I ended up ordering this one online at Staples. It is $299 after rebate. That's the same price as the others I was considering, and it has the same processor as the one at OfficeMax. But this one has 6GB and 750GB HD instead of 4/500. I have narrowed down the list of laptops that I am looking at and would appreciate any input! I am looking at: Toshiba 15.5", 4GB, 500GB HD, Intel Core i3-3120M processor for $299 at OfficeMax Dell Inspiron 15 15.6", 4GB, 500GB HD, Intel Core i3 3217U processor for $299 at Dell HP Sleekbook Ruby Red 14" Pavilion 4GB, 500GB HD, Intel Core i32377M processor for $295 (Cyber Monday) I have never had a Toshiba. I am hesitant with Dell after a bad experience. I have loved my HP, but wish it was larger like the other two! The Toshiba seems to have the best processor specs of the 3. I will be using the computer for work and home--need it for word processing, internet, and some Photoshop. Any opinions appreciated! Thanks!

You are right! AT&T and Verizon do, it is Sprint that doesn't! I am confused after looking over all the various plans!

Thanks for that info! I didn't know that you could do that with AT&T! We were happy with Sprint until we moved 3 miles out of town. Our phones are now always on roaming at home so we have dropped calls, delayed text messages, no notification of missed calls, etc. We are basically unable to use them while in our house. I know Verizon service is ok here, and have heard AT&T is as well. I do wish AT&T had shared data plans!

I wonder if other carriers will offer this too!? I'm trying to decide if I should take his deal or wait and see what Verizon offers for BF. Because of lack of coverage we need to switch from Sprint to either AT&T or Verizon. Verizon offers better coverage of the two.

I think I will like shopping Thursday night more than Black Friday morning. Our family time is over by late afternoon, and I am not a morning person! For the last few years I have gotten most of my shopping done online in the wee hours of Friday morning, so getting in line and navigating the crowds is even less appealing when I haven't slept. I just wonder when the online BF sales will be starting this year!

Just a warning--I placed an order that didn't seem to go through at the very end--got that same warning about things not working. I also didn't get an email confirmation and the items were not emptied from my cart, so I thought the order wasn't placed. Tried again, but noticed that my new CC that I had entered was listed. Checked my email again and got a confirmation, so I guess it did go through. Who knows.

There are some great deals! I really like the Calf Medium East/West Tote! But....I'm not shopping for myself! I still need a gift for my sister but I don't think she would like any of the colors. Judging by the pictures, I think I missed out on some of the better colors!

That's great!! And good to know! It drives me crazy when the price is lowered on something right after I buy it! So if it is a significant purchase, I check the price to see if it goes down.

I am not sure if the OP was trying to get the refund at the store or through .com. But since the original purchase was on .com, I would think going through the CS on .com would be the best bet since that is also where the price change was noted, not in the store.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes! I have seen where they say "prices in stores may vary", but since you purchased online and now the price is lower online I would think they would. I have found that most stores do this within a certain time frame.
