  1. I hope they do another B1GF. That sale was great. Talked with an employee about a week ago. Didn't say for sure, but said the sale "would be great", I hope so.
  2. Has anyone tried to price match on one of Walmarts bonus items? I was price matching a nerf item. The one at Walmart had a "bonus pack". The one with bonus had the same UPC as the non-bonus one, and the exact same price. I tried to price match, but the cashier told me "it wasn't the same thing".
  3. Great question. If there is a line for everything............my Walmart stop will take 4 hours. :)
  4. Well glad Walmart is going to try and do something. But why don't they just model stores that DON'T have problems. Been going to Target's for many a years. They hand out tickets. Have many employees on hand to help. 5-10 minutes before the doors open the employees are out answering questions. Before the doors open, a group of employees stands to the side of the line to ensure those that stood in line get in before those that sat in their nice warm cars. :) This always starts a crowd going when, after standing in line for 2 hours. A group comes up and tries to blend in and get into line. The Target Managers make it real clear that isn't going to happen. Once inside security at the front reminds everyone "no running". It seem so simple to me, but (on the outside looking in). :) Whateven "plan" Walmart has, I hope it goes smoothly and nobody gets injured.
  5. Candy still 50% at mine. I don't remember Target seperating it like this before. :)
  6. GP, thanks for posting about this family. :)
  7. I am so happy and beside myself that Target will price match.
  8. Oh, the memories of that "horse thread". I, too, was so dismayed with Hasbrotoyshop last year that I haven't purchased from that site since. Glad to hear that you found a kitty.
  9. Wow, wow! It worked all the codes and I was able to add the $10 for $5 Gift Card. Thank you guys for posting to go back into your basket and add it. I tried to add it to the basket while shopping and then add all the other codes. It didn't like that. So I took the Gift Card out of the basket. I went to checkout used the other codes. When it took all of those. I went back and it let me add the Gift Card. 2 moose, the book, a robe, a penguin, gift card, shipped for $38. Thanks a ton. Here were my discounts: Discounts Applied: Free economy shipping with a purchase of $25 or more.: - $7.95 Free storybook when you buy both Hal & Holly Moose™: - $15.99 Bear Buck$® special offer: - $5.00 $5 off $25 Transaction: - $5.00
  10. I often get my children's (pre-teens) games at Gamestop. Not the new (prices a slight bit higher) , but I get them used. Mine don't care (they know the santa secret) and it saves a ton. They also have a promise that all used games work. This will be about the 4th year I have gotten them "used" games and we have never had a problem. I was at Gamestop today and picked up a Wii Music for like $39. Hope this is helpful!
  11. On Tgiving I went to stand in line at Kmart. I needed the Nerf Vulcan and a few other things. There was a line, but nothing real, real long. 10 min. before the store opens the guy behind me ask "so, what is everyone out so early for?", no one answered. A few minutes later Kmart opened theirs doors and as we were walking in the guy says, "wow, are there a lot of things on sale?; I came to get soda." Well, that is cool if you need 2 L. of soda, but that is what you get out of bed early in the morning of Tgiving for, wait in line, and fight a crowd???? More power to you then.
  12. I checked for that online also, it was an "in store only" deal.
  13. We did the outlets @ midnight. The traffic to get there was like a parking lot. I had mapped out some back roads and was able to bypass the traffic and make it to the outlets. Finding a parking spot was a bit harder. Did KB, they were organized, many employees on hand, long line to stand in, but it moved quickly. Went to Limitedtoo, for more BIGI sale. Finding a parking spot at Tanger was a bit harder, took about 1/2. Long line to check out. We did a few other stores and headed home for a short rest. Headed back out to Walmart for the 5 am sale. Out smaller, local Walmart, not sure what was going on. The line to get in went the entire length of the shopping center. A line formed @ the front doors and @ the garden shop entrance. I guess a few mintues before 5 am, they told the shoppers standing @ the garden shop they had to go to the main entrance. What resulted was a huge crowd infront of the doors (the line that had been @ the garden shop) along with the other line of people who waited @ the front door. The mob (um, crowd) grew deeper as more and more people came up to the doors. Must have been 200-300 people in the crowd plus the line. 2 cop cars, it was past 5 and the doors not opening. Had a feeling that it was not going to be a good shopping experience. So we left, drove about 8 min. to a Super Walmart, and got most the items on our list. The employees didn't really know where the items were, as the pallets had been brought to a center isle and stacked. We manged to find everything. Thanks to Gottadeal info, I was able to bypass TRU (online order) and Kmart (online order). A few stores in the mall to round out the morning and we were home by 7:30.
  14. I agree with above, about trying your code, if you haven't already. I have had the rewards card for awhile and mine was suppose to expire about a week ago. It let me use the free shipping code along with my rewards #. Hope it works for you.
  15. I used mine today, I just went to the TRU site to see if it could be used again, and no luck. Sorry!
