  1. Thanks, I was able to order a Frozen puzzle and Frozen 3DS game for a total of $21.10 shipped. Earlier this week I ordered my kids winter boots and used Kohl's cash I had. They arrived today. Seems like Kohl's is getting quicker at shipping.
  2. Bunch of people who want more than they deserve... j/k (kinda) Mom-don't know Husband-Money Kid 1-Money and luggage Kid 2-PS4, TV, Phone (no chance for a phone lol), Kid 3-Circled most of the Fleet Farm Catalog, of course that's all we have so far Might be a gift exchange with my in-laws or buying for the little kids only. One other person-don't know yet, probably money. I usually by for myself since my husband doesn't like to shop or look for sales so he ends up paying to much.
  3. I wouldn't want to worry about losing a tablet. I've kept a list on paper and bring the ads. I bring my list in the store and that stores ad. Leave all other ads in the car.
  4. I'll probably do most online prior to Friday if items are available online. I might head out later on Friday when things die down if I need anything else.
  5. If you lose your credit card or if there's a data breach it costs you nothing but a few phone calls to fix it. If you lose cash or it's stolen you are out of luck. Debit cards are a little trickier. You're account can be wiped out and it can take time to get your money back. I will use credit cards. I try to keep $20 on me for purchases that are only a couple dollars.
  6. Will there be a separate thread for the online sale times and when they go "live"?
  7. We tried the box kits from Walgreens, I think, didn't turn out so well.
  8. Arizona from JCP have worked good so far. We did find one pair of Levi's that were long enough also.
  9. Usually it's just me. My oldest ds came with twice. My husband came with once. My husband thought all of it was crazy. My son thought I was crazy. lol
  10. Usually Thanksgiving weekend. We leave it up until mid-January usually.
  11. Still a couple weeks away for the next one. Maybe instead of competing to see who can open first they should compete on when their ad gets put out first.
  12. This was their email response to me: Thanks for asking about receiving a Toy catalog from Target. Currently, I don’t have any information on Toy catalog release. Below I have given some other ways you can receive special promotions and offers. At Target, we use a variety of methods for determining mailing lists. Here are a couple of easy things you can do to be sure to receive information on special offers from Target: Visit www.target.com and sign up for exclusive e-mail and text message offers and news. For e-mail, scroll to the bottom of the page to email exclusives and click sign up for email. For text message, type mobile coupons into search box. Apply for a REDcard to receive special bill inserts or direct mail.We appreciate hearing about ways you’re interest in our catalogs and promotions! Thanks for getting in touch Sincerely, Anthony Target.com Guest Services www.target.com
  13. I remember going to KB Toys one year. We were allowed one pass through the store because the aisles were so narrow. Everyone was given black garbage bags to load up with the toys they wanted. Was pretty organized and employees were helpful.
  14. Thanks for the suggestions. I plan to take the kids for winter boots this weekend so we'll be shopping around for pants, too.
  15. I was reading about the different systems. I don't like that some are not backwards compatible. I am leaning towards the wii u for my 8 year old. My almost 12 year old wants the ps4 now. Not the 3, only because his 20 year old brother has the 3 and he wants the newer one to be better. lol
  16. My husband has Friday's off so he can watch the kids now so I may get to go again.
  17. I usually start with the store that has the biggest bargain for the hardest to find gift on my list. Some years TRU was my first store, other years Target or even Menards.
  18. The news had a story last night about the mall opening at 6pm on Thanksgiving. "The general manager of Bay Park Square tells tenants the mall will open at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 27, and stay open for seven hours. The mall will close at 1 a.m. and open again at 6 a.m. until 10 p.m. for more Black Friday shopping." I find it odd that they will close at 1am and open in the morning again. http://www.wbay.com/story/26808611/2014/10/16/bay-park-square-to-start-black-friday-on-thanksgiving-evening
  19. I tried an online chat but they didn't have that information. He did give me an email for guest relations. I sent one yesterday but haven't heard back yet. I usually don't even get an ad with the coupons, it's just the ad.
  20. A Tweety Bird bean bag toy from Shopko. That was probably around 1996.
  21. My son is a size 10 slim when it comes to pants. I've been buying his clothes from Kohl's for a long time. The pants I bought him in August for school this year are now to short but he's still a 10 slim. The only way to get longer pants there is to go up a size but he already has the adjustable band cinched tight. Is there another brand that runs longer but still has a small waist? AE, Aero, or Old Navy maybe? Thanks ETA: He's almost 12 years old.
  22. Kindle, video games and system, books, ipod or similar, clothes, gift card to do something, 3-D puzzles, legos. I could have posted the same thing! My ds will be 12 in 2 weeks and he can't come up with any ideas for a birthday present let alone a Christmas list. lol I'm hoping once the catalogs start arriving he'll think of something.
  23. I bet my mom would like a Jelly of the month or something to do with cross stitch.
  24. Can't wait! I do a lot of Amazon shopping between now and Dec. 22.
