My fear is they will continue to stay closed on Thanksgiving but instead of going back to how it used to be they will decide what they did this year worked well.

Y'all, I cleaned up! There were several gifts in the box, so I thought I'd open 1 every couple days. WELL, with every package I got more excited and had to open another until before I knew it I had devoured it all. OMG, I love it all! Especially the kitchen towel that says "I just want to bake stuff & listen to Christmas music". That is so me! I also got my favorite body lotion, some lavender bath bombs, a super cute snowman tray, some icing spatulas, a "Cookies for Santa" cake scraper with measurement conversions on the back, a notepad and pen, some peppermint print baking cups, a $10 Sonic card, and some fluffy OU socks (Boomer Sooner!). Santa, I am just blown away by your generosity. Thank you so much!

Ignore the stacks of boxes beside the tree. Since I'm working from home I don't have anywhere to stash the gifts as they come in .

We made the decision to go out, but not to any stores where people would be on top of each other. We figured that ruled out Walmart and Target. Our first planned stop was Atwoods (regional store, I believe, kind of like Tractor Supply). The parking lot was PACKED, so we drove over to Academy. Looked super busy. So we decided to drive out to Walmart and see how bad it looked. I swear there were fewer people there than a normal Friday morning (of course, it WAS 6:00 am, so maybe not). We went to a few different places, then picked up an online order at Target. There were a lot of people there, but it was closer to 11:00 by that time. Luckily, we only had to go in as far as customer service.

Sad to see it end. It was such a strange year, it never really felt like it got started. Thanks for everything Brad!

Santa Came!! I've never been one to wait, but I think I will this year. At least until after Thanksgiving. Maybe I'll open them after I finish decorating this weekend. Or maybe I'll go in there and open them now! Who can tell? Either way, thank you Santa! I will post pictures whenever I do open the gifts.

I came to the office today just knowing I would have received coupons, but no such luck. Hopefully I find one before the candle sale.

I ordered it from Walmart for $49.94, which is about $10 cheaper than I saw it elsewhere, so there's that at least.

They have the sheets every year, but I've never bought them. Are they soft sheets? Or scratchy? There are a few things here I'm interested in. Nothing that's going to make or break anyone's Christmas. I'll probably get a couple of those Wrangler work hoodies for my boys. A Couple of the $5 rugs, and a few wash cloth sets. **Also - can I just say that it makes me happy that this ad was leaked and not released? Kinda feels like old times.

I got to town this morning and picked up my ornaments for the OE, and half of my SS gift. Now just waiting on what I ordered to come in so I can get it mailed off. I'll try to get the ornaments in the mail this week.

I watched Jingle Jangle on Netflix tonight. It was an ok movie. I think maybe I just wasn't in the right mood for it though because it never really grabbed me. I am all about singing and dancing, so I'm pretty sure it was just me.

WooHoo. Here's to a better 2021 than 2020, but at least we still have each other .

When my son was little (probably 4 or 5) he told me to quit playing that song. It's "kinda creepy, Mom". LOL. He got a letter from Santa that year, and Santa totally agreed with him that the song is "kinda creepy". Of course, it's still on MY Christmas playlist though .

Before I switched to the Tidy Cats Breeze system (never on sale, unfortunately), I used A&H. I used the multi-cat, even though I only have 1 cat, but it seemed to work well. No noticeable "Oh, you must have a cat!" smell when you walked in my house. LOL
