We did some more shopping for today, picked up something for our niece. Walmart was starting to setup their Christmas stuff but not a lot out yet. My guess is by end of next week a lot will be out.

Ya I got away with not having to buy one last winter after moving back here from FL after 17 years. House wasn't finished until mid Feb, from that point on the snow was small enough to where I could do it with a shovel for the rest of the season. This year I need to buy one though. I would rather be prepared and not need it than the other way

We went into Target Saturday and the whole back wall behind the Halloween stuff was Christmas lights already setup. I didn't look around much other than that though.

I would agree Len, to me it's now about the tradition more than what we get. Our haul has been smaller the past few years but we still do get some deals here and there but all in all it's not like it used to be. I will keep doing it though as it really get's me in the mood for the season and tradition needs to continue.
