  1. The one marked down at our store was the one I posted. It was originally $199. Interesting that they are different. Did you happen to find the DPCI? It is on the red tag on the package or your receipt.
  2. Unless I am mistaken, I think it is this one: http://www.target.com/KitchenAid-Classic-White-Stand-Mixer/dp/B00063ULMI/ref=sc_ri_1/601-8051763-9400919 They had some that looked just the same but must have had a difference. If you are a baker and don't have one, but can find this deal it is VERY worth it! Oh, and not a special price, but the Kitchenaid hand mixer that sells for about $60 is also AWESOME. I had always bought the cheap ones for $10, but they never had a lot of power, and they always would burn out and quit working after a year or two. When we married, DH had one of these and we still have it 10 years later! They are very powerful and last forever. But I digress...
  3. I have actually seen people lift the lowest shelf and hide things under it! To me hiding behind other merchandise is reasonable. But doing that is tantamount to stealing since no one would reasonably look there. I know some Hot Wheels guys who do it regularly. I just leave the aisle. I mention it because one day they HW guys were hiding something there and found someone else's hidden clearance Legos.
  4. look up the ASIN on Amazon and enter that instead. I had that problem earlier. Only the ASIN was working.
  5. Just an FYI. I had some stuff hidden, and the computer showed none in stock. But I went last week and they were still there, marked down to 75% and I bought them.
  6. Lego City Recycle Truck (ASIN B000NO9GJO) & Lego City Heavy Hauler (ASIN B000RUTMES) both 30% off.
  7. Yeah, but Target employees aren't allowed to do that before the store opens, at least that is what I have been told by them. They are supposed to wait until they get a break. I have a couple of cashiers I am friendly with. When I see something clearance I think they might want, I take it to their register and then "change my mind." They always appreciate it.
  8. Some of the Lego City items were marked 30% off yesterday at Glendale Galleria. Just the trash & recycling trucks, I think.
  9. They marked a bunch of garden stuff 75% off today. Those big garden pieces like the 3 tiered plant holder and stuff. I also saw them marking the pink garden stuff 50%.
  10. Yeah, I have had to do that too. I recently went to a store that I hadn't visited since spring. I had been going out that way regularly so I figured it would continue. Work patterns changed and I didn't get back out there. I had hidden a Disney MixStick in the spring. When was that, gang, they were clearancing them around March, I think. Well, I started traveling that way again and went to stash a set of markers or something in a regular spot. Low and behold, the MixStick was still there!!!! So it stayed in place for 6 months!!! At that point I had already gotten one, so I stuck it on the shelf.
  11. Wow! That is bad news. What did the manager do? How much did they charge you?
  12. I just wanted to say that I hope everyone down in San Diego, Ventura, San Bernardino & Orange Counties are alright. I know that the Santiago fire is close to Irvine, and the Witch fire has just taken over in San Diego. We are just dealing with heat and smoke here, but it is getting pretty nasty to be outside. Everyone stay safe!
  13. It is the 9 digit inventory code used by Target. If you look at a Target receipt, you will see a 9 digit number for every item. When you want to know if they have more in the back, it is this number they use to check. It is also found printed on the little red markdown tags and on the shelf tags. If your store price checkers have the keypad on the right side, you can also enter this number in to do a price check and to see if it says they have more in the stockroom.
  14. It is the 9 digit number on your receipt. It is also found on the little red tags if it was clearance. When they are on regular store shelves, you can see the 9 digit code on the shelf tag. It is called a DCPI.
  15. I didn't happen to scan anything, but I think it was all 30% off at ours too. I saw an endcap with the clearance sign up.
  16. You know, it may not be marked at your store yet. This store marked them earlier than any of the others, so it may still be at a lesser % off.
  17. I found an R2 D2 computer laptop game for $4.98 - 75% off today. The only deal I got today. FYI, it definitely looks like the Polaroid cameras we were all after are at a "regular" price of $69.99 now. Bummer!
  18. WOW! That'd be nice! What state do you live in? Here in CA it is just store policy at some stores to do something about it. My favorite is Ralphs (Kroger) where they give you the item free.
  19. Good to know! I was telling my friends about this too, so they'll be glad to know too. Thanks!
  20. You can just search the forum for Senseo and it will come up. Does anyone who has done the survey remember how long it took for them to respond? I haven't heard anything after about 5 days.
  21. I stopped by today and it looks like it was raised back to a regular price of $69.99. I snagged one of the shelf tags when they were moving them and resetting the shelf area at one store, and I scanned it today. It showed $69.99. Items ending in .99 are usually regular price. So, we may not get a deal on these after all. I am still going to check one smaller store where I figure there is at least a chance of it still going clearance.
  22. Yeah, I have had good luck with them previously, but this last sale has been a bit of a disaster. I keep pestering them. I think I am irritating them at this point but don't care. They knocked a few bucks off one of my orders because of it.
  23. That is interesting. Must have been a HUGE number. Was she banned entirely, or just at the local store? I have returned fairly large numbers of items at different times. I really do a lot of those in cash, though. to avoid the whole problem. I had heard about them doing it before. I think my mom saw it on one of those investigative shows or something and told me.
  24. TRU isn't on the verge of bankruptcy. They were 2 years ago, but they were sold to a private investor's group. They do certainly have higher prices on some items than Target & Walmart, but that has a lot more to do with their size than anything else. They don't have the same ability to get deals from manufacturers because they buy less than mass retailers. For some items, though, they are actually less expensive, and for many the same as the mass retailers. Our local stores all have much nicer employees than the ones at our local Walmarts. And they have the significant advantage of having a much greater depth of product. So, while they aren't my first choice most of the time, I sure would miss them if they were gone. It would be a lot harder to find some of the toys that kids want because the mass retailers simply don't have space to carry them all.
  25. Target will only allow you 2 transactions a year without a receipt. They use your driver's license to track it.
