When we go into the store each one of us have a list of what we are responsible of getting. The limited items are always first priority. Such as the laptop, camera, and the portable DVD player. We use walkie talkies and place someone at each door that we know for a fact they will be bringing pallets out of. Then we just let the others know what is coming out and where. This sounds terrible and as I am typing, I feel like I am planning some covert operation.lol

I use the flatbeds at WalMart every year and a lady tried to take one of my Hummers off of it two years ago. It shocked me and I just pushed her back and told her that they were mine.lol I would NEVER take something out of someone's cart, there are BF rules which should be followed.lol I went through so much to get the Game Cube that same year, my mom held our place in check out so that I could go back to electronics and try one more time. It would have been the first thing on my list that I had not been able to get, ever!!! I ran back there and they had just brought them out. There were only about 13 of them and about 100-150 people waiting on them. Two fist fights broke out over them. While they were fighting and trying to get security over there, I just went low and reached through the crowd and got two of them. When I got back in line, my mom had been talking to the people behind her and telling them how determined I was to get those games. The lady reached around me and tried to take one of them out of my hands, in fun. Before I could stop myself, I almost slapped the poo out of her. Then I felt bad but the incident over the Hummers was still fresh on my mind.lol She actually thought it was funny.

I love those JCPenney snowglobes. They are so cute. The first one I got by accident. I had no idea they would be giving anything away, then when I went in the door a lady handed me one.lol

Well, since my mom just has to have one, we are taking two of my kids to help out. Especially with the laptop. I will focus on it and camera while they help mom get everything else.lol

Yes, our Goody's has some pretty nice stuff on BF. If I can get out of WalMart early enough I will be sure to go there. I buy alot of my kids clothes there. I think last year some of those scratch off tickets went up to 75%. Not sure though. By the way, our's is on the same parking lot as WM, also.lol

Mom, aunt, and myself sit down and decide what each of want from different stores. Then we divide the stores. Mom and I go to some and she goes to the others. We get what she wants and she gets what we want. That is so much easier because there is no way we could make all of the stores if we didn't split them up. If any of us have out of town company who do not go to BF, we enlist them and split it up even more.lol

Depends on the weather. If it rains, mom and I only bring one umbrella so that we don't have so much to carry. I put cell phone, money, lists, and keys in fanny pack, walkie talkie on waist, and wear a light weight jacket, sweats, this year my Gottadeal shirt, and very comfortable shoes.

I can't wait to get my shirt. I have been telling everyone about this site and most of them said they would register. I hope they do, if they don't, I'm not sure I'll share my ads.lol When I said that I already have the WalMart and Radio Shack ads, they about flipped.

I'm not picky either, ANY ad will do for me. The stores we don't have here, I will shop online, so whatever!!! I do hope Big Lots comes soon, though.

I bought a really cute decorated box a few years ago at Big Lots. It has Santa on it and we use it as "the wish box". The kids are allowed to write on a piece of paper what they want and put it in the box. A couple of days before I go shopping I take all of the "wishes" out and make a list. I then put the list in my journal and it is fun to go back and read those things that I write in there. I usually write a few notes along with the list about certain items. For instance when an item is hard to find or when a fight breaks out in the store over a certain item, I write it beside the list. When the kids read all of it after Christmas, they get a laugh out of all that mommy went through to get the gifts. They think I'm crazy but each one is excited about when they get to go to BF for the first time.lol

Our CVS was 90% on the 26th last year because they had just bought out our Eckerd's. All of their decorations had Eckerds on it so it was ALL 90% off. We loaded up.

I bet it was. I usually get the ornament that Penneys has just because... and got dvd players, radios, and vcrs at Big Lots before. Hope they have a good one this year. The good part is Big Lots has one Thanksgiving Day and BF.

I know that every year JCPenney, Big Lots, and a couple more give away freebies to the first x amount of shoppers on BF. Who has the best and what do you think will be the most popular freebies this year?

I have been first in line at Hasting's Books, Music, and Video every year. They open here at 8am and it's right next door to Radio Shack. I leave WalMart by 6:15 usually, out of Radio Shack by 7:00 and in line next door. One year we saw some people about to get in line so my mom got in line first and waited while I got our stuff at Radio Shack.

Yes, I get this excited for the day after, too. I always buy extra decorations for next year. Last year I got the huge inflatables for my yard that were regularly 79.99 for 90% off. I got three of those.lol I also got alot of smaller decorations because eventually I want nothing but Christmas in every room for the holidays. If it weren't for that, no, I probably wouldn't even go the day after.

I have a lot of items from WalMart that are Durabrand and I haven't had any problems out of any of them but if the stick vac is a Eureka, it should be pretty good for that price.

I think we are going to try something different this year. We are always up at 2:30 at the latest and at WalMart by 3:00. But our store is only about two miles from my house. This year I am going to try the online items Thanksgiving night and then go to WalMart because the sale will begin an hour earlier. I am always up about 4:30am on Thanksgiving to start cooking, so I will probably be looking at very little sleep, maybe a nap, between Wednesday and Friday night. I have gone three days without sleep before but I was a lot younger then, so I am not sure how well it will work.

Yeah, I do that daily but have never done it on BF. I will try to this year though. I always use other ads at WM for groceries and things that I buy everyday. They are always great about it.

I have always gone to WM first because they have a larger number of things on their list that I am after. Then stores with fewer items that I am looking for.

I think it just depends on the store because even with the items that WM only got a few of, I was able to get two of. My youngest two sons have to have everything alike.

I always wrap myself. It is just part of the fun for me. And, I try to keep up a steady pace while I'm shopping then when I get home I can relax and start wrapping everything.

Yeah, the sewing machine will be one of my gifts to myself. Sewing is how I make my money. The one I have now is the Singer from BF two years ago at WalMart and it has been a dream. I will buy this one as a spare. And that is a good idea for the stick vacs. Then they wouldn't be dragging my good vac all over the house and banging it into doors.lol

My mom is really wanting one this year. I'm sure she will get one of the ones on sale. My son is also wanting one since he is a junior in high school and he will be going to college in the summer to get all of his basic courses out of the way. Not sure if he will get one this year or after Christmas.

I put everything in my van and cover with blankets. We have never had any problems in our town with cars getting broken into on BF. But, when I get home, if the kids are awake, they will run straight out to the van and try to look inside. So, I just take a minute or two to throw a blanket over everything.

I still like to have the actual ad in my hands, but I hardly ever even get to see the WalMart ad so it's great to at least see it early and make my list as they come out.
