It is nationwide. the best thing is to have her scan the items, or use the price scanner to check. They didn't even know when they went 40% at my local store. If there is anything you want, I'd do it today before things are gone. Last year I bought my boys several costumes just to play super heroes. They love it! If there had been much left, I would have gotten a few things for the preschool. They always need dress up clothes.

You know, I looked around online, and this seems to be more or less the price. Not truly a huge markdown. I think the "savings" is off what they would be to buy individually, but the collection runs between $55 & $80. I saw it cheaper on ebay.

Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2007

Works for me. I have always thought it rather silly that they had such waste anyway. I noticed a while back that Walmart sells Windex in a powder that you need to add water to as well. I don't know if it was all they sold, but I thought it was a good idea. -

Yeah, I usually try to slip one or two in with a bunch of other coupons. Never too many at once, and always separated by those with good dates if using more than one. And, I just say, oh really and reach for it to get it back. Always worth a try elsewhere or another day. -

See page 1 for the holiday item markdown schedule. Usually starts at 50% the day after. Speaking of which, don't miss out on the Glad zipper bags, plastic bowls, paper towels, plastic wrap, & Napkins! I am just about to finish my last box of Christmas zipper bags, so it is perfect timing. -

I finally saw those basketball goals someone was looking for went 75% off. At the Pasadena store they still have a sign in front saying 50%, but the red tag is 75. Found MM juice boxes today. Didn't need them, so I took some up for the cashier. She did a little dance herself. :) They were marking down some Halloween stuff in the crafty area to 75%. Some foamies crafts and I think the potato head pumpkin stuff. -

dora, diego, thomas toddler bedding all 75% off today. -
interesting. The employee at the store told me that the books that were mailed were because of the CC, but apparently not. Weird.
-
did you actually scan any of the items? I ask because our stores didn't have signs up, but were on sale. 40% yesterday and 70% today.

I was finally able to get one in another local paper. Just the $10 off $75, but that'll do.
-
The Saturday LA Times said it would be in there, but it isn't. I checked a local Starbucks, and none of their papers have it either. I have shopped online with them, and boy boys are signed up for Bday club, but nothing in the mail. VERY disappointed.

thanks!

We did not get a Big Toy Book in our paper this week. Can anyone who did tell me whether or not their is a coupon on it like last year? I recall they had something like $5 off $50 or such. It wasn't available on the one in store, only the ones in the paper. I am trying to determine whether it is worth going out to get another paper or to troll Starbucks to find one. Thanks!

we've been considering these too, but I am wary of a number of the models that are being sold at cheaper prices. After reading a lot of Amazon reviews, I have seen that a number of them are no longer being supported by their manufacturers as far as new maps and stuff. DH wants one, but he is fussy, so I want to be sure to get the "right" one!

*HOT* FREE Wiggles V.Smile Smartridge plus shipping!

Shipping charge is outrageous! These things weigh about 6 ounces, so they cost about $2.50 to ship first class! Sounds like they are trying to cover their manufacturing costs so that the "free" offer doesn't cost them anything. -

Ahhh...yes, the memories. I had the Seal a Meal too. I just found it frustrating. I usually separate my meat and wrap it in either waxed paper or plastic wrap and then put it in Ziplocs and get as much air out as possible. I didn't like the press n seal, though maybe I ought to give it another try. I think I still have it. I ended up getting a pretty good price on ebay for my used one and an extra couple of rolls of the bags. -

Oh yes, look at the whole section. Some do and some don't. They are peelies that you can use right then and there. Oh, and TRU has them 30% off through today, so you can get a real deal if you happen to go there. I've seen the peelies at TRU & Target. -

I have to agree. I thought I would LOVE it, but I used it a few times and then it sat for 2-3 years. I finally sold it on ebay. -

I found something like that that I wanted that was sitting in an unattended cart that looked like go-backs. I took it, and the employee told me that I couldn't have it. I said, "wanna bet? it was in that cart of go-backs." She argued and said they weren't go-backs at all. I said, "well that's too bad, it was just sitting there." She was clearly planning to buy it, but she was also shopping while doing mark-downs so I didn't feel bad about it. It was a pretty full cart, too. She had some big plans. -

Oh, are you trying to get the good deals at the Glendale Galleria? If so, that is your problem. They have way too much traffic, so the deals sell out earlier. Try Burbank instead. -

That is a hard question to answer. Does it happen sometimes, sure. But by no means all the time. Most of the time there are awesome deals to be had. But if it is a great deal, you often either need to be there when or shortly after the markdown, or to know about it if it isn't marked. I remember wanting to get some Tide when it hit 50%, and seeing all the employees carting it off before the rest of us got a chance. And, we just had a recent report of employees getting all the Harry Potter Legos that went 75% off. I've also seen the markdown team carting stuff around with them in their carts of equipment. But, that doesn't mean it happens all the time. -

Oh, can the powers that be create some blurb about the juice boxes to add to the intro thing that GatorPam (who seems to have disappeared for months now) wrote? Seems like we go through repeating that info frequently enough to warrant it. I recognize that we may not want to have it posted, but, really, if Target hasn't done anything after all our posts, do we think they will if we put it there?
