  1. I did this too since the ONLY thing I really wanted for my daughter was an iPod. As near as I can tell on my receipt, IF by some strange reason, there is an iPod left when I make my way to the Target store (which will be during normal morning hours and not midnight or 4 a.m.), it appears as though I will NOT loose the $15/$150 giftcard. It just rang up as a $15 giftcard purchase with a $15 deduction at the bottom of my receipt. So, IF I end up returning the one I bought today, (unless customer service gives me a hard time), the only thing I will have to surrender is the $20 giftcard. BUT, if I am lucky enough to find one at 7 or 8 a.m. on Friday morning and I get a $40 giftcard; I will not have any trouble giving back my $20 giftcard!!! At least this way, if there aren't any left then I have one. I decided that my sleep is way more valuable to me than $20. :)
  2. hehehehe.... i was waaayyyy out south today so never got up by mission or ward. the chips are gone. i didn't look at much in the halloween aisle except with my jaw dropped to the floor in olathe when i saw all that candy. Did they not sell ANY at Halloween time?? didn't touch any costumes, but lots of mommys were loading up! I remember the days when i stockpiled my 3 daughters' dress up closet with those princess dresses when they went 90%. i still have one wearing some, but she is about done i actually was kind of surprised with the whole tissue deal. I thought target had gotten much more careful about it's holiday household goods/paper products going out the door for practically free.
  3. Sarasuzy, every store I went to had those lego things up by the register-- and lots of them. They all rang up 39 cents. If you happen to be near a different store, you might be able to find a Star Wars pack??
  4. They have that boo berry cartoonish guy (ghost??) on the front. There is a pink box and a blue box. Found scads of those in the regular aisle too, but to me those look disgusting. I got a couple for the kids, but not that many. There were tons left... 26 cents each.
  5. Now I don't feel so bad! We can join the "Tissue Hoarders" reality show together:)) I found 27 boxes and yes, I took them all. I'm sorry but with 3 kids who dust their noses with one and then throw it away or better yet, use 1/2 box to wipe up a spill, tissues at 90% off are not safe from me!! Don't even get me started on how many boxes I have to deliver with them on the first day of school!! They were just on an end cap with a sign that said 15% off, but they weren't stickered.. There was a 50cent coupon in yesterday's paper too, so 5 were FREE! Found lots of Planters goodies in the regular aisle too... regular $5.99 and got them for 59cents. Not only is the chipolte mix on sale but there are some honey roasted almonds on sale as well. If anyone in this area is in need of candy, Olathe on 151st st. has SICK amounts of candy left. THREE FULL AISLES and I don't mean scattered here and there. SOlidly packed with candy... all kinds. Chocolate too. Gigantic bags, little bags. YOu name it, trust me, they have it. I even found some plain hershey bars, which are never to be found for me when the candy goes this cheap. Nobody ever went to the stateline store to claim those 22 count frito packs, so there they were in the chip aisle. 69cents each.
  6. This is just a guess, but I think I may have info that would help figure out if your zooble packs are different looking 'characters'. If you look at the UPC from the BOX, not the sticker that Target put over it (cause the dpci is the same on all boxes). Anyway, there is a number that begins with 2004 and then has a series of numbers after it. So far out of the 8 boxes that I have found, my numbers on some of the boxes are different and some the same. 6596 6597 6598 6599 6601... maybe someone who has opened some could shed light on my guess, but possibly that is how you can tell if you have the same ones or different ones???
  7. On way to gym class... Stateline super t... Halloween tissues in regular aisle...a TON. Took What I needed, but lOts left. Frito bags 2.09! Still 3 bags when I left. Tissues are 70 percent off. Some aren't Even Halloween... Look for Laura Ashly tissues. Mac and cheese 36 cents a box. Even Found Oreos... Only 2 though.
  8. So I found some zoobles in the toy aisle today. We have little ones in our neighborhood, and my daughters like to give them something extra special when they trick or treat. Does anyone know whether the zoobles are halloween themed? Are there different ones in each box or are all the boxes the same?
  9. It was at the 119th store. They didn't have many left last time I was there and they have moved them back by the books and movies.
  10. Always knew about this, but still doesn't answer why there way a return by date on my 75% off receipt, but not on my 50% off receipt. Possibly in the 3 days after I bought the first one, they made a change in policy. I purchased the first camcorder (for 50% off) just last Friday (which was Sept 30). Maybe beginning Oct. 1st, they've started making that 45 day policy clearer by printing the date under each item it applies to?? Always good to make things clearer to the customer :))
  11. Forgot to mention something that was newly interesting to me... and I am not that plugged in to Target anymore, so maybe it's not so new... I had bought the polaroid video camera when it was clearanced to $50 about 3 days ago. This morning when I found it at $25, of course I rebought it and will return the higher priced one. Here is the interesting part: the one I bought at 75% off had a 'Return By' date printed directly underneath it's listed price on my receipt. I'm not talking about the receipts expired date listed at the top. This was directly under each of the items I purchased. The return by date is Nov. 18. I know that there is a portable electronics policy (at least there used to be) for some things, but I thought it was interesting that the exact same item that I purchased at 50% off DID NOT have a 'Return By' date printed; but the one at 75% did.
  12. ... almost forgot; also got 2 of these for $12.48 each (reg. $49.99) at a 'sneaky' store near me that I firmly believe intentionally doesn't sticker stuff so 'someone' can come back and claim it!-- ya Ward Pkwy, I'm talking about YOU :))-- these were still marked $34.98, but rang up differently. http://img1.targetimg1.com/wcsstore/TargetSAS//img/p/11/16/11160166.jpg
  13. Must have been a day late with electronics this morning here... got this for $25 (regular $100): http://target.scene7.com/is/image/Target/12359010_is?wid=618&hei=618 ...and this waterproof video camera for $19.99 (reg. $80): http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51315Qotx-L._SL500_AA300_.jpg Nice to get a couple of Christmas gifts done... no more toy fun in this house; only electronics 'fun' for me now.
  14. I just realized that these pets come with a book too... even better deal :)
  15. Was at the Overland Park, KS Costco tonight and picked up American Girl Pets Honey, Sugar, Praline and Pepper for $13.99 each. These can be difficult to find on sale at American Girl retail stores/online. (They are usually $20 each.) Anyway, I thought 30% off was pretty good! It's only on those 4 pets (at this particular location). Could just be certain Costcos but it might be worth looking if you have a Costco near you!
  16. Ya, IMO, it pretty much seems like all Target wants is to be able to claim a seemingly customer friendly thing to do (price matching), but when it comes to making it easy for customers... a very different story. When it comes to groceries, I just make a trip to the grocery store rather than deal with the hassle at Target.
  17. As with most of Target's lovely 'policies', I've found it to vary widely... some cashiers are very cool about quickly adjusting for me AT the register during checkout. Others require me to check out and THEN go get it adjusted at customer service (at that point, I usually just head over there to check out so I'm not wasting a whole lot of time.) Some cashiers couldn't care less about what I'm matching and just give the ad a quick glance. Most Targets don't care about the "loyalty card required" verbiage from grocery ads. There is ONE lady is this whole city who absolutely analyzes every square inch of the ad. If I'm force to use her, I usually just skip it. She won't match anything and happily brings out the 3 page album to read. Definitely not worth it with her. I think it really just varies from store to store. Seems like many of Target's policies vary and it depends on how friendly your store is/isn't!
  18. Bought the Banzai water guns that were part of the summer clearance. OMG, they were the WORST waste of money ever. Don't know if I just got 2 bad sets or what, but the water just kind of dribbled out of the end of the guns. I took them back (even though I didn't pay much for them). I was afraid my kids were going to start beating me with them if I didn't get them out of the house! LOL I can't find a picture anywhere, but they came in a 2 pack (yellow/blue and yellow/green, I THINK). They were $9.99 regular price. Just a word of caution for anyone who purchased them and hasn't opened them yet.
  19. I don't know if this is just an exclusive thing for certain card holders or whether is regional or what, but I just got an e-mail that says when "I" scan my CVS card tomorrow, "I" will get a coupon to get a 12 pack of Pepsi or Diet Pepsi for 99 cents. We're a Diet Coke family, but I may just take them up on this offer for soda that only costs 8 cents a can!! I can choke down almost anything when it's that cheap! LOL (It's ONLY for tomorrow (Wed., June 15) though. They are very specific about that.)
  20. Got another $5 off 25 purchase via e-mail. They are ending their ad around here on Fridays now (think someone already mentioned that). I don't know if that is why they are sending so many e-mail coupons or not. I usually get them on Thursdays and they are only good through the weekend. Sadly, I just don't shop there much anymore. Not too many good deals, so I don't waste my time. I mostly only go to stock up on Diet Coke. I save up my xtra care bucks and then try to hit them when they are about $2.50/12 pack. The $5 coupon really helped with the coke this week since they have a pretty good sale on 12 packs. I just filled in with graduation cards and father's day cards to get to my $25. (I needed to get those cards soon anyway, so I figure that was a good enough filler item.)
  21. The most I saw it go down was to 50% off and then to 60% off a week or so after that. The last time I was in, our stores had a lot left. I don't know if our Easter has been pulled around here yet though.
  22. Two of our STs around here must have had a complete overstock of these. One of them ended up marking the Animal Crossing game to $6.24. This was a couple weeks ago though.
  23. Can I ask what your kids like to do with those balls? I've seen them (the ones with water in them), but sometimes they don't bounce very high in the store... like they get flat or something maybe?? They are kind of heavy for just tossing around... do they like to just collect them maybe? I know there must be something about those balls that is great. They are kind of expensive, and I'm just curious if there is something unique that kids use them for that I'm just missing. Or is it just one of those kid things that is another mystery to us as parents. LOL
  24. Funny on the M&Ms.... there isn't a bag of them to be found anywhere around here. CVS and Walgreens ran really good pre Easter specials on M&Ms and there were good coupons out too. I got them for $1 a bag a week before Easter. I suppose there might have been some price matching going on at our Targets too maybe cause I haven't seen M&Ms left anywhere. Maybe your store found a "oops, look what we forgot" box of them in the back! LOL
  25. Saw the Animal Crossing Wii game today for 85% off!!! UGHHH. $6.24.... we paid $50 for it. Granted it was a year ago, but wow. That's quite a price drop. For some reason, Target has a real glut of these (at least in a couple of stores I've seen). Amazon is paying $14.50 to trade them in, so maybe I'll try to recoup a bit of my money that way??! Hmmmm.
