I returned some things this weekend and got a refund- less the Kohls cash.... No option to take a merchandise credit instead- as in the past I kept items that could have been considered the value of the Kohls cash too ... I guess this means that I will only use Kohls cash on items that I know I will be keeping - and keep that as a separate order to ensure that I get full value of my Kohls cash.... D

by the way - just because you got a 15% off code on your mailer does not mean you cannot use the 30% off code online. I use the highest % off available online - even if I got the 15% off on my mailer- it has never been a problem....

I guess that they had trouble with the Kohl's cash this time. I too did not get my 45$ Kohls cash email- and calls to CS and repeated re-sends - still did not make it appear. CS did mention that they had some system issues. the rep said that I could order and then they would take the 45$ Kohls cash off the total - which - if it is what happens- I think should be a better deal than using the Kohls cash directly...... if I recall the Kohls cash comes off the total and then the discount coupon is applied to the reduced price.... so if I get the % off first (sounds like 20% before Dec 5) then I should get "more" for my $45 Kohls cash. Anyway - considering the hoops that I have had to jump through it seems only fair....

I was able to use part value (50%) of the expired Kohls cash that I let expire (!) in the store. :) I knew it was expired but took it out at the register- then looked at it, said shoot its expired - I nicely asked the cashier if I could still use it - she said she could give me 50% of the value but not 100%. I was happy with the 50% offer way better than the "No, sorry" I thought I would get. worth trying...

I think the discount with kohls charge card only is designed to encourage more shoppers to get the card. This must be annoying if you are opposed to getting more cards. There are coupons occasionally for non card holders- usually 10 -15 % off . I have only one store card - this one (guess their marketing works). In my state you can pay a set % (30 maybe) of the balance to avoid all charges. I use this feature to avoid paying for items that I take back. I have MVP status and often am able to use the 30% off code with free shipping. I have paid no interest in the 5 years I have had the card - and the savings (both $ and time) are worthwhile for me.

The only thing that I did not see was a webcam.... of course you can just buy one separately... but looks like a great deal.
