That explains my sister's delivery last week. She had ordered 2 tackle bags. They were sitting on her porch, no box, no plastic bag, just the canvas backpacks.

I miss Toys R Us as well. Though, I admit, I hadn't been in there on BF in years.

The lists have gotten longer (yay!). Please check to make sure I have them right.

I like peppermint or cinnamon around Christmas. I like the evergreen scents, if they aren't too overpowering. My favorite candle is Frosted Cranberry. I can't tell you why that's a Christmas scent, but that's when I buy my candles so maybe that one's actually out all the time, not sure .

When my boys were little, I loaded their stocking up with candy. When they were really little, I put a stuffed animal on top, but as they grew out of liking those it was just the candy. Like the $1 boxes of Starburst, Nerds, Skittles, etc. Maybe a candy cane tube of Hershey's kisses (the only chocolate my oldest liked) so something hung over the top.

I switched from a Fitbit HR that I had to put on the charger just once a week, to a 6 last year, so the battery life was a bit of challenge for me. BUT, it really hasn't been that bad. A full charge will last about a day and a half. Just for reference, I charged my watch fully yesterday morning and put it back on about 9:30am. It is now 10:45am the next day and I'm at 34%. It also charges pretty fast.

Batteries is something I buy every year. Lowe's usually has the best deal, but last year The Home Depot beat them.

I got a new sleigh and I have the whole scene pictured in my head and I just can't wait to see if it comes together. Yeah, I'm ready to decorate NOW.

Just a little over a week to get signed up! I'm about to send a reminder email to the folks that usually participate but we haven't heard from. We have 5 that have said they want to play, but haven't gotten their info in (they may have changed their mind, no shame in that). Please check the lists to make sure I didn't miss you!

My boys are hunters, and I've asked them to get me a turkey this year. I've never eaten a wild turkey before though, so I hope I don't regret not searching for the perfect Butterball (there is ALWAYS a difference in taste between wild and farm raised. I don't know how much of a difference there is with turkey).

Yeah, I just said "So, the $25 sheets are $45?". Doesn't bode well for any of the deals this year, does it?
