I am having so much trouble shopping on kohls.com tonight. My cart keeps getting emptied out and I have to start over from the home screen.

Honestly I think it's beyond ridiculous. Almost 3 weeks ahead of time is a bit much. I think they are in it for the attention.

We had the snow globe type ones before. They don't always do well in winter. We had a condensation build up in ours, then it froze on the inside. Which made the snow globe collapse. After some trouble with snow on other inflatables my husband re-wired them to stay up all the time but the light only came on at night. That way when it snowed they didn't end up covered in snow.

If I were to buy a Wii u bundle would I need to buy an additional gamepad so 2 people can play? Yesterday the Deal of the Day on Amazon was 1/2 off a PlasmaCar so I told my mom and she picked up 2 for my younger boys. Today they have building toys. I almost forgot we bought tickets to go see the play A Christmas Story this year. Only a couple weeks away. My husband use to do a big animated display but now just does lots of lights. He's helping at a local park this year that does a drive through display. We always go there. Now I only have one kid left in elementary school so only one Christmas concert to go to.

We have St. Nick, the night of December 5th. Never did Elf on a Shelf. Last year my kids had the Lego Advent Calendars. Those were kind of pricy so I'm not sure we will do that again. I have a Christmas Pickle ornament from the exchange here so the kids have been interested in that. We always visit Santa. Try to make it to a parade. I have my kids pick from an Angel Tree a child close to their age and let them shop for that child. I only send out a few Christmas cards. Sometimes I think there are too many extras and everyone gets worn out before Christmas even gets here.

Do furniture stores have good sales during Black Friday? We are looking at replacing all our bedroom furniture and mattresses. I looked at last years list and only Ashley Furniture was listed.

I found a mix and match recipe for stuffing I'm going to try this year. Plan on making a bean dish that has a variety of beans, bacon, and hamburger also. I make this for all the holiday's we have. I have a crock pot mac n cheese recipe that I've made before, probably make that also.

I think TRU has had b1g1 1/2 off in the past.

I'm starting to think of planning a menu for Thanksgiving. I usually do the traditional things. Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, green bean casserole etc... I'd love a good recipe for dressing. How do you make your turkey? We had a deep fried one once at my inlaws and my husband really liked it. What about dessert? I prefer pecan and my husband prefers pumpkin. Usually end up with both. I saw a recipe for a caramel cranberry torte I thought I'd try.

Amazon has had sales on the kindle closer to BF and even after. 2 years ago I was able to get 3 of them for my kids from lightning deals.

My younger two kids (8 & 12) have a Kindle Fire and a 3DS. They like their Kindle Fire better than the 3ds and use it more.

We had artificial until last year. We put up a real one last year and I was sick constantly. Sinus infections and strep a lot. Back to artificial for us.

My husband and I were discussing what to get the kids (8 and 12) today. He thinks one game system (ps4) for them to share and hook up to the living room tv is what they should get. I think they should each get a system (wii u & ps3), a small tv (under $100), and keep it in their room. (I don't want to share the living room tv. ) I don't think they'll share very well or like many of the same games. I can see tons of fighting and crying. I'm thinking all or nothing. I'm the one who shops, wraps, and plans so you can guess what'll happen. lol He does see my point since the younger 2 fight so much now but are still each others best friends. haha I think secretly he wants the ps4.

I know some years there are "hot" items and if seen in a store they get picked up pretty quick no matter the price. I have paid full price for video games before if they were on the top of my kids list. I could always hope to get a price adjustment or return it if I found it cheaper before Christmas.

Ring bells for Salvation Army. Homemade Christmas cards. Family picture with ugly Christmas sweaters. Holiday or winter themed puzzles. Can glue and frame them. Homemade ornaments and stringing popcorn. Volunteering.

Do you have any recommendations? I've been looking on Amazon also.

My oldest is taking a vacation in Jan. or Feb. I thought I'd get him luggage for Christmas. He said ok. So I'd like to find some from Kohls since they have 30% off right now. Any experience with Kohls luggage? He will be flying if that matters. Thanks
