  1. Looks like Halloween has gone salvage in SoCal, so you may not find anything else.
  2. The ones at our store are $55, but that is a 75% off price, so it won't go any lower. There are different models, and the one that is $55 (here anyway) started out at $200.
  3. Some areas with higher sales volume (usually large cities or areas where Target is really the only discount store) sell out at higher prices, so you don't get the great deals. Some stores also ship their clearance to other stores if they don't do as well selling it.
  4. I got the following Lego sets today: Mission to Mars 4694 $2.46 down from $9.99 DPCI 204000678 Creator (dino) 4958 $44.48 down from $89.99 DPCI 087061624 City Trash Truck 7998 $8.74 down from $34.99 DPCI 204000800 I also found Take Along Thomas Smelting Yard w/ Duck & Wellsworth Station w/ Mavis each was $3.74 down from $14.99 DPCI 204031470 Most of the stores around here DO NOT have the Legos on sale, but a few of the smaller stores do.
  5. Kids like those year round, so it might be good.
  6. I stopped by one store this evening and they were out. The sign said 50%, so I don't know what it was actually marked yet. I'll try a couple more if I can.
  7. that's okay, DS (age 6) needs a first camera.
  8. probably putting big displays of the ad ones out on end caps. just a guess. the giant playmobil sets are in the catalog, and some of the star wars ones too.
  9. Probably not. Might just be a piece of $%^&@*. I mean it may not work. Some of them are in pretty sorry shape.
  10. Yes, last summer I got red/black/grey/white ones. The new ones are Christmasy colors.
  11. Depends a little on where you are. Some areas only have one Target or are in a very high traffic area, and the deals sell out quickly at higher prices. Though I have a lot of friends who look right past the deals. Since you are new, it would be a good idea to go into your profile and add your location info. At least your state if you don't want to share your city.
  12. Unless I am mistaken, they are the ones in the domestics area. Target sells them every season and changes the colors. There are 12 of them tied together with a piece of cloth ribbon. They aren't really nice and soft, but they are functional.
  13. I would check the perimeter and other end caps over the next day or two. They may have simply pulled it to move to another location. they did that with BTS in one of our stores.
  14. it is in the october thread. they marked down some kitchenaid mixers 75%.
  15. That's my thinking. I have my fingers crossed.
  16. Eeewww! Yuck! It gives me a tummy & toothache just thinking about it!
  17. Yeah! You go, you'll get those 100 posts before you know it.
  18. Thanks! Yep! Be sure to check the mini-seasonal, then. They had it on the shelf next to the small stocking stuffer toys. They have candy in them. A bit large, but not bad for display. The Boba Fett candy/cookie jar was pretty cool. I might have to get one.
  19. Bless your heart! Thanks, really. So, anyone betting on 90% tomorrow for Halloween? I have a few Glad bags tucked away, and I sure would like to get them. I was at one store yesterday, and they had so little Halloween left that they already had 2 new aisles of Christmas nearly set. That was in the part they call Mini Seasonal, too, not the regular seasonal section. Mini Seasonal is where they have all the candy and small gifts, toys, food gifts and the like. Most of our stores have already got the main seasonal section (where the trees and wrapping paper go) already done, but not many have Mini Seasonal set yet. That is the area I am most interested in for Christmas, so I am anxiously awaiting. I always find some fun stuff there. If there are any Star Wars fans, they had some Star Wars helmet shaped mugs and candy/cookie dishes in there. They had Boba Fett, Darth Vader & a Clone Trooper. All ceramic. I know some guys who would love them.
  20. Ahh...that question goes back to my pet peeve....it sure would be nice if everyone would put something in their profile to indicate at least what state they are in! It is frustrating to go through the "where are you located" thing all the time. If everyone would just indicate it in their profile, it would save a lot of time.... Okay stepping down from my soap box now:o
  21. Gee, do you think maybe someone was hiding it? Camping stuff is a good place for that, you know.
  22. See the very first post to the thread. They mark down each department on different days (generally - not an exact science), and generally on a 2 week schedule.
  23. Yeah, it all depends on the supplier and how much produce a particular store sells. If they have fast turnover, then it will be fresher. If not, yuck! We don't have Super Targets or Walmarts, but our grocery stores are the same way. One store is especially nasty because they are a low end store (bag it yourself) and they buy the lower end of the produce (smaller items, less fresh). You just have to buy where it is best.
  24. I think they are referring to the expired MM coupon from the Target website. Some stores don't notice expired coupons, and this one is higher in value than the cost of the $.69 juice packs.
