  1. our store had some yarn sweater wraps w/belt for $10 last week with the 50% off and other wool coaty type ones w/o belt for the same so this seems silly to me compared
  2. Ditto. It was last year, but I have no clue if they fared well or not. Seems a waste $16 compared to $7 but I'm sure they're at least slightly better quality.
  3. amazon, buy.com, jrelectronics and there's one more I buy dvd/blurays from kinda regularly. I'd say for recent seasons you'll probably see BF sales. BestBuy had some tv sets on sale last week not sure if sale is still on could try store pickup and save shipping.
  4. Thanks, I'll check the store tommorrow morning. I'm sure they'dagree its better to spend a little more and get a quality item. Instead of having to replace every 3-6 months.
  5. I am the dedicated espresso maker for our office and we've had terrible luck with the Mr Coffee Brand with two machines dying on us within the last year. My coworkers insist we need a replacement to feed their habit. One machine was business purchased and the original was a colleague's. I am looking for a simple maker with decent reviews nothing fancy needed I just don't want to spend 20-30$ and have the thing explode and die on us. Both that died started by making a huge mess and eventually the knob on the side of machine popped out rendering machine useless. I have $40 Kohls cash but everything online seems outrageously priced.
  6. I don't think BF is under attack only the tradition of physically going to stores. I hope there will be less people out and about. I personally don't get a kick out of shopping and would do even my groceries online if it was offered with free shipping like they did in England. I would consider camping out (a little more) if it were the case and something I want is on sale.
  7. That is beautiful. I can't imagine the amount of patience it takes to create that.
  8. I've been getting those this morning too Hopefully will be resolved soon.
  9. Has anyone ever seen the 50% off clearance on Tuesdays when Cardholders get extra discount? I went back yesterday and got some more stuff plus returned what I'd bought at 40% and repurchased ay 50% but was curious if I should have waited.
  10. This is kinda back. First store had 50% off men and kids and 40% off women. Second store had 50% off everyone. Managed to get a few pairs of lounge shorts for under $2 and a pair of jeans for $5.xx.
  11. My father thinks I go overboard with the excitement/planning but he gets the mathematics behind it. He even ventured to Walmart last year for some stuff to send his family in Cuba. It helps to get things dirt cheap when they charge $15/lb to mail it over.
  12. Did anyone do BF at Sam's last year? Did they stagger times for advantage/advantage plus members? I'm guessing online is the way to go but as its right next to walmart I thought I could stop by while mother did walmart.
  13. Just a thought, but I just checked website and the annual membership shows as $40 so comes out to less over long haul. It's not really a deal but useful if people want to avoid the surcharge charged to nonmembers over holiday season. Also, they're BF sales may be worth it? Looks like they had a very nicely priced laptop last year.
  14. link to that might be useful somewhere. I'm sure lots of ppl would love to pre-order and have guaranteed for holidays. I guess he's what NKOTB was to my age group back in the day. I don't get it:)
  15. Looks like BB is one per person per item see store specific thread
  16. did it have any special design/tag?
  17. did it have any special design/tag?
  18. nobodies mentioned it yet but theres the justin bieber dolls coming out in december supposedly
  19. I'm liking this idea but not sure if it's like walmart where it applies to select items. It sure beats paying S&H even if store pickup takes forever at my local store. If an items guaranteed and same price as online its worth a little hassle.
  20. I'm starting to think I should have a clue what I want by now and have no idea
  21. Last year they did a week of all dvd-bluray sales and there was a page setup with the deals for the week. I think I still have it bookmarked at home.
  22. I believe the majority of the stores locally DO NOT use most of the stuff listed. Admittedly I've skipped going to BB early the last few years so maybe they've upped the ante since then. As a female who does BF with my mother security is a worry. I'm not overly vigilant but when you're 20 people back or so and trouble starts brewing at the front of the line because ppl are just showing up and trying to get into the front its disturbing. I'm not averse to having to give someone a good thumping but prefer not to and honestly having just woken up and gotten to store ASAP I'm not TOTALLY awake yet.I love the mention of the snowglobes, that is practically a family tradition and JC Penney usually throws in at least 1 thing that makes our trip worthwhile too. I think everything listed would definitely make shopping on BF a more pleasant experience. Name&Shame: I had less than pleasing experiences last year at Target-attempted line jumping, Walmart-total disorganization and ridiculously long lines(at noon), Kmart-nobody had a clue where BF items were(or for that matter the fact that some hadn't shown up at all) and Office Max-employee refused to sell me an item because ad item# did not match the ticket item# even though the ticket clearly showed sale price. I took it in stride as had done most shopping online but a little knowledge/planning goes a long way for shoppers and its something retailers should take to heart and practice as well.
  23. home theatre/receivers?
  24. that'd be a nice bday gift, although they've never been high on my list of BF stores
