I thought they had other items, other than just electronics, that had the guarantee...not a lot of them, but the more popular ones...*sigh* I bet it'll be there too, but I don't know that they'll have them in stock even for that day...I keep calling and I'm hearing (as well as seeing on the Spinmaster website), that there are manufacturing delays, so who knows...darn it...

I've been searching. Just trying to figure out what the thought process is on this one...I keep calling places, and no one knows when they're getting them, but I keep thinking if they're in ads, they *should* have them in stock at least on the day of the ad release...calling isn't getting me anywhere, and I was waiting in line at Target on Friday a half hour before opening (actually I was first in line), only to find that they didn't get any in on that day's truck...

Does anyone think that Walmart might have these as one of their guaranteed items for Black Friday??

Even if I'm not looking for something specific at Kohl's on BF, I usually find *something.* This year, the ad is just meh for me...and maybe part of that is it seems that they are excluding a lot more from their percent off sales. For instance, in the past, I've gotten decent deals on video games they sell, though they don't have a great selection, but if I'm looking to get something to fill in a gap I can usually find a decent game, and now you can't get any additional discount on them. Just not feeling them this year, which is really unusual for me...guess we'll see what happens when more big ads are released...

I went to several stores yesterday, called even more, and no one has them here. One of my friends texted me on Monday that Target had them, but I had this stupid thing called work that I had to be at, and couldn't get there. Can't find them anywhere, and all three stores that I went to said the same thing, that they are backed up at the manufacturer. Walmart had 2 boxes on order that were already past the expected receipt date, so they have no idea when to expect them to arrive...very frustrating, but glad there are several more weeks until Christmas...

Hoping this is the week we start seeing some of the good ads!! I'm getting antsy!! LOL

Are you sure it was sold out? I was getting the Monster High Deadluxe High School, and there were two matches that came up for it, one that was at a $109 price point, and then a separate one for the BF price of $99. Similar thing with the Beadola...those were the only things I got, but it did make me wonder if all of the items were like that, so once they sold out x quantity at the sale price point, they reverted to the higher one?

I'm done...and now that I'm giving up, I'm sure everything will be up and running properly in the next half hour...I remember this crap from last year, trying to get the big box of Legos, hoping I could avoid the store...guess I'm not avoiding the store again this year...

I got to my cart on all 3 things I'm viewing walmart on, and I can't check out...so beyond pissed, because I know they'll be gone in a few hours, if I go to bed...but if I'm going to make it out tomorrow night, I've gotta get some sleep... now I'm getting an "internal server error," whatever that is...

I like the team jersey idea...I'd also love a hoodie kind of shirt...I like the T-shirts, but I always have to wear a shirt underneath it, living here in the NE, and if I'm standing in line outside, I have to have a jacket on, so no one can see my shirt then...if there's a hoodie or sweatshirt, I can wear layers underneath (like a GD BF t-shirt ), and still advertise GD, without the need for a huge jacket over top...

I got a Shark a few months back from Best Buy...you can remove the plastic receptacle (can't think of what else to call it) from the vacuum and carry it with you so you can easily vacuum stairs, too...it's awesome...great suction on both carpet and hardwood/tile...I think we paid about $150, but after a series of $50 vacuums over the years, it was time for an upgrade!! Very happy with my purchase, and it's significantly lighter than our last vacuum was, too...

wow, and I thought the fact that our store got 30 was bad...our store also had 10 of the Duplo towers, 3 of which were still there when I walked past the pallet about 5-10 minutes later--but all of the LEGO ones were gone...and I kept my hand on mine in my cart the rest of the time I was in the store, because I knew they were a HOT item!!

This is me, too...only my DD is only 5, so it'll be a LONG time before I have company...but yes, my friends think I'm nuts, and not a one of them is brave enough to try it with me...oh well, I just have to prioritize, and go after what I want/need the most...

Wal-Mart was complete chaos, but I managed to get my stuff and be out the door by 6:15. Any place I went after that wasn't crowded at all, but in JCP, there were people trying to use multiple coupons for their purchases, so I waited probably 2-3 times as long to check out there than I did in Wal-Mart...ridiculous!! Holy crap!!

Sorry if this has already been asked, but does anyone think they'll have a deal on the two new Pokemon games that just came out a couple of weeks ago? I'm nearly done with my shopping so the in-store deal that TRU has for buy 2 get a $25 GC doesn't appeal to me...

And I got to JCP at 6:20 and got a coupon, but they had no snow globes. They usually have them for a LONG time after the store opens, so I'm thinking our store didn't have them at all...I've gotten one every year, except the year they didn't have them, and this year...

The only thing I absolutely HAD to have was the LEGO creative tower at Wal-Mart. I was in the store by about 4:15, to make sure I got there and was in line early. Since no one was in line for them yet, I quickly ran over to electronics and picked up some Skylanders Trap Team things that were still on pegs (there was a whole big plastic-wrapped bin of them, but I wasn't chancing opening that), then went back to the LEGOs. Again, no one there, so I parked myself in the center of the pallet. Our store only had 30, and they had 10 towers of Duplo blocks. Another woman came up behind me, and was with others, and she decided to run and see what else she could get. She came back with a waffle maker and some bedding that came off of pallets that had already been opened by other customers. So by the time 5:30 rolled around, there were probably 15-20 people standing near this pallet, and then a W-M employee comes by and asks the lady behind me where she got her stuff from. She told him the truth about how she got it, and he plucked it out of her cart and told her, "you're not supposed to get these until 6," and walked off with them. So I got the LEGOs (which I'd have been totally pissed if I'd been rushed at 6, and didn't get them, since I had been standing there for so long!!), and then was blocked in by carts...finally broke free of the carts, and some moron has like a 4 or 5 year old in the fray, and she's getting upset because I'm not stopping to get by her--in the meantime, I have a cart coming right at me from the side, and I'm trying not to get hit myself. So the lady called me a "jerk" for not stopping, but I'm sorry, if you're stupid enough to not keep your child out of harm's way in that mess, YOU'RE the jerk--and I called her another word and walked away, LOL...made it to the toy aisle and got the Snow Glow Elsa that I'd been hoping to get, but wasn't thinking I could. But the funniest part about that was I couldn't get into the aisle, so I asked this man and woman standing alongside the dolls, if one of them would grab a doll for me. The woman says, "Nope, not me, I can't. It hasn't been unwrapped yet!," and I reminded her it was after 6 now, and the guy just reached up and got one and handed it to me. I walk about 2 feet forward, and I hear another person ask the same thing of the same people, and all I can say is "Good luck!!" I also picked up the Flutterbye fairy toy, as DD has been asking for that for two or three years, so for $16, she's finally getting one... I went to several other stores and cherry picked some doorbusters, but Wal-Mart was my major score...

the one item I wanted is already sold out...fantastic...

couldn't risk not getting my stuff ordered, so I just went with the 15% code...I had $30 in KC already, too... Now I have another $45!
