Just saw the first camper of the season at Best Buy in Fort Myers Florida.

My first year here in south Florida I was in line at ToysRus at 11pm on Turkey Day. I was 8th in line and we had so much fun. I brought my laptop and lawn chair and we all sat around watching movies. Then my Hubby brought us fresh coffee and donuts at 3am!! It was one of my best black fridays so far.

1. In your opinion, what store had the best Black Friday ad last year (2008) and why? For me it was Target, I was able to get the dual Guitar Hero Game for cheap 2. What would be your #1 piece of advice to someone totally new to Black Friday? Use Gotta Deal. Out of all the Black Friday Sites I have been too this one by far is the best. I especially LOVE the Shopping list feature that allows me to pick the items I am looking for a print the list. It makes it soooo easy to get the things you want. 3. Besides offering great deals, what else can a store do to get you to shop there on BF? Have a great Customer Service. Nothing turns me off more from a store then rude workers or workers that aren't willing to help.

Does anyone who have the ads now if there is a barbie or princess 16" bike in any of the ads?? It is the last item I need to buy and I am waiting for it to go on sale! :)

My parents live way up north and I live in South Florida, so I have her send me the money that she is wanting to spend and I go black friday shopping for my kids from her. It is so much cheaper then buying them up there and shipping them here. AND she hates black friday shopping!!! I know I can't believe it either!!! Anyone else have relatives do this??

I think I have the smallest list this year.. DH DS (15) DS (9) DD (5) DD (4) Niece (2) DONE Nephew (5) DONE Grandpa Mom (Done) Dad My girls are done toy wise they just need thier bikes.

When did Walmart come out last year or shell I say the "supposed" walmart ad? I know it was kinda floating then with the legal stuff it didn't come out offically til the week of. I was just curious! :)

This has been a tradition for me for about 10 years now!!! I love it. I don't always buy alot of stuff but there is usually a few really good deals to be had. I usually only go to Kmart but I have heard of other stores that do Turkey Day sales too!!!

The other reason I think less is because last year Walmart sales for BF were way below projected numbers. Mostly because of the bad press it got from the legal actions against BF sites. I think that the other stores had better numbers so they don't want to do anything to rock the boat, not with so many people that are financially strained at this point. JMHO! :)
