  1. Cash only. That way I don't get carried away and charge too much. I get really excited and don't think too clearly so if I even took the debit card I would spend too much. If I take cash only, I know my limits and can't go over them.

    Weather?

It's always cold here but that just makes it better. I don't think I could get up that early and stay awake if it were warm, lol.
  3. My mom calls to wake me up at 2:30, we are off to Wally World at 3:00, out of there and at Radio Shack by 6:30, then a few more stores. We meet up with my aunt, who goes to other stores and get things for us, at Denny's for breakfast. I am usually home by 11 or 12. Wrap my gifts, and take a much needed nap.
  4. I wish I had it in me to boycott Wal-Mart, but I just love shopping there. I am there on almost a daily basis throughout the year and never have any problems. But, every year on BF there is this horrid old HAG who comes to the register WHEREVER I am in line. She has to be Satan's Mommy, lol, she is the rudest creature I have ever encountered. That's the only day of the year that I see her, I think she works in one of the offices and just checks on that day. She has been there for over 30 years so the managers ignore how rude she is. However, this year I have decided that if she gets in my line, I will give her a piece of my mind no matter how long it holds up the line!!!
  5. My kids are getting older but my youngest two, 7&9, still like toys. I always get really good deals on the older one's gifts too. Wal-Mart always has a stereo, DVD player, or a video game on sale for Bf. That helps alot!!!
  6. I can't wait!!! It's killing me. My birthday is October 27th, then all of the great sales, and Christmas!!! I know you probably won't believe this but I am a 34 year old wife and mother of 5!!!lol:holiday08
  7. I got our's 4 years ago at our K-Mart when they were going out of business. It is an 8 ft. tree, reg. 199.99, I got it for 17.00!!! We absolutely love it. It is beautiful and is so easy to put up and take down. I would recommend them to anyone who doesn't like untangling lights.
  8. I always leave mine up until New Year's Day. My youngest daughter's birthday is Christmas Eve and my husband's birthday is the 26th of December. We always have birthday parties for them seperate from all of the Christmas festivities. "Can't wait!!!"
  9. OMG!!! This is so much fun! I am a Christmas nut. In our family I am referred to as "Clark" (as in Griswald). I am constantly trying to do more decorating. Growing up we put our tree up the day after Thanksgiving, however, as my enthusiasm has grown, I started putting it up earlier every year. Now my husband and kids just ask that I wait until after Halloween. I do the yard, trees, house, and all. I love BF, it's a "tradition" for my mother and me. While our husbands are watching the big game after dinner, we plan our trip. We usually start at 3:00 am because our Wal-Mart is open 24 hours.
