I’ve only used mine twice. Second time it was a big snow, first time I used it I could have easily shoveled but it was really cold so I wanted to get done fast lol.Supposedly getting snow tomorrow. I have yet to use the snow blower this year.

Checking in for January. Watching the last Packer game for the regular season. If we win this we will get a chance for the wild card for the playoffs. Go Pack Go!
Was a good game. I’m a Lions fan for life so a little better for us even though Seattle ended our playoff hopes just before our game started.

We just tried our Ninja Creami. Pretty darn cool. We made the banana ice cream. Came out really good. Was really simple to make and the texture is really good. It’s a tad more icy feeling on the pallet but I have a feeling that has to do with the banana in it as I remember the same thing when making banana the old fashioned way.
We are going to grab some ingredients and mix up a couple pints of ice cream and a couple pints of smoothie bowls (daughter loves them) and have it in the freezer moving forward. I really like the fact that much like how we make it in our ice cream freezer you control exactly what goes into it and how much sugar and such you use. So far a definite win.

Santa brought the whole family a Ninja Creami. First pint of ingredients went into the freezer yesterday. So today we will try out our first pint of banana ice cream.

Same here just North of you. Was like 17 this morning when I drove my daughter to school.

Christmas Eve - Work - small special seafood dinner for Hubby and me.
Christmas Day - Work - Prime rib dinner for Hubby, myself and mom with Alzheimer's which we will take to her with her gifts (which she won't remember) - this disease has taken everything from me.
New Year's Eve and Day - rinse and repeat.
The saddest holiday I have ever had.
That's not good. My grandfather was getting to that point and would have some good and some not so good days. I read the other day that they are testing a new medicine for it that's had some really good results so far. I hope this is something that can soon become a thing of the past.

What are your plans for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day?
Christmas Eve: We are going to a small gathering at my cousins house, then we will likely head back home change into PJ's grab our Hot Cocoa and then go look at lights. My wife mentioned going to Christmas services at Church but not sure what time that will be yet. Think we are doing all sorts of appetizers and pies.
Christmas Day: We are having my sister and her family over for dinner, my cousin and his family may come by later in the evening after they finish their other plans. Most likely doing Ham, Sweet Potato Casserole, Mashed Potatoes, Parmesan Broccoli, Corn Casserole, Rolls and then a bunch of cookies we are baking tomorrow.
New Years Eve: This is my anniversary so we always go out to lunch (just my wife and I), then that evening we are having some family and friends over for a NYE party. Some of them will likely end up staying over so they don't have to drive back home that night and then we can all stay up playing Cards Against Humanity later.
Thinking about either doing smoked brisket or if the amount of people isn't huge doing smoked prime rib. If we do brisket I will do cheesy potatoes and probably either baked beans or green beans and rolls. If I do prime rib I will likely make twice baked potatoes and grand marnier carrots.-

You’re welcome. We spend time there every summer. Great area.Thank you for the suggestion, I have visited the Gatlinburg area a few times when my kids were younger. The area is very nice and I don’t think the grands have been, so I will be looking more into the area. Thank you again [emoji3]

I’m done. I’m over people! Went to Kohls one day last week and there was a woman on a tirade back in the customer service the likes of which I’ve never seen from adult before. So yeah, I’m done. It is what it is. I could use one more thing for my mother but I’m not going in search of anything. I have everything either bagged up or boxed up to wrap though so that will be my weekend project!
Wish I could say nice things about many people but I was brought to if you can’t say anything nice don’t say anything.
I think society has gotten worse since Covid, people think they can say and do what they want no matter what. WRONG.
As for shopping, have to finish my wife’s presents this weekend. Was talking about it this morning.
