Just happened to stop by the Alhambra store here and found some of the Jersey Spongebob sheets I missed everywhere else a week ago! They had 4 sets. None were marked, but they were $4.98! Yeah! I also saw some other kids clearanced bedding stuff.

Great! Just don't want anyone getting sick over a great deal!:)

We've seen it happen before, mostly in electronics. Never have been able to figure out why that happens. But keep an eye on it, because sometimes they clearance again within a few months.

Just an FYI. I was chatting up the new Electronics guy at one store today, and he said they are supposed to reset the department next week and to expect a LOT of clearance to be on the ends soon.

Unfortunately, Walmart's clearance is COMPLETELY local. I used to shop them, but have largely given it up for a lot of reasons. But they don't have anything close to Target's regular, national schedule for marking down. I mean we hit a few bumps where some stores don't do the markdowns with the others, but Walmart's is completely independent. They get some sort of "budget" for each department's markdowns, and they mark them down as they have funds available to do so. I stopped by one yesterday to buy allergy medicine (one of the few things I do go there for), and saw their school supplies clearance. They were barely 20% off on almost anything. A handful of items were 50%. Really annoying. Even CVS had their's 75% off when I went yesterday.

They still had index cards by the box load at several stores I have visited, and many still had a lot of folders. If you don't see them, you might ask for the store manager and see if they are pulled. They might still sell them to you even if they are off the shelves. Can't hurt to try. FYI. I went to Vons (Safeway) this afternoon, and found 64 count crayons and a few other school supplies 75% off. So you might try there as well if they have them in your regions of travel. They are in the stores whose school supplies are stocked by Staples. The crayons were $1.25 each.

I just printed it off several times in a row. You could always go into Target and do it at the kiosk. If you have to waste paper, better theirs than yours.

ooh...that's encouraging. I'll peruse a few of the SG Valley stores tomorrow while I am out and about. I have appointments all day between Duarte & Highland Park, so I should be able to zip into a few stores between stops.

I checked 2 stores this morning, but no such luck. They are full price. However, if the store she found it at is a small store, they may be making room for other toys. We have 2 smaller stores here that do that. They'll run an extra clearance around October to make room for items that are selling better or for a higher margin. Could also be that the store is ahead on the markdown cycle slightly. I'm crossing my fingers and planning to check again Wednesday/Thursday after the usual toy markdowns.

anyone see the digital photo frames or cameras go to 50% today? I was at one store and they dropped from 20% to 30%, but I am hoping to get them lower.

Bad news for me. I went today and they had no idea what I was talking about. I had to go to a different store, so I had them call the one I went to yesterday. They ended up giving me an Imaginarium booklet ad that had a $10 off a $150 purchase for October. Not bad if I intended to spend that much, but I'd rather have the one you guys got. If anyone scores a spare, I'll happily pay postage, just PM me. Ugh!

I found a set of Superman twin sheets marked 75% off today. Thought I had missed them all. I really wanted the Spongebob jersey ones, but oh well.

I found two just today, and I had the coupon! They paid me to take it off their hands!

They are great! I took the advice of several folks on here and got the charger for it too. Target doesn't have them anymore, but Walmart is clearancing them, so you might want to check around. I have still seen a few at one particular Target out here, so you might even get lucky. They are real battery hogs, so the charger helps tremendously!

UPDATE! I asked the store manager about this today, and he told me that they aren't supposed to start giving those out until tomorrow! So all you lucky ones are really lucky! Hopefully I can make it tomorrow (Sunday) and they'll still have them. I went to the birthday event today to give my 4yo DS something special to do while DS1 went to baseball. Fun, but nothing really special unless you wanted the $5 off Nintendo DS game coupon.

Yeah! I found a couple of those a week ago, two totally different sizes. I bought them and stuck them on my baby shower gift shelf. Really nice! I wish they were available when I had mine. I think I would have liked it better than the Baby Bjorn.

I swear! I was at 2 TRUs this week and got nothing! I never get them in the mail or the paper. It is SO frustrating! The only way I ever seem to get them is online. Grrrr...

I happened to notice that the great price on the Cars helmet sets has been corrected. It looked like all the helmet prices were back to what they should have been. The Power Rangers Helmet thing is also ringing up properly now.
