won't use it after the first store I'll let everyone know how it goes!

    CVS Rumors

Waking up on Thanksgiving and heading to CVS is one of my favorite BF traditions. Here are the beginning rumors: Free After Extra Care Bucks: Sparkle Single Roll Paper Towels Mars Single Candy Bar Hershey Single Candy Bar CVS Bottled Detergent (small) Phillips earbuds Gum toothbrush 2 pk Free CVS Batteries - coupon will print from machine in store Get $2 Extra Care Bucks on General Mills Cereals (Cheerios shown) $2.87 I'm sure we'll know more soon!
  10. I hadn't thought about the flag breaking - but I did have some concerns about other shoppers harassing my poor mother in law I guess I'll leave it up to her
  11. I have a well-oiled machine of a team to shop with every year on black friday, we all have our roles to play. My mother-in-law's job is to grab a shopping cart when we enter a store and immediately get in line - then we fan out throughout the store picking up sales and dropping them in her cart. One idea we're bouncing around this year is purchasing a safety flag - typically used on bicycles - for her to clip to her cart...making it easier for us to find her. Has anyone done anything like this in the past? Any words of caution? http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/116cvhBSScL._SY445_.jpg
