The only thing I absolutely HAD to have was the LEGO creative tower at Wal-Mart. I was in the store by about 4:15, to make sure I got there and was in line early. Since no one was in line for them yet, I quickly ran over to electronics and picked up some Skylanders Trap Team things that were still on pegs (there was a whole big plastic-wrapped bin of them, but I wasn't chancing opening that), then went back to the LEGOs. Again, no one there, so I parked myself in the center of the pallet. Our store only had 30, and they had 10 towers of Duplo blocks. Another woman came up behind me, and was with others, and she decided to run and see what else she could get. She came back with a waffle maker and some bedding that came off of pallets that had already been opened by other customers. So by the time 5:30 rolled around, there were probably 15-20 people standing near this pallet, and then a W-M employee comes by and asks the lady behind me where she got her stuff from. She told him the truth about how she got it, and he plucked it out of her cart and told her, "you're not supposed to get these until 6," and walked off with them. So I got the LEGOs (which I'd have been totally pissed if I'd been rushed at 6, and didn't get them, since I had been standing there for so long!!), and then was blocked in by carts...finally broke free of the carts, and some moron has like a 4 or 5 year old in the fray, and she's getting upset because I'm not stopping to get by her--in the meantime, I have a cart coming right at me from the side, and I'm trying not to get hit myself. So the lady called me a "jerk" for not stopping, but I'm sorry, if you're stupid enough to not keep your child out of harm's way in that mess, YOU'RE the jerk--and I called her another word and walked away, LOL...made it to the toy aisle and got the Snow Glow Elsa that I'd been hoping to get, but wasn't thinking I could. But the funniest part about that was I couldn't get into the aisle, so I asked this man and woman standing alongside the dolls, if one of them would grab a doll for me. The woman says, "Nope, not me, I can't. It hasn't been unwrapped yet!," and I reminded her it was after 6 now, and the guy just reached up and got one and handed it to me. I walk about 2 feet forward, and I hear another person ask the same thing of the same people, and all I can say is "Good luck!!" I also picked up the Flutterbye fairy toy, as DD has been asking for that for two or three years, so for $16, she's finally getting one... I went to several other stores and cherry picked some doorbusters, but Wal-Mart was my major score...

the one item I wanted is already sold out...fantastic...

couldn't risk not getting my stuff ordered, so I just went with the 15% code...I had $30 in KC already, too... Now I have another $45!

Got my T-shirt today, thanks!! Super excited about the zipper pouch that came with it--perfect for holding my cards and ID, and will put my vehicle key on it, and I don't have to carry a huge wallet now--woot!! Thanks again, Brad!

Yep, the LEGO tower is perfect...DS loves LEGOs, but I'm a bit anal-retentive, and therefore don't let him mix sets, LOL...so this is right up his alley, so he can do whatever he wants with them, as long as I don't step on one in the dark...

Great minds think alike, because I realized the same thing... MY question though is, we know that you get the $15 KC even on online orders, but will THAT start on the 24th too, or will that only be for BF? I LOVE earning KC while spending KC, LOL!!

And yup, just went through the archives, and it was a weekend sale, where the prices started on Thursday night, and I ran down then and got it...I will save myself the hassle and be at Target when they open on Sunday...

It wasn't Thursday night, for sure, because I had it before the BF craziness...and I think you're right, that it wasn't Wednesday either, because we went to the movies that night, but it was the BF price, so I can't for the life of me remember when it was, other than the prices were in the system the night before the sale was to start, so I went that night, and picked up Swap Force for both our Xbox and for the kids' 3DS, since it was so cheap... Thank you for this info!!! I have no problem paying a few dollars more, to ensure that I have it in hand!! Will make for a MUCH less stressful BF for me, since that's the top item I need to get!!

Last year, I remember running to Wal-Mart the night before Thanksgiving to pick up Skylanders Swap Force at the BF price, because their pricing was already coming up at that point...wondering if this is the norm, since I don't typically shop at W-M first on BF, but my kids are asking for Trap Team (oh, don't we have ENOUGH of this stuff already??), and if it goes on sale the night before Thanksgiving, history will repeat itself...here's hoping!!

So this is stated on their website, but there are no details...I'm wondering if it will be the entire ad that rewards members can get early sales on, or if it will just be select items...I'd love to get Skylanders Trap Team next Sunday, and not have to worry about it on BF!!

Yes, Target used to do it, but they've stopped in the past three or four years or so, and even before then, it was becoming more and more difficult to get them to do it, even though people were bringing copies of emails received from corporate that said that the store would honor the adjusted price. I almost got burned one year, played the corporate card, got the adjustment, but the manager was PISSED...never attempted it again, because it was too close for comfort...
