I wouldn't be so sure. I stopped by one of my stores today that I thought was completely sold out, and they had apparently boxed it all up and put it in the storeroom for a few days. Today it suddenly reappeared in the garden center, and there is a TON of stuff. I was shocked. I am hoping to go back and get those 10 packs of solar outdoor lights at 75% off. I manage several rental properties, and we are constantly needing to put lights here and there so people can see better at night. Not so much needing actual light as needing a guide to the path. Those are perfect. And I could use them along one side of my house too.

not sure where you live, but some of the warmer regions don't seem to have the same clearance on this type of stuff because we can grill year round.

Which Color Wonder sets? TIA The Spiderman games were 30% off here.

I don't use them for the kitchen because I don't think they're strong enough, but okay for smaller jobs. I am still using the bags I bought for 90% off at Christmas. I bought a TON of bags and they had the smaller bath size attached. Think I paid $.49 or less per 2 boxes. Watch the holiday stuff for those deals to come around. I saw that there are a bunch of Glad products for Halloween I plan to get when they mark them down.

They FINALLY marked the school supplies to 30% off at most of our stores today!

I have been to 6 Targets in my area in the last week. Only one store, interestingly a brand new store, has school supplies on clearance. For those in the San Gabriel Valley, it is the Glendale store. I heard from the teacher that they cut their supplies budget this year, so I was looking everywhere. Wish I had known sooner. Not one of my regular stores has much of anything left at even at full price this year. I walked into Glendale this morning, and there were dozens and dozens of those 10 packs of spiral notebooks for $1! So I got a ton to take to the school for our class. I was also able to get some markers and crayons, but nothing at more than 30% off. I asked the gal who was boxing it up to make way for Halloween if they were donating it or clearancing it, she said it would be clearanced, but they had to make room for the Halloween stuff, so I guess we'll see what really happens.

Yours are overly bright? Ours are vile, filthy and fairly dim. Truly unpleasant places to shop. They are such a mess and the staff don't seem to give a rat's backside about customer service. And I get so annoyed over their lack of clearance markdowns. They have an entire aisle in toys that has been the "clearance aisle" for 2 weeks, and the prices are actually regular retail or, at best 10% off. Little wonder they aren't selling. I don't go there that often usually but have been working in the area for about a month or so, so I have been there more frequently. Anyway, I scored a great deal at Target today. I got the Power Rangers Mega Mission Helmet for $4.96. One was ringing up Item Not Found, but another had a red & white stripe tag for $4.96! These things are usually about $50!!! Brand New. They have marked down all the College 07 and Dorm 07 stuff. Most of this stuff is just your basic household stuff: bedding, kitchen items, etc. There are a lot of storage tubs and bedding items. Again, basic stuff, but sometimes that is just what you want.

I got the 300 oz Tide Mountain-something scent 30% off today. $12ish Not bad for such a big thing of Tide. They still had a lot. I was pretty surprised.

I meant to mention this sooner, but kept forgetting. For those of you with Starbucks in your stores, the stores around me are still honoring the $1 off coupons. I haven't had a single problem. I never tried to use the BOGO one since everyone said they were a problem. I give these to my kids and they use the $1 off coupon to buy their chocolate or vanilla milks. It is nice because it makes them a few cents each. Then I can buy my coffee too. :-)

They marked a bunch of boys fall pjs 30% off today. Just in time! DS #2 was having trouble getting his head through his, so I was able to get some 3 pc sets shirt/shorts/pants. And DS #1 only wears short sleeve/short pants ones all year round. Yeah!

10 packs of the solar powered garden lights are 30% off. I got some of these for my house in the last round. I will be buying more for some rental properties I manage. Really nice if you live in an area with a fair amount of sun.

All but one of the stores I visit marked them to 30% then back up to regular price. I found 1 during the sale at 75%. I had forgotten until I saw the item.

No, most of the toys are gone now. If you'd gone a couple of weeks ago, you might have gotten something. Since you live so far away, you'll have a harder time catching things at 75%. However, if you watch the boards here, you can probably get some good 50% deals, and if you are willing to take a chance, you might guess the markdown day correctly and get the 75%.

Hmmm...didn't see that post. I watch Legos like a hawk, and they haven't had any new markdowns in our stores since the big toy clearance a couple of weeks ago. However, I was at a store I hadn't visited before this week, and they still had an endcap with toys from that sale, so you never know what you'll find.

Just curious what Legos you were after? They had some on the toy clearance a few weeks ago, but I am not aware of any being on sale now.

Which area are you in? Are your school supplies marked down yet? Ours still aren't here in San Gabriel Valley.

Keep looking. It was probably 6-8 weeks from the first time I heard about these until I found them. Even knowing about them I only find them once in a while.

They were marking down children's licensed bedding at one of my stores today. Superman, POTC, NFL and a few odds and ends (not sheets) of Hello Kitty & Spongebob.

Several forms of Tide at 15% off. Certain fragrances (mountain spring pops out) in the 300 oz mega thing. The lemon scented Febreze Tide. One of the Tide with Downy also. Those last were the 200 oz & 100 oz. Schwinn jogging strollers; A handful of little kid bikes (in boxes, not built); In Step bike trailers; and Schwinn bike add-on thingy that allows your child to feel like he is on a tandem. All at 30% off.

I seriously doubt we've seen the end of the juices. The ones that were clearanced may have been a fluke. I have found them not clearanced since your experience. Basically they'd have to do away with selling them in food avenue.

Saw some Amy Coe Boppy Pillows 30% off at a new (to me) Target in Diamond Bar. Several items in Sporting Goods including free weights and a lot of the Reebok branded aerobics items went 30% today.

Some mens printed tshirts 75% off today as well as mens swim trunks 50% off. Looked like they were working feverishly in sporting goods, but they took their break as I arrived, so I didn't see what they were going to do.

Man, I hope you meant Cool Skin, not Cook Skin!! Just an FYI, DH has used a Norelco shaver for years and loved it. The battery finally bit the dust last year, so I got him a new one for Christmas. Unfortunately, the battery in it just died last month! A whopping 6 months out of it! We were going to get it serviced by an "Authorized Service Facility" but Norelco literally dropped that program the week we were going to use it. So, we were going to have to mail it in and wait for it to return (estimated 6 weeks round trip). We got the number of the formerly authorized agent, paid him $40 to get the new battery and called it a day. But that just added significantly to the cost of the shaver. So, I guess the main thing is to staple the receipt to the manual that comes with it and keep it where you can find it, just in case you have a bad battery. Ugh!
