Target clearance, How low will it go?
lovetoshopCA replied to angel-too's topic in Offline Hot Deals
I've long wondered about this. If they know customers do this, why don't they do something about it? Or do they just figure it isn't worth the hassle of messing with a few people who do it? Don't know if you talked about this, but I thought I would ask. -

so does that mean 300k is a wealthy area where you are??? LOL Here in Pasadena that would be a gang infested neighborhood or a total tear down! You can't even find anything for less than 500k that is worth a stop. UGH! The housing prices are out of control!! Thanks for the info on the digital frames. I did see several complaints about the Pandigital. I bought one of the Panasonics for our family, so if we don't like it, I'll return them all. -

Mine too. I forgot until you posted it, though. -
No, I agree. I know that toy sellers think they will, but I think it is just based on Elmo's success last year. I have seen lots of these, and I don't think they'll be any big deal.

Well, that's all well and good if your prescription has a generic, but not all of them do. I take a prescription daily that is not a part of that program. So, I'll go elsewhere.

I don't know if these take the larger ones or the smaller ones, but if you can get the 3 pack, they are much cheaper that way, and you'll inevitably use them. Target carries the 3 pack of the small ones (257 I think), but I have never seen them have the larger one (2025, I think). They are usually about 1/3 to 1/2 cheaper than the single packs. -

Oh, that issue is still unresolved, though. I have hidden items with an 8 on the end and still not had them reduced when they should have been. They have just gone salvage without the additional markdown. They SHOULD have been done, but somehow got overlooked. Still, there are probably a lot of people who didn't know this, so it is a good post! -

The battery will cost more than the book!!! -
I was told tonight by my Target Pharmacist that they will no longer accept competitor coupons for new or transferred prescriptions after November 4th! Bummer! I guess they'll be losing the bulk of my business. Ralphs (Kroger) still does, so it looks like that will be my new primary destination for prescriptions.

Target clearance, How low will it go?

Most of us know that they'll take an item down to 75% off, but the real problem in deciding is whether or not there'll be any left to mark down to the lowest price. -

I imagine it is only good on the small single packs shown on the coupon. Not either of the ones you ask about. -

I am in CA so it wasn't me, but I took advantage of someone else's stash of BTS Scotch tape! I found 4 of the 4 packs stuck behind the kids sheets. I left them when I found them originally, then when they went 75% off, I went back and they were still there. :) Our frames were in the lockdown, except for the ones I got. Someone had "hidden" a couple in plain sight (looked like the other stuff on the shelf and were turned face in) on an endcap in another department, and they sat there for 2 weeks, but were gone when I finally went to buy them this week. Fortunately, they seemed to be "found" by employees and put back where they belonged. -

I think it is only on certain items. If the item is not available in stores, they don't have the button. I have never found many items with the check store availability button. However, I was recently looking for a particular Playmobil advent calendar (there are several), and I saw the button and found they have them near my Mom. If you search for Playmobil Advent Duel, you will still see the button. -

Her deal was better than mine, but I got the Polaroid 7" ones for 50% off - $49.98. They were on an endcap in electronics. In some stores I saw them in with the regular priced ones. I never saw any Pandigital ones. -

Well, if you aren't in a hurry, you can probably get them 90% off after Christmas. They almost always have them as part of a men's gift set in the tools or men's department at Christmas time. I got 2 last year for our cars. -

I bought the one with the gift box. There is identical one, as far as I can tell, without the gift box that has a different DCPI. Mine is 056130900 -

If it is white and comes in a box and looks like the plug and play games then yes, it was 75% off today. Pretty sure it is what you are talking about. -

Yep, I saw the school uniform ones at 75% off today too. Unfortunately, none for DS. I could be wrong, but I suspect that new member hotracermike24 is a Target employee. Maybe he can give us the heads up now? How about it hotracermike24? -

I got the Polaroid 7" Digital Photo Frame for 50% off today: $49.98. I picked up for Christmas gifts and one for myself! Why hang out in a BF line for a noname one when you can get a good quality brand name one now?!?!? Yeah! Still no movement on the cameras, though. -

The DCPI number is the 9 digit Target number that you see on your receipt or on the shelf tag. You need to enter it into the DCPI part of that website: http://www.schumanfamily.com/fatwallet/targetasin.php The ASIN is the Amazon Standard Index Number which you see on Amazon's website. Amazon is the backend for the Target website. If you are using that number, you enter it in the ASIN box. If it comes up saying that it cannot be found, then it probably means it isn't in the system that that particular search database uses. As far as we have been able to determine, it only recognizes DCPIs that are for items also sold on Amazon.com for Target. It doesn't mean that there are no items, just that the database you are searching does not include them. The DCPI search is great for some items, but not for others. -

I got this Wooden Cranky the Crane set for $19.99 today!!! It rang up as $79.99, but it was on the shelf with a $19.99 shelf tag, and there were no other Cranky sets on the shelf or on the tags. What a deal! I also got a small lava lamp for $1.98 (always wanted one). http://ec1.images-amazon.com/images/I/413YL9PaOAL._SS260_.jpg -

Does it have to be Kodak? They have had the Panasonic ones on clearance for a while. They are at about $70 right now.
