Burnt_toast82 Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 Grr! I clicked on the Kindle 2 as soon as it went live and it sold right out and won't let me wait list.... Very frustrating!
mom2monkiesx3 Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 Same here..I'm about to order one at full price. A Kindle is the only gift I wanted for myself!! I did when they first came out...best thing I've ever done for myself hands down!
sweetdiggity Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 Ds picked it up at target for $59.99 and it came with $10 gc. havent seen a better deal yet. Thanks for the reply. I went ahead and ordered it. Don't think the deal will get any sweeter!
Mistygirl Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 Waitlist button became click-able for a second but I still wasn't able to get on it!
Lidstrom Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 Waitlist button became click-able for a second but I still wasn't able to get on it! Does it tell you if you are added to the waitlist?
Layher6 Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 By some miracle I got the kindle deal. We have very slow internet and it did spin for me for a minute and then it said it was added to my cart. I am so glad because I came home early from the shopping to try and get one!
Mistygirl Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 Does it tell you if you are added to the waitlist?Edited to add:Yes, it will tell you if you are on waitlist. Sorry, I read your post wrong! No, like before it was just spinning and then it when it showed again it went to un-clickable "Join waitlist". It you get added to the waitlist, it will say something like "on waitlist" and it doesn't show that.
allshoppedout Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 (edited) what if I accidentally hit waitlist?? I don't want to be on?? will it order it for me? yikes Edited November 26, 2010 by allshoppedout
buttaflye Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 Waitlist button became click-able for a second but I still wasn't able to get on it! Me too!
Svuroo Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 I had 4 browsers open and they all crashed right before 11 due to the Kindle. I was in the middle of weighing $300 worth of pros and cons on the TV deal so it didn't phase me. Yesterday I picked up the Overstock Nook deal, which IMO was a little better anway. What's with all the junky deals coming up? The laptop, Wii, tv, and Kindle were all on top of each other. It doesn't look like there's any other big ticket items coming up for a bit.

kerryjo Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 They had racks of these same Kindles at our local Best Buy an hour ago. Drat!

iluvwalmart Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 what if I accidentally hit waitlist?? I don't want to be on?? will it order it for me? yikes No it wont. You have to add the item to your cart & check out yourself to get the item.
Xfeg Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 How much was the kindle? It wont tell me how much they reduced it.
Svuroo Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 How much was the kindle? It wont tell me how much they reduced it. It wasn't really reduced. The Kindle 2 was replaced by a newer model several months ago. I think they're only availble resale now.
Cinnamonhuskies Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 I have a love/hate relationship with Amazon.
me2 Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 Amazon is a pain. I bought Halo a week ago for 48. They won't price adjust, so I have to repurchase at 29.99 and return the 48. For $18, well, closer to $16 after shipping I'll do it, but it's kind of stupid that they won't price adjust.
buttaflye Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 How much was the kindle? It wont tell me how much they reduced it. The Kindle 2 (previous generation) was on sale for $89
allshoppedout Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 No it wont. You have to add the item to your cart & check out yourself to get the item. thanks, whew
