  1. If there is something that I want to purchase from Walmart online and it is part of a sale that starts at 8 p.m. Thanksgiving night, when exactly do I log in ONLINE to Walmart to get that same deal that is in the stores? Or can I even do that? I live in the central time zone. Does that matter? Any help would be appreciated!
  2. YES... I was after ONE thing... my plain hershey bar snack size and they are never easy to find after clearance. Even though they were only 30% off of $4.99 (jumbo bags), I used the $2 off 2 TARGET coupon that expires tomorrow and a $2 off 2 manufacturer coupon that I had. So, I was happy with $1.49 for a $5 jumbo bag of my favorite chocolate, which based on past experience seems to be very hard to find after they hit 50%. Anymore, I have better luck with candy at other stores and with the right coupons paired with the right sale, they can even be cheaper BEFORE the holiday.
  3. It all used to go 90. It was wild cause this was when Target (at least around here) had aisles full of stuff at 90% off and bags of the 'good' candy for 30 cents. I haven't seen most candy go 90 in at least 2-3 years though.
  4. I have another question about the Extra Bucks and how to understand the 'balance' explanations on the bottom of the receipt. So, I went in today and did the Hershey's spend $10, get $3. I got the extra bucks just fine, but at the bottom of my receipt it says Amount toward this reward: $13.50 (which is what I spent at the register today on the candy). Underneath that line, it says, Amount Needed to Earn Reward: $10. I thought the add says that you could only get the extra buck deal once. Am I understanding that incorrectly? Based on what my receipt is showing me, I could go back and spend another $10 and get the $3 again. That doesn't sound right though??? There is also balance information for the Nexxus deal (spend 20/get 10) and the Procter and Gamble deal (spend 30/get 10). But again, I thought I could only do that once and I've already done those extra buck deals. Am I understanding it wrong?
  5. Isn't it almost time for all the college RE stuff to go really cheap? Has anyone been following that schedule? Do you happen to know if that gets marked?
  6. Yes, thanks. That is nice especially since some manufacturers are limiting coupons in one transaction!
  7. Question for those who are expert CVS shoppers... when an item is offering extra bucks rewards (ie, spend $20 on a certain brand and get $10 extrabucks back), does that $20 HAVE to spent in one transaction or can I go in one day, spend $10 and then go in a day later and spend $10 more and get the extrabucks after the second transaction? Is it cumulative as long as it's within the same time period as the ad? Thanks!
  8. They were marking all school supplies today at ST Blue Valley Pkwy, ST State Line Road and Ward Pkwy... nothing too exciting though. At least nothing that I was hoping to find.
  9. Might make for some interesting clearance finds after the holidays this year! (or be another Missoni mess) http://fashionista.com/2012/07/target-neiman-marcus-and-24-cfda-designers-team-up-for-epic-collaboration/
  10. As I was putting it away, I noticed that my Tide detergent, not just the bleach, was 55% off... I thought that was kind of strange!
  11. The Oak Park Target has all kinds of Tide dry detergent, Boost tablets, Gain detergent, and Clorox bleach for 50% off. I usually prefer to use the liquid Tide, but for 1/2 price plus lots of coupons, I picked up a couple of the boxes of tide. A lot of the Tide is for the high efficiency machines in case that matters to you. The Clorox (TONS of it) was 55% off... weird.
  12. I just got another 30% off yesterday. That came within 2 weeks of the last one! ?? And they gave me a 20% off e-mail LAST WEEK. I dunno what their rationale is. We did just have a Walgreens open up fairly close to me, so maybe they target zip codes based on competition moving in?? I'm totally guessing, but CVS has had a ton of promotional stuff lately... full page color ads in the newspaper with $5/$20 purchases on top of these e-mails that I'm receiving...2-3 of those within the last month. This 30% that I just got is going to waste. I don't need anything except Diet Coke and 30% off full retail at CVS on their coke products isn't a good deal.
  13. I just got one of those 30% off coupons last week and you are right, it is rather limiting. Many times I don't even end up using them, but if there is anything that you need that simply has extra bucks attached to it... no discounts, just extra care bucks with a purchase... I'm *pretty sure* that the 30% off coupon works on that stuff. It was hard for me to tell which items exactly were affected by the 30% discount since the receipt just shows a lump sum discount at the bottom, but I *think* it did take it off my Nivea lotion (which was full price, but had a $5 extra buck with a $10 purchase.) Since my lotion was $10.99, I'm almost positive that it took 30% off of the $10.99 PLUS gave me back $5 extra bucks (which is almost 1/2 the cost of the lotion), so I thought that was pretty good--plus I had a manufacturers coupon too. And MOST IMPORTANTLY, I needed the lotion!! I really don't like the 25/30% coupons that come out. I prefer the $4/$20 since you can use those on clearance, sale or ANYTHING. I just got one of those today via e-mail!!
  14. Does anyone know if the 30% off coupons that come across e-mails are only good for ONE time or is that available on my card to use until the expiration date? All the e-mail says is available through Sunday 6/17. It doesn't say anything about a one time use... just curious if anyone might know??
  15. I really didn't expect them to take the coupons either and I was kind of dizzy about which ones would actually be the best to use-- too many!!! My brain was in overload, so I just threw them all in and figured they tell me what they couldn't take. They did have to push through the $5/$20.
  16. I went in to use all the coupons that CVS has been sending not even sure if half of them would work together! LOL I had kind of a fun trip with a pre coupon total of over $36 and an after coupon total of $7.78 (PLUS $8 in extra care bucks after I checked out!) 1 nestle water $2.88 4 father's day cards $13.26 1 nivea BONUS size firming lotion (WHICH I LOVE) $10.99 2 skintimate cream shaving lotions $7.58 1 q tips (on clearance for 1/2 price and basically a filler to get to $20 in beauty total) $1.89 $36.60 total LESS: $3.79 off on the shaving lotion (BOGO manuf) $2.00 (manuf) off on the nivea $4/$20 beauty product CVS coupon $2.50 CVS coup (B3/get 1 on the cards) $4 extra care bucks from previous purchase last week $5/$20 CVS coupon from newspaper $7.53 off from 30% off coupon (I don't know how the register calculated this?! It was just on my card and they automatically put it in). Total was $7.78 after coupons! ... and I got $3 extra care bucks for purchasing the hallmark cards... and $5 extra care bucks for purchasing the nivea. The best part is that I totally needed everything I found there, which is the one reason I dislike CVS-- too many times I end up buying some overpriced fill in item because I tell myself I should use some coupon that requires it!
  17. big coupon push from CVS here too... got the coke deal last week; got the nestle H20 deal this week... plus got a 30% off total purchase in an e-mail this morning too!
  18. Wondering if there are any CVS experts who can offer any insight into the 20 or 25% off coupons that are occasionally e-mailed out. It seems to me that these don't offer all that much of a deal. Am I just not using them to my advantage? They can't be used on anything in that week's circular, right? So, basically it's 25% off a regular priced item in their store. I just wonder how others are using these? To me, there is very little at CVS that I would consider to be a good price... even at 25% off regular retail... or IS there? The $4 off $20 that come through occasionally seem like a much better deal since you can use those on ANYTHING. I've been curious about this for awhile and was in there last week to buy mother's day cards. The 25% off wouldn't work on the cards because I was using an extra care card coupon that was a buy 2 can 1 free. TIA!
  19. Bodega creamy Jif for 1/2 price... waa hoo. That seems to be about as good as it gets for clearance 'round here
  20. $8.98 down from $29.99... pink and blue colors http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/31ienZdvC-L._SL500_AA300_.jpg
  21. Got this today for $29.xx (down from $99): http://img2.targetimg2.com/wcsstore/TargetSAS//img/p/12/91/12914850.jpg ... at the Blue Valley ST. I picked up 2. There were still THREE left. (It's an outdoor tabletop heater in case someone was wondering... for decks, etc...)
  22. The thing with most of us crazy Target shoppers... whether or not we actually NEED something at the time is never a reason to pass something up especially if it's a good price LOL
  23. I'm not entirely sure, but they usually run through Saturday. Ya know, sometimes if you have a nice sales clerk, I've had them go in the back and find Uggs for me that were never out on the floor. I just say, "you don't happen to have any sale uggs in size (whatever), do you?" If you get the right personality and they aren't super busy at the time, sometimes they will go back and find some strays. Doesn't hurt to ask! Those uggs with the sweater insert were the ones on display, and so once I took those, unless someone went back and replaced the display, who knows if there were more sizes in the back?!! The clerks get busy with these xtra % off sales and sometimes they just don't get the boots out. Also, just because they weren't there on day 1 doesn't mean they won't show up on day 2! I've seen tables of stuff come out as the sale goes on. HTH!
  24. Found this today for $23.xx-- down from $70-- Radio Flyer Tailspin: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41tY603ILLL._SL500_AA300_.jpg
