Just a little over a week to get signed up! I'm about to send a reminder email to the folks that usually participate but we haven't heard from. We have 5 that have said they want to play, but haven't gotten their info in (they may have changed their mind, no shame in that). Please check the lists to make sure I didn't miss you!

My boys are hunters, and I've asked them to get me a turkey this year. I've never eaten a wild turkey before though, so I hope I don't regret not searching for the perfect Butterball (there is ALWAYS a difference in taste between wild and farm raised. I don't know how much of a difference there is with turkey).

Yeah, I just said "So, the $25 sheets are $45?". Doesn't bode well for any of the deals this year, does it?

In the past, we've sometimes done Christmas parties where we played Dirty Santa. For a couple years in a row, I organized an ornament exchange. But, last Christmas and this most of us work from home so we won't do anything. The company will give us all a gift card, and I will buy for the 4 folks that directly report to me, and I'll take them to their homes.

I will be getting both my 2 oldest grandson's a Switch (yes, one each, even though they live together. In all the ideas I came up with, this one works out the best ).
