I saw a Christmas commercial today. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pvY6U4dkWLE Menards has Christmas decorations out. My husband was there last night and picked up a Mrs. Claus blow mold. We have a few Santa's and I wanted a Mrs. Claus for a while now. I was hoping to get through Halloween before thinking about Christmas but that didn't happen.

This whole Disney Infinity thing has me confused. lol From what I'm reading each platform plays a little different. I'm interested in the 3DS versions. I'd like for my kids to be able to share this game. They have a face book page and there seems to be lots of glitches in the games yet. I know TRU has some of the stuff on sale now and a big event planned for 9/7 but I think I'm going to hold off. If there's something wrong with what I purchase I wouldn't know for 4 months and wouldn't be able to return anything then. Plus maybe they'll have the glitches worked out and I'll have time to figure this out. I'm sure this will be on sale again or at least a good deal will come up on Amazon.

I would wait. Only because of the warranty. It'll start when it's purchased. Plus closer to Christmas there are usually better deals.

Way to early for me to think about yet. Still almost 4 months away. I have to finish back to school shopping, there are 2 birthdays to have, and Halloween. I don't stand outside in line anymore either. Crowds have gotten way out of control. I now do 99% online and might hit the stores later in the day. I've also noticed I've been able to get a better deal the closer to Christmas it gets. Not on everything but some.

I'm 99% sure I'll only do online shopping this year. Everyone has a birthday between now and then so I can't even think of what I'm looking for yet.

I did a lot of cleaning yesterday to get the new stuff put away. My husband worked on getting the tree down and put away before the animals killed it. The 2 cats and dog were terrible around it this year. Our stockings and a few other holiday items are out. I barely decorated at all this year. Just wasn't in the mood after losing my grandma this year. Only had my mom over and we didn't go to the in-laws at all. Too much family drama this year. Our tree did go up Thanksgiving weekend though so it was out for about 6 weeks.

I did something similar. One year I bought him the newest video game system he wanted along with the guitar. He opened the guitar and just looked at me. I said "Well that'll work with what you have, right?" He said no. Then he opened the new system.

Look for a fillable ornament that comes apart in the middle. There are some on Amazon but not sure if you'd get it in time. In a bag of candy if you could reseal it. Box of cereal as the prize.

I think it's the grocery shopping that always gets me. I can only shop a couple days ahead of time because some stuff needs to be fresh. My last package has arrived this morning. I'm heading to the store for a few items soon, hope the roads are clear from the storm.

The last package I'm waiting for is listed as "out for delivery" with FedEx. Need to get candy for stockings. Still need to deal with the Kindles and wrap the oldest kids stuff. He works this afternoon and my younger 2 have a 2 hour delay at school today. Roads are still bad even though it stopped snowing. Doesn't leave me much time to finish up during daytime hours. lol. I plan on grocery shopping on Sunday for all the Christmas food.

I'm waiting on 2 packages. One will arrive today. The other I ordered on 12/10 and it hasn't shipped yet. Delivery estimate said it'd be here between 12/14-12/19. This seller was through Amazon and had a 4.8 out of 5 and tons of good feed back. Now I'm doubting it'll arrive on time. My husband was home yesterday so we wrapped while the 2 younger kids were in school. Got the 2 of them done and I wrapped my husbands gifts. My oldest son was home since he didn't have to be to work until the afternoon so I still have to wrap his stuff. I have a few things that weren't wrapable so I need some gift bags. Still have to put together the gift basket of stuff for my mom. I made a meal plan for next week and printed the recipes needed. I've done the warranties through SquareTrade for everything. Set up the mp3 and 3ds. Played around with the Kindles but would like to add some stuff to them yet. I have moments where I feel like I'm way ahead then I realize what's left and wonder if I'll ever be done. lol

I was waiting for my mom to decide on a tv stand for her new tv. She finally decided so I ordered online and am having it shipped to her house. I might pick up one more thing for my DH. He mentioned his battery for the drill wasn't holding a good charge anymore. I can easily order from Sears and just pick it up. I'm waiting for one package to arrive. I do want to set up most of the electronics. Load the MP3 with songs, parental controls and load the 3 Kindles, parental controls on the 3DS, then all the wrapping. I also need to finish the SquareTrade warranties on the electronics. I have tons of laundry to get through today. Maybe I can get some of the other stuff done in between loads.
