I only go to Radio Shack on BF. It is in the middle of our shopping center and I pass by it every time I go there but only go in on BF. There have been several times I buy things not on my BF list just because when I see them in the store they look like a good buy for the sale price. For example, I had no intention of buying the vacuum cleaner last year, but changed my mind when I saw it and use it all of the time.

I haven't because I wrap them as soon as I get them or I would forget everything. My mom buys stuff every year after Christmas to put up for next Christmas and always forgets about it. This summer I was helping her go through all of the boxes and bags in her two spare bedrooms, we found so many presents she won't have to buy much this year.lol

Our's were prepackaged. But not sure about everywhere else. They were games like CandyLand/Chutes and Ladders in a package and so on...Usually two games for the same age group in each package.

First of all, Welcome!!! I have found that most WalMarts are different. Some let you put BF items on layaway and some do not. The one I shop at here in Paris does, however, the one my sister shops at in Houston does not let them put everything on layaway. Some of the items, but not all. I have asked about it, but have never put those things on layaway because our line is too long on BF. If I were you, I would ask at the store you plan on shopping at that day and see what they say about it. Our's is a 24 hour store that does not close on Thanksgiving but I have learned since being here that some 24 hour stores in different cities do. Should probably ask just to be safe.

I am so glad that this site had these two ads first. The waiting on the first ad was getting terrible. But, I won't go to any of the other sites because I trust this site and love it here. I am comfortable here so here is where I stay. I have never even seen the other sites. Last year I came across this one but never posted. I love this!!! It's getting closer, and closer, and closer...

Last year the games that our WalMart got were pretty random. I hope I can find out all of the games included this year before I waste time trying to get to them and finding out I don't even want them.lol

Yeah, I've been "nutty" all of my life, but mom and I tend to get quite a bit "nuttier" the closer to BF we get. We talk about it all year long. But, since the two of us are Christmas "nuts", the first burst of cold air has us ready to put up decorations and all. By the way, it's 46 degrees here today, so I'll be looking at decorations this afternoon and seeing what will be going where. Hubby and kids just want me to wait til after Halloween.

I bought these same ones 2 years ago for my 2 youngest sons. I would NEVER buy them again!!! Well, maybe the Jeep. They were good for the price, but they tore up my heels and feet with those things. I suffered more for those than anything else. And before I could get them to the checkout, people were trying to take them off of my flatbed. I'm not sure why I am even considering those again.lol

Not sure about that but it would create alot of pissed consumers who have their money ready to spend. Seems they wouldn't want to take the chance of making people so mad that close to a BIG spending season. I know I for one, would be irrate!!!!!!!

Actually my 11 year old has been drafted to help out with the shopping on BF. So, who knows, before it gets here, I may be taking them!!!

I have an HP scanner/printer/copier with a pictbridge. Will that work the same?

Not sure, but I got the bagless vac last year on BF at WalMart, I think I paid $40.00 for it. It has been great, but it was Eureka. Not so sure about these, but even if they are cheap brand, they may be ok for my shop.

Is that going to be important for what I am going to use it for?

Mostly print. I have 5 kids who are very active in school activities. Parades, family gatherings and for loading pics on my computer for website. BTW, thanks for helping...

Thanks Cami, I will have to go out there tomorrow and see what we have on sale. I would like to have Friends, too. Son and I LOVE that show.

I am not very smart on these cameras but I definitely want one. I noticed that WalMart and Radio Shack both have digital cameras for under $100.00 for BF. Which one is best?

I am pleased with the ad only because my kids are older now. The youngest 2 are 7 and 9 but are into video and computer games so they don't ask for many toys anyway. I do see your point, if I were looking for toys for them I would be upset. Our family are electronic nuts so it's good for us. Maybe the other ads will make up what this one left off.lol

They should considering how much we spend in them on BF.lol Our WalMart has a cafe inside and they don't even open it during the morning on BF so coffee and hot drinks are out of the question for us until we get to our third store. Hastings has a cafe and they have the BEST white chocolate mochaccinos. They have become a tradition for us on BF. lol

Thanks for the list. I always go to RS after WM on BF. I get some cool stocking stuffers there for the kids. Although I used to buy my holiday batteries there, but I believe WM has a better deal on batteries this year.

I did every year when we had a KMart. Ours closed a few years ago and there are none anywhere near us now, I miss them. I like buying the Marta Stewart stuff for the house.

Now that WM and Radio Shack have been posted I hope that Big Lots is coming soon. I go to their Thanksgiving Day sale, too.

Boxes for everything. The kids looked in all of the bags when I tried them one year.

Our WM layaway line on BF is worse than the check outs, so I think it's just better if I don't mess with it because there are other stores I go to when I leave there.

There's just so much on the list that I am thinking about trying to get. I guess I'll wait til then and see what I can get, then pick a favorite.lol

Our WM is open 24 hours and it doesn't close before the sale. So, for us, the best thing is to go and wait by what we want.
