Thank you for the info. That is a perfect time and day for me. Which I would have tried anytime, anyway, lol.

Same here, I will come home, wrap gifts, take a shower, put on jammies, and fall out on the couch probably watching Christmas movies. CHRISTMAS VACATION!!!!

Who will be getting the Cabbage Patch kid for $10?

I am after 4 of them 2 for my girls, 1 for myself, lol, and mom wants one. I still have my original ones from 1983! They still smell like babies. -
Everybody Loves Raymond, which they will have. I think that probably my kids favorites are Gilmore Girls, One Tree Hill, and Smallville. If they have any of those, I'll be sure to get them.

No layaways so far for me on BF. I have always been afraid that I would miss all of the other sales if I spent alot of time in a line. Our line for layaway at WalMart went across the back of the store and almost to the front last year. Some people were in line at 3am when we got there to shop and had chairs, pillows etc. in the line. I felt sorry for them. lol

I agree, lauralee, I think that this year will be great. I think the sales will be better than last year across the board. Hope so anyway.

We never know all of the titles until BF. The ones in the ad are usually just a few of the ones available. We usually get a good selection.

We just split up the stores between myself and mom, and my aunt. Aunt goes to the stores all in one area and we go to stores across the street from each other so that we can hit as many as possible. She gives us a list and we give her our list for the stores she goes to.

Usually just me and mom, and aunt. This year mom, me, and 2 of my kids, for reinforcements.lol We got extra set of walkie talkies for them, and they have their instructions already. :banana01: :banana01:

Same here. With the looks of the first ad, mom and I have enlisted the help of 2 of my kids.lol We need the reinforcements.

Mom and I always make it to WalMart about 3am, 2 this year, lol. Then we get out by 6:15 or 6:30. We made it to about 4 stores last year. Maybe more this year. We live in a small town where ALL of the shopping is close together. Thankfully we both live within 2 miles from there. About 1 mile from each other.

Our WalMart is open 24/7 so I will have to go earlier. But it is good because then outta there earlier. You are so right about missing other sales because they all start at the same time. More time, more deals.lol
-
Do you think that other stores will start their "early bird" specials earlier this year, too? I was wondering because the original hours for our WalMart were 6am til 10am. Then 6am til 11am. Now 5am til 11am? Pretty soon the early birds will last most of the day. That's great, cause it gives me more time!!! lol!!! :gd_devild

I'm not asking any questions...could be one of those "I could tell ya but then I'd have to kill ya" type of things!!! lol Just kidding. But however they work their magic, I love it!!!

Okay, now it's official...I am in love!!! This is too cool!!! Everything I was hoping for. I found love at a WalMart store!!!lol Yes their list is soooo much better than last year. You guys ROCK!!!!!

I've heard rumors, but I'm not sure. lol!!!

I picked Tuesday because I am a wrestling fan, yeah I know lol, so Monday is not good, Tuesday hubby is at class after he gets off of work, Wednesday is Apprentice MS, and Thursday is Apprentice DT, Friday is son's high school football games, and Saturday and Sunday are usually busy. But, I would try to get on ANY night to talk with all of these great people and talk about BF!!! lol
-
Brad, that's great!!! My 2 younger boys will love that. Thank you!!!
-
Well, I actually HAD a budget BEFORE I saw the WalMart ad, however, things have changed considerably. lol I am not sure if there even is a budget now.
-
Our's didn't have that model yesterday. I checked on it just to be sure. I felt like I was on some covert mission. Running around the store looking at model numbers.lol
-
Thanks for the info. I am checking it out now. With the free shipping on all of the goodies, it saves me alot more time for the items that will not be available online. Thank you so much.
-
All of them.lol
-
I would love to be able to do that but on BF our layaway line is wrapped around the building and close to the front of the store. At our WalMart, that is. I would be afraid that I would lose too much time and not be able to get the items that are not available ahead of time. lol

Our Big Lots gets really busy, but you are so right about WalMart! Our's had the cops to come out last year to guard those small appliances, lol. They didn't bring them out until about 6:30 and everyone was mad. The GameCubes started two fights here, the Furbys started a couple, and a few years ago I remember 3 fights over those little Razor Scooters. I always get those items because while everyone is fighting over them, I just reach in and get a couple. lol I guess it just depends on how you look at it, the fights could be a good thing if you play it right. I know, that's bad I shouldn't say that, so, I'm sorry for everyone who has gotten into a fight on BF. I did have a lady try to take my Hummers off of my cart a couple of years ago, but, I stopped that. Have never had a fight over it though.lol:2football
