good to know...thank you!
No problem. I bought a desk on Amazon for like $50 it holds my printer, my printing supplies and my tools and is really stable.

Just was informed we need a small table/utility cart for DHs 3D printer. So now thats on the list
Have to watch how small. If it moves around it can mess with prints.

Ya it definitely looks like Buddy The Elf.

Home Depot has an animated reindeer and I want it SO BAD. I stand in my living room and turn in a circle trying to figure out where in the world I could fit him (my house just isn't that big). I think I'd have to take out one of the recliners or the love seat. I live alone, though, so I don't need all those seats anyway! If company comes, they can sit on the floor.
Tell them to snuggle the deer.

WooHoo, Let's go!
We are on day 3 of tornadoes in Oklahoma. Hopefully Mother Nature gets her stuff together and gives us some fall weather the rest of the month. I saw someone on Facebook post "We wanted hoodie weather, not "evacuate your hood" weather!"
That’s where you want to say go home Mother Nature, you’re drunk!

I like how easy online sales are with Target. I dislike the way their website is organized and the filter options though. Couldn't get the daily deal on furniture to come up earlier, link through site worked but then gave EVERYTHING on sale and there was no way to filter by discount and I couldn't find the appropriate type of furniture so I gave up because searching through thousands of items is not worth it.
Can’t you just type the product make and name in the search box? I don’t use Target often but that usually works on most sites.

I had hordes of marauding kids last year so I bought more this year after almost running out last year. Ended up with leftovers but far better than having to "ration" it out like I did last year to make it last. Coworkers are reaping the benefits for the next few days. lol
Ya think we are going to need another 3-4 boxes of the stuff we bought for next year. We have started doing full sized. The glee from the kids when they realize it is worth the added cost.

Well now we know we need lots more candy for next year. Ram out an hour before it was to end here lol.
-
You know on second thought if I can get ALL that stuff brand new in the box today for those prices I will take the whole ad. Should be able to make a mint on eBay.

Let’s have some of your favorite recipes for Christmas cookies, candies, cakes and so on. I love the ones handed down generation to generation.

Smoker arrived last week but didn’t get a chance to put it together last weekend. Hoping to do it this weekend so I can get a few smokes in on it before I do the turkey for thanksgiving.

Since Thanksgiving is so late in the month this year when is everyone planning to decorate for Christmas? My wife said yesterday we have to decorate before Thanksgiving so that we have more time with our Christmas decorations. We have a new house this year so have to find everything and also figure out what we are going to put where. Nice thing is all the ceilings are high so we can do bigger trees (yes plural) though with how our family room is laid out not sure we will be able to put one in there.

We weee in Michael’s last night picking up some hem tape for our daughter’s costume. Checked out the clearance section and ended up picking up 4-5 things for gifts. Got some good deals.

I'm just kind of winging it. The only thing I could think of is an outdoor movie projector. Want to look up specs to see what would work well outside.
We bought an inflatable one on Amazon. Has worked pretty well. We ended up and bought an outdoor projector stand also. Made the setup much nicer.

My favorite was a pallet we buried with a skeleton under it .
I did something like it a while back. I had a pallet, I built a lighting system and made a light show that resembled flames and fire, put it inside the pallet, put a smoke tube under that, put fake hands coming up through the openings in the pallet and then used leaves and stuff around the pallet to hide the edges and stuff. Made a small sign that said Pit To Hell.

I have bought USA made candles from these folks before.
My nest friend is a fire fighter and years ago got my wife freaked out about candles and what can happen. So now we only do the melts.
if not I would be ordering those as I love the scents.

Actually Going Out This Year!
in 2024
Posted
We will most likely go out. We are in a new place this year and my wife’s mom will be here so I’m sure they will want to go out if for nothing more than tradition.
