I can''t find the one I got my nephew recently but a family photo book would fit in stuffing. I'm posting one currently not available and another only in pink available at babiesrus. The last one is most similar (clips to stroller) but I think the one I bought had flippable parts for more pics. My bff's children have passed down the one in first post and love to sit and look at the pictures. http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51mMCmuo7pL._SL500_AA300_.jpg http://trus.imageg.net/graphics/product_images/pTRU1-6085410reg.jpg http://images.bedbathandbeyond.com/assets/product_images/230/11919116741540P.JPG

tinkrbel replied to Brad's topic in Offline Hot Deals
I got mine for the initial discount one year after Christmas since stuff was 75% or 90% off and we had like two carts full and woman offered it to me but I need to check if it's been cancelled for lack of use otherwise can find and start using again. -
congrats to the winners :)

how does the 5% off work. Is it on receipt or a credit towards next statement? -
was the ad the same english/spanish? Mostly its the the grocery ones but same stores ocassionally have different stuff on sale in english vs spanish ads. I pick up both when I walk into store just in case.

I'm not one for fancy stuff and have limited taste buds but LOVE this dessert everytime plus it's practically foolproof. http://images.media-allrecipes.com//site/allrecipes/area/community/userphoto/big/300124.jpg Ingredients 1 chocolate cookie pie crust 1 cup Jif Creamy Peanut Butter 8 oz cream cheese (room temperature) 1/2 cup sugar 12 oz container of Cool Whip 1 11.75 oz jar Smucker's Hot Fudge Ice Cream Topping Divided Drizzle: 2 tablespoons Smucker's Hot Fudge 2 tablespoons Jif Peanut Butter Directions: 1. In a medium bowl, beat together the Jif Peanut Butter, cream cheese and sugar. Gently fold in 3 cups whipped topping. Spoon mixture into pie shell. Using a spatula, smooth mixture to edges of pie. 2. Reserving 2 tablespoons of Smuckers hot fudge, place remaining Smucker's Hot Fudge into microwave safe bowl or glass measuring cup. Microwave for 1 minute. Stir. Spread over pie to cover the peanut butter layer. Refrigerate until serving time. 3. Just before serving, spread the remaining whipped topping over hot fudge layer, being careful not to mix the two layers. 4. Place the 2 tablespoons Smucker's Hot fudge in a small baggie and knead for a few seconds. Cut a tiny hole in the corner of the bag and drizzle over pie. Do the wame with 2 tablespoons Jif Peanut Butter going in the opposite direction of the Smucker's Hot Fudge.

My aunt gets the spanish paper (weekends only) and ocassionally there's a walmart one, every two weeks or so

This is great. I'll let my bff know, she probably doesnt even have a loyalty card but buys kids diapers/formula there so this will help. .....And then I read the limitations. I'll let her know anyways in case she does Xmas shopping there.she's more of a convenience shopper than a bargain one.

I don't think so, not unless they're huge book type posts. -
I'm not big on Christmas. I love to get other people stuff but don't really like receiving stuff and sitting around being observed. I prefer the run up to the holidays.
-
I appreciate what your husband does to look after us all. Hopefully the kids will bring as much if not more happiness than the sadness so it's not so bad for you. Wishing him a safe trip/return and you a happy holiday season. Make sure to take lots of pictures/videos to show him when he comes home.

I just requested/was approved for the week of Thanksgiving off. Actually starting the Friday before since its the local book fair and we get good deals there too:)

I need a useful ad like target,BB, Staples, Office Max etc.
-
i still have a whole bunch on the DVR from last years marathon on several channels but haven't watched
-
I don't know that either of you would be ok with it, but maybe offer to watch her kids if she gets you what you want/need?
-
I think its sad that sometimes "other people" are more worried about peoples kids than they are themselves. I know kids can be impossible sometimes but if you're not watching them you don't know who else might be. Aside from the big crowds, there's all sorts of sickos out there. Many times I'll be standing in line watching some toddler wander around only to have parent in front/behind me get into a panic over not seeing kid and I'll point the kid out. No doubt the kid will be yelled at etc. Sure the kid shouldn't have left their side but maybe mentioning that sooner and actually ensuring it happens might make it stick a little more in jr's mind instead of giving them a good rollicking 10 minutes or more after the fact.

the new RB could be a must for BFF husband but knowing him will buy as soon as its out with all the add-ons:(
-
I will sit down someday soon and take bits and pieces from all your scenarios to create my own. I like the binder idea but don't think I have the patience to create it plus would be bulky and I don't really plan on price matching (I'm still too scared). I like the notecards idea and maybe I'll try the gottadeal list this year. I usually just excel a list with the stores in order of stores(listing opening hours), what I want, price etc and keep ads in the car. Usually 2 or more places have same thing so just add to each stores list and then cross of all lists when I have. I'm not as organized as many of you but I usually get what I want. I will definitely be printing ads in color this year, B&W just isnt the same for product recognition and its on work's dime anyhow:) I think my biggest difference this year will be calling around/visiting stores I plan to purchase at and speaking to store manager about policies/procedures/ and previous years experiences.

Live Black Friday Webcast & Chat - Would you participate and watch?
tinkrbel replied to bigjimslade's topic in 2010
I like the idea and would probably participate (depending on what's in the ads) but would definitely watch either live or afterwards depending on date/time. I'm usually free after 5:30pm EST. It would be interesting to see what you'd fit in a 2 hour time slot though, that seems like an eternity. You should do some live contests halfway through or something to liven it up a little -
I looked at the ad again over the weekend and it 's not all toning shoes for one price but a staggered sale price of maybe 5-10 off regular price-nothing fabulous. I stand corrected, there's nothing worth while in there.
