Thanks for the responses. I may try to get online doubt its worth getting to store super early (although if ALL the ads are as lacklustre who knows?). Do they stock lots of toys or just the normal barely there selection for BF?

I've never had a problem before but who knows everything seems to be changing recently. The White Rabbit costume sounds great for my mostly white dog too. -
glad some of us got in on the deal. I wanted one but totally forgot about it:(

Are the barbies a deal at 5.99? It looks like they come with the outfits but I'm clueless about these things. I think the cheaper ones last year were just the doll for a little less at another store.

When are we guessing it'll go to 90%. I remember I made it the righjt day at store opening last year but I'm not sure if it was a Sat or Sun? I'm hoping to repurchase costumes at 90% and return the 75%. -
I've got a few lying around probably not new (but who knows). I may have just plugged in old keyboards and kept the new ones in box. Reminds me, need to check if supervisor snatched the funky split one from departed coworker

UH-OH...the Kohl's ad just killed the printer. Is it really that bad? Now I have to reset it before anyone else shows up.

Last year I was awake before 6 and gas station hadn't gotten paper. I walked over several times with no luck, 4th or 5th try eventually worked. I was half heartedly considering borrowing a neighbors delivered one for a bit but didn't

Anyone know the deal with purchasing firearms online? Do I JUST need license number or is it more complicated? So I called, you have to order firearms by phone and the guy I spoke to said they didn't have the schedule yet so they don't know. They ship to store free or can ship to a license firearm dealer (wherever you pick up checks license/paperwork) for a fee depending where it's being shipped to. Considering my nearest store is 76 miles away I sent an email about hours/fees.

I'm not sure if anyone else noticed but the fine print mentions lines starting 2 hours prior to 10am store opening for tickets. I don't need anything but didn't want anyone missing out. One ticket per customer per item

Do the bags go quickly or will there still be some later in the day?

I'm sort of with you. I saved and printed it frantically along with gander mountain but haven't looked at either. I'm being good and actually WORKING at work today. I'm hoping they'll have some fishing/hunting stuff on sale since I'm fresh out of the loop on video games my brother has/may get before xmas.

Yay! My mom was able to get the headless horseman dog outfit and a princess rider one for Bella earlier but said there were no chips/granola bars/toys. I don't trust her scavenging abilities SO may stop by if it's stopped raining after work. -
Thinking of fun stuff for little ones I remembered this one: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/31CBN68XW1L._AA300_.jpg My godson has had his for a while now, it can be messy with bananas and stuff but HE enjoys it and that's all that really matters:)You stick some cut up fruit in it and they get the taste without having to chew or be supervised for choking.

I agree it seems like a large amount. I wish I could spend that much on all my gifts but the truth is much less. I spend wisely and probably meet that amount in retail value for some members on list. I only have 3 children to shop for so they usually get lots of toys with clothes mixed in but everything comes from BF or clearance sales. And the people I know do not appreciate my gifts can forget getting much. For example my godson will get much better gifts than my nephew because his parents actually let him play with toys and don't have an elitest view on people and/or brands. I bought each mom a huge bagful of stuff at carters before baby's were born and while I see one child wear the stuff tons I have never once seen nephew in any of it. I know the situation is not pleasant and I wouldn't want to be the one to "rock the boat" but it is what it is. If you could spare the $450 I'm sure you would do so happily. I think the most important thing in THIS situation is to get the most for your money and make sure the KIDS understand it's not anything they did. It's going to be near impossible for them not to see the difference between $150 and $30 gifts hopefully they are younger/ older and will either not notice or be smart enough to understand.

sad but true. I check multiple times hoping to print something new and kill some time at work but nothing:(

Years ago I volunteered at a children's shelter and they were so happy with the simple things they got. I was may 15 and there were some little girls with normal baby dolls (nothing fancy) and some of the boys got soccer or basketballs. It was really humbling to see and made my holidays. I also try to stick to younger kids on the trees because its easier to get more for my dollar there. I spent about 20/25 last year but the stuff was worth much more since it was all bought on clearance/ BF.

I may venture to Target after work tomorrow depending on posts or could always send my mother. Don't need anything but some of the dog costumes were cute this year. I'd love one of the rodeo rider costumes for Bella. -
I too had issues last year at Staples due to only 1 cashier. Previous years I bought online without issue, not sure why I decided to go in-store last year.
