Once again, I spent a lot of money when I had NOTHING on my list for this store. LOL. Can I just say, drive up pick up (or whatever they call it there) is awesome?? I got to Target and they were oh, so busy. I never had to get out of my car . And the guy was so sweet, he made sure to ask if I had any littles in the car with me before he got the Switch out of his basket. Said he didn't want to ruin any big surprises .

I took a chance and stopped at HD today on my way to the city and they still had some. Not a lot, but some. They did NOT have them in a box in the center aisle though, they were on the shelf with the rest of the batteries.

Lowe's has them separate also. But like HD, they sell out early. I usually try to get a couple AA packs and 1 AAA pack. That lasts us until the next Black Friday.

With the sale lasting so long, I wonder if they will restock what they sell out of. The batteries sell out early around here. Also, I'd like to compare the batteries to Lowe's when it comes out, since they beat HD last year. Hmmm. To go ahead and buy, or to wait. All these spread out sales messes with my indecisiveness. LOL

I've had one for a few years now. Our fridge isn't hooked up to water (and our water is so bad the ice maker would be long coroded and not working anyway) and there's really nowhere inside for ice trays. So the ice maker has really worked well for us. Ours is a Hamilton Beach from Walmart. One gallon of water will fill our ice bin, but it takes pretty much all day.

I tried watching via Zoom. It seemed everyone was doing a great job, and I could tell you all were very good at projecting your voices. Unfortunately, I just couldn't understand the words anyone was saying (because, you know, Zoom).

I just wonder how difficult it will be to get the Switch. I know other retailers will have the same thing, but will they sell out quickly? Trying to decide if it's worth the extra $13 to go ahead and sign up for Walmart+. I need 2 of them, and I'm going to be in trouble if I only come out with 1 at the end of the day .

For years, everything on my tree and all of my in house decorations (except the Nativity) were Western. I had cowboy Santas everywhere! LOL. I still love the cowboy stuff, but I slowly moved away from all of it, starting a few years ago. Now it's just "Christmas". I do love the buffalo plaid and burlap. So there's quite a bit of that sprinkled throughout.

A few years ago they fit everything in a big snowman coin bank. I think that was B&BW. I still have the bank, but now I'm second guessing myself on where I got it. LOL

Don't knock Academy too hard. That's always one of our favorite BF stops.

I have my ornaments. I just need to find a box I can ship them in and get them to the post office. I haven't really gotten started on SS, other than carrying the printed list around with me .

"Is Black Friday as we knew it gone?" Yes. But it's been gone before and we adapted. I could wish BF was still what it was way back in 2005. But the world isn't what it was in 2005. So every year when BF changes up on us yet again, we have to decide to make the most of it. It's still my favorite time of the year. **And, YES, I agree it's a good thing they've decided to close Thanksgiving day again. May they never go back to THAT!

SiriusXM Spreads Holiday Cheer with Launch of Most Holiday Music Channels Ever I was looking for the graphic from Sirius, but I can't find it. I did find a couple outside articles on yesterday's launch of holiday music at Sirius XM.

I made a list...socks, underwear, and washcloths. LOL. (if I remember correctly, though, the socks and underwear sold out online pretty quickly last year)

A If there's something in the 3rd ad I'm really afraid I'll miss out on if I don't have it, I'll sign up for a month.
