http://pics.drugstore.com/prodimg/26419/200.jpg this works so good. it doesnt leave you with powdery pits, the lable claims you can skip a day... i like the unscented gel it never fails me ever.
  3. I see a slight ad in my newspaper that says : 50% off All coats All sweaters All fall and winter outerwear other great items at 50% off see store for details is what the ad says. it says extended holiday hours 6am to 11pm, sale is december 1 thru saturday december 3
  4. Shortbread Cookies I got this recipe from a friend and tried it the other day. It is the best shortbread/butter cookie recipe i ever made. I used my mixer on it too instead of following the directions to do it by hand. i only mixed till the dough started to form then i finished it by hand. i put a nice walnut half ontop of each one. I'm told these taste even better when aged for about three weeks. i'm trying to hide a tin of them from the family so i can find out. kathy Shortbread Cookies INGREDIENTS: 1 1/2 cups butter, softened 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 cup confectioners' sugar 1 cup cornstarch 1/4 teaspoon salt DIRECTIONS: 1. Work all the ingredients together with your hands until blended. Shape all of the dough into 1 inch balls 2. Bake cookies on ungreased cookie sheets, 2 inches apart at 300 degrees F (150 degrees C) for 20 minutes. 3. Let cool 10 minutes then carefully lift with spatula to cake racks to cool. Store in air tight container with wax paper between layers. Cookies keep well. 4. Variations: Flatten some balls with tines of fork and press 1/4 of a red or green glace cherry in center of each. Make thumbprint indentation in some balls and fill with a tiny bit of jam, jelly or marmalade. Dip some balls in slightly beaten egg white and roll in finely chopped walnuts. Bake as they are or make an indentation in top and spoon in a little jam or marmalade. Dip some balls in egg white and roll in desiccated coconut. Bake as they are or make an indentation and spoon in a little jam, jelly or marmalade.
  5. If you go in the crockpot section in the stores there is usually a sample of each set up for you to look over. thats what i would do check them out. i was excited when walmart had the 2 quart ones for BF till i went in the crock isle and saw how big a 2 QT one is..tiny so use your eyes to choose. i would say you need 4 or 5 Quarts and up one. kathy
  6. happened to me with the mp3 players.. i ordered 3 the night before thanksgiving with the BF sale price. they led me to believe i was all set. then saturday i got an email stating i'm getting 2 only.. i could have gotten it in the store. i will never do BF shopping online again.. to risky. i did get my hands on one at walmart on sunday for the same BFsale price. look along top shelves you might find one left over . sorry for your loss on the dvd player. kathy
  7. lottery tickets in a card, movie theater tickets in a card, coffee shop coupon tickets in a card. i think movie theater tickets are great for young and old. under ten bucks each you can't go wrong. kathy
  8. I noticed one good thing the ad says they hold up to 500 songs but when i got the player it says it holds 1000 songs:) I'm not sure if it matters to anyone who bought one but i also noticed it says for windows XP only . im bummed about that because the kids computer is windows millenium..so it looks like they will be on my computer more than i want them to be:( kathy
  9. I got one of the mp3 players yesterday for the 99.99 black friday price. i was so happy. kathy
  10. My daughter caled me first thing this morning to tell me she saw the same mp3 players from black friday still at walmart so i got over there and sure enough she was right. i got one and it was the same price as the BF door buster sale. they had about 13 of them. they were on the top shelf in the stereo/cd player isle. walmart.com only let me get 2 then cancelled my third one but didnt notify me until saterday. im ticked off to see them on the website for $129.00 today.. i will never trust BF online shopping again after this. but i'm happy i got the cancelled one today at the store itself. kathy

  13. i got one over at walmart using the linens and things ad to pricematch for $39.99 yesterday. it was the hit of my shopping trip. this toy looks very cool. i googled earlier today and found a good site that shows different shows/news clips with it in action. it was good to see because although it looked cool i realy wasnt sure how it works. i posted the link in the other thread about price matching (PM) if anyone is interested to see it working. kathy
