WooHoo! Congratulations HanShotFirst!

her husband is home, and I know he will...

They used to be 8.95, but then again the regular price used to be 22.50 . I think last year they were a little higher. The regular price now is 24.95, so still a great deal.

Your mom and I are kindred spirits. I always say Gene Kelly and Bing Crosby were just a whole different kind of sexy. I could watch old musicals all day . White Christmas and Holiday Inn are must watches for me every year, but I think my most favorite would be Singin' in the Rain. I hope she is feeling better. I will be praying for her.

I've never heard of it, but a friend's daughter has asked for it for Christmas. They pre-ordered it from Amazon in October, but now they are being told it won't be here until after Christmas. They are 3 times the regular price everywhere she's been able to find them. I guess they should be around $60. If you see one in stock somewhere, please let me know. Thanks!

Today was the shipping deadline. I missed it too! I've got mine boxed up and ready to go out tomorrow. If you haven't been able to ship for whatever reason, please let me know when you think you can, and please ship Priority. Please please please let us all know when you receive your package, even if you aren't planning to open until Christmas. There are a couple ornaments that the tracking shows delivered, but I haven't heard from the recipients. I hate the idea of porch pirates, but we all know they're out there. We want to make it right if your package walked off, so please let us know if you've received. (I'll reach out to the ones I'm missing via private message if I haven't heard anything in the next day or so). I'm loving seeing what people have received so far!

I hope a lot of people post, I love seeing everyone's trees!!

I got my ornaments today, and I love them!! I adore the socks, and thank you for the candy cane!

My family surprised me with this quilt on Thanksgiving. It was my sister's idea (Doresia on here), and I guess they all got together to plan the layout and remove the stitches from the tshirts, then my daughter sewed it. I had no idea and was pretty excited about it .

I think I saw a paper ad at the front of the store at Target. I am so sorry, I had intended to grab one if they had them, and I completely forgot! Walmart did have a printed ad and I got one of those, if you need it.

Honestly, we went out today out of pure tradition. I had bought everything I needed online. My biggest take away from the online sales is Walmart could learn a lot from Target’s curbside. LOL We started this morning at Walmart. We got there about 7:30, and it was pretty dead. Everywhere we went after that though was busy. Not normal BF busy, but busy. I finished my day picking up my last order at Walmart. I had included in my order one little item that wasn’t on the BF sale, so of course they separated it out. I had to pick up 2 orders. On opposite sides of the store. I was irritated at the inconvenience but then the real kicker was the SAME poor guy brought both of my orders out. Like I said, the pick up locations were seriously on opposite sides of the store! Why the heck didn’t they just put my little glue dots in with the other stuff?? They were running those poor people ragged.

My niece just asked if I could use my Walmart+ to get the PS5. Well, maybe if I'd known an hour ago . Now I know to be watching for one though.

I'm almost embarrassed to say our high on Friday is supposed to be 55. Yes, I called that cold. (In my defense, I had looked at Thanksgiving day, not Friday. The high Thursday is supposed to be 48, and that's when it's supposed to rain).
-
I was wondering that too. Also - man, those of you that are talking teens & 20's in NOVEMBER?? I can't even imagine what your January looks like. I know it's all about what you are accustomed to, but I don't think I could even get accustomed to a "real" winter like y'all have. LOL
-
I need a Switch, the DBZ game for the Switch, The air fryer oven. And for my sister I'm going to try to grab the TB headset and the Playstation +. Those are the things on my list. If my pattern holds true, I'm sure I will find lots of other stuff to spend money on.
-
It's looking like rainy and cold. A couple models have shown snow, but our mets are all assuring us that's not going to happen verify.
-
Once again, I spent a lot of money when I had NOTHING on my list for this store. LOL. Can I just say, drive up pick up (or whatever they call it there) is awesome?? I got to Target and they were oh, so busy. I never had to get out of my car . And the guy was so sweet, he made sure to ask if I had any littles in the car with me before he got the Switch out of his basket. Said he didn't want to ruin any big surprises .

Everybody, please be sure to post here when you receive your package. Thank you so much for those of you that already have!

I took a chance and stopped at HD today on my way to the city and they still had some. Not a lot, but some. They did NOT have them in a box in the center aisle though, they were on the shelf with the rest of the batteries.
-
Lowe's has them separate also. But like HD, they sell out early. I usually try to get a couple AA packs and 1 AAA pack. That lasts us until the next Black Friday.
-
With the sale lasting so long, I wonder if they will restock what they sell out of. The batteries sell out early around here. Also, I'd like to compare the batteries to Lowe's when it comes out, since they beat HD last year. Hmmm. To go ahead and buy, or to wait. All these spread out sales messes with my indecisiveness. LOL

Does anyone have a countertop ice maker on their list?
Bopeep replied to premiumchip's topic in 2021
I've had one for a few years now. Our fridge isn't hooked up to water (and our water is so bad the ice maker would be long coroded and not working anyway) and there's really nowhere inside for ice trays. So the ice maker has really worked well for us. Ours is a Hamilton Beach from Walmart. One gallon of water will fill our ice bin, but it takes pretty much all day. -
I tried watching via Zoom. It seemed everyone was doing a great job, and I could tell you all were very good at projecting your voices. Unfortunately, I just couldn't understand the words anyone was saying (because, you know, Zoom).
