  1. Found this for $4.99 today! http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/517u%2B5WqptL._AA300_.jpg They had a lot of electronics type accessories/cords/headphones, etc. for 90% off. (Amazon is currently selling this clock for $39.99.)
  2. They had a lot of x box games, but I didn't look at the prices on any of them... sorry.
  3. YA, totally. It's the lines that wrap around the building twice at 4 a.m. that drive retailers to open earlier and earlier. Doesn't really bother me. If I do any shopping at all on Friday, it's around 7 or 8 a.m. after a refreshing nights sleep. If having people shopping at midnight helps alleviate the morning crowds, that's fine with me. (As long as the store is able to replenish some stock for us "sleeper-iners" LOL!!) As far as cashiers, it is a bit sad. However, I would bet that there are many who would welcome the hours to earn some coin. Wouldn't you suppose that would be worthy of an overtime or "extra" bonus pay???
  4. Also, found a few games at 75% off ### Wii Endless Ocean 207 26 0565 ($29.99 down to $7.48) ### Wii Final Fantasy The Crystal Bearers 207 26 0556 ($29.99 down to $9.98) ### Wii Green Day Rockband 207 26 0606 ($29.99 down to $7.48) ### Playstation 3 Guitar Hero 5 207 24 0284 ($39.99 down to $19.99) ### Playstation NHL10 207 24 0266 ($29.99 down to $14.98) Most all of these are for my nephews. Some may go back. I have to talk to my sister to find out what will work I guess.
  5. Also saw the White Wiis on clearance today... Oak Park had 6 of them along with Wii Truth or Lies (regular $39.99 down to $9.99). Does anyone know anything about this game? Is it lame? It's a gift for a 13 year old... http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51YzShwGE5L._AA300_.jpg
  6. Oh thank you, thank you everyone for responding about the DSi. And now, I will shut up about them cause I know we aren't really supposed to be focused on them HERE.
  7. Returned my shuffle today without any problems. Discovered that I need the Nano to work properly in my truck. Guess I will have to head out and pick one up on crazy friday. They also had several of the white DSis, so I grabbed one just so that I have it. LOL. In a perfect world, my dd would probably like turquoise, but once it goes into that Nerf case I bought, will you really even be able to see the color very much unless its opened? Don't know about the skins people were talking about. Can you use those AND use the Nerf case too? That's seems to be a good price without the hassle of lines. In the Target 4-day ad, it describes the DSi as having TWO cameras. I can't see anything on the box that talks about TWO cameras. They aren't going to come out with some kind of special/different one for Sunday, are they?? It rang up as $149.99, which is what the ad said its original price is. Guess I will just have to go in on Sunday to see....
  8. Does anyone have any experience returning iPods to Target? I just bought an iPod shuffle on Monday to keep in my truck. However, it isn't working with the USB interface. I've been working with the dealership on how to get it going, but it's not looking promising. I really don't need a shuffle. I just wanted something small to keep in my truck. Does anyone know if Target's return policy is the same on electronics? Are they going to charge a restocking fee?? I just thought I would ask here first so that I knew what to expect when I go in to return it. (IF I return it.) I've never returned used electronics before.
  9. The 4 day ad for those who haven't seen it: http://blackfriday.gottadeal.com/TargetPreBlackFriday
  10. Has anyone heard what Nebraska Furniture Mart might be doing??
  11. I don't mean to turn this into a DSi thread... however, Target's ad for this Sunday was posted online and has highlighted "4-day pre-Thanksgiving specials"... anyway, one of them is a WHITE DSi for $119.00. I'm trying not to be color picky, but white??? I dunno 'bout that color...
  12. If I remember correctly... the DS Lites from last year were listed on the front page of Walmart's Black Friday ad. It said doorbusters at the top 5-11, yada, yada... and the DS Lites were pictured at the bottom of the page. I'm quite certain they were intended to be a doorbuster. Anyway, my point is that nobody blinked an eye when I asked for a price match, so even though it may be a long shot and I understand that some CS employees may decline your request, ya never know... guess it depends on how badly you DON'T want to do Walmart! LOL
  13. Thanks! That is kind of what I was thinking. We have all larger Samsung,s and we want one for our exercise room. I'm more of a name brand buyer and in some cases I know I shouldn't pay so much attention to that. However, with a t.v., they can be a pain to get rid of, so I'd like to get one that will last!
  14. So, my biggest question is: Would it be better to get an off-brand television (Apex, Dynex??, Vizio) (46-47") for (what appears to be) around the $500 price range? OR is it better to get a more name brand t.v. for a bit more money? I don't know a lot about t.v.s. I know that many stores are selling t.v.s really cheap, but the really, really inexpensive sets appear to be the off-brand names. (Or, at least names that I'm not really familiar with.) Does it matter? Are these good t.v.s? Is it better to spend a bit more and get a Sony or Samsung or a more recognizable brand? I suppose it depends on what you will use it for?? (primiary t.v. vs. something that will just be used every so often??) Any input from a t.v. expert(s)??! :) (We are looking specifically for something in the 46-47" range.)
  15. So, the Walmart BF ad is just posted... Lovetoshop... Nintendo DS lites are $89. I too am a Walmart *hater* (such a strong word). Anyway, last year, when they had them for $97, I was able to easily price match them at Target. The Walmart ad was color specific, but the CS person I dealt with at Target did not care. I was able to get the color I wanted at that Walmart price without any problems. You may give it a try! That's a good price, isn't it?
  16. Are these decent t.v.s or is this a case of 'you get what you pay for?' It's nice deal, but I've never heard of this brand before. Anyone have any reviews for it?
  17. Those are 19.99 regular price? I saw them at CVS Pharmacy for $12.99 and I always thought CVS marked toys on the high side.
  18. Could it be that we all just have EVERYTHING we could possibly need from shopping Target clearance?? !!!!
  19. Thanks for the pics of the DS mom2monkies! I haven't seen them together. We just haven't bought a lot of electronics for our kids yet, so THAT, combined with the fact that this is our oldest daughter, and I'm learning that the longer you can keep the oldest one "clueless" about things, the easier it is for the younger ones NOT to start begging for something that they are too young for!! LOL.... Anyway, her cousin has the one with the camera, and that is the only reason she thinks she needs a new one with a camera. I am glad to have the regular DS even though it's only a year old... it was cheap and is something good for our middle and youngest daughters to "cut their teeth on" (hopefully the technology won't be completely outdated in 2-3 years!!) We got some old gameboy discs from cousins, and they will work on that model as well. Our 7 year old is just starting to play around with the DS Lite now. I don't understand why there aren't more better deals out there on the DSi. If Nintendo was selling so many of the XL ones, you would think they wouldn't be the models that are always in the store ads with special prices. ??? I don't know... not sure what we will do yet. I haven't heard my daughter beg for it in awhile, so we'll see what the prices end up being closer to Christmas I guess!!! :) We definitely aren't the family who needs the latest and greatest in kids electronics for sure, so unless it becomes some kind of incredible WISH of hers to have a certain one, color most likely won't be a big deal. I usually make my kids give me a few color options so I'm not adding to my holiday stress level trying to get some particular color that only came on 50 machines around the nation!! LOL!
  20. We got the regular DS last Christmas for my daughter specifically so she could use the old Gameboy Advance games. Got it at Target through a Walmart ad price match on (or around) Black Friday for $97. THis was our first foray into the world of Ninetendo DS. This year, she wants a new one... the DSi. I haven't heard great things about the DS with the XL screen so I've been steering her away from it. Many I've talked to say it is too big to make a nice portable unit. I dunno nothin' about them. I just try to ask around and/or read reviews when I'm about to plunge money into an expensive piece of electronics... LOL So, I was bummed that Target didn't have a Black Friday special on the DSi. It seems that a lot of the advertised sales on these things are only for the DSi XL, not the DSi regular size. I've been watching since this summer and it just seems that the XL size is the size they want to put on sale.
  21. Not much other than perhaps those portable RCA DVD players... but only because we are in the market for a couple. The portable ones I bought on clearance 6 years ago finally bit it.
  22. Target's Black Friday Ad is up: http://blackfriday.gottadeal.com/
  23. Got a $5 off $15 coupon the other day at CVS. So I went today to buy some soda that's on sale. Anyway, they had an endcap with a whole bunch of Pantene shampoo for 90% off ...49cents... and they had $1 peelies on them. So, I figure that they won't take the peelies since it's for more than the stuff costs. I left all the peelies on the bottles. The cashier takes them all off and gives me $7 off 7 bottles of shampoo that only cost me $3.50. That helped cheapen my soda!! All in all I got 7 bottles of Pantene 5 tubes of Blistex (also 90% off ...33 cents ea) 4 12 packs of diet coke a pack of stray rubbermaid containers that were also 90% off (59 cents) ... total cost for all of it was $5.99 (I had a $5 off $15 purchase; I got $7 in coupons)--- oh, and it generated me $3 extra bucks for the coke. LOL. I think the guy at the register was scratching his head like how the heck did THAT happen. He was nice though. None of the 90% off stuff scanned until it applied my CVS card. (Does that mean that customers who don't have a rewards card don't get to take advantage of the 90% off stuff??) That trip has to rank right up there as one of the best values ever!
  24. OMG, that's 200 bags of candy! Guess she must have some kind of a sweet tooth...
  25. Saw the juke box that plays the ipod in 2 stores for 75% off; also saw one old fashion looking radio that plays an ipod by the same maker as the jukebox; and lots of larger size ipod speaker/players down to $24.99 from 99.99. Not any of the smaller sized ones though, which is what I was hoping to see. Those were still at 50% off. Found a leapster game for $6.24... some kind of monster creator (I think.) Ticketed at $12.xx, but scanned at 6.xx. There is another one hanging out in the toy aisle! (Speedway store!)
