Wow! Are the $20 lessons individual or group? Many guitar lessons are now done in a group format. Ours are $7. I used to teach piano and mine were $12- which was on the high end. Try calling around to the smaller music stores to see if they have individuals that come in and give lessons.

Amazon has been running electric guitars as a lightning deal about once a week lately. They had a Dean electric a couple of weeks ago for $69 (from $299).

I'm so torn! I have $200 in Amazon giftcards that are left over, just for me! I need my motherboard rebuilt, but I can't buy that with Amazon gift cards. I can't decide between a set of Rachael Ray pans (I have 2 pans and LOVE them, but who wants pans?), an Ipod touch, a bicycle, or a netbook. If I could pick anything, it would be the $$ to move to the beach in South Carolina and buy an FJ7 cruiser!

If they carry the exact item, it shouldn't be a problem. And for the last couple of years, they've offered a ticket for them at our store and you drive around to lawn & garden to get them. Much easier than the year we got ours! Did anyone see the Barbie Vet Center in the ad? I've looked and looked, but I'm hoping I just missed it.

I pulled this trick off last year! My SIL brought fish while we were at my family's Christmas Eve. We're out in the boonies, so she ran to Walmart as they closed and put them in the tank. When we got home the kids went straight to bed and never noticed. I had a note ready just in case saying he had to drop them off first. If you can't do that, tell him that it's too cold at the North Pole and some of the places he has to stop at first, and the fish can't survive in the cold water.

Last week's sale was a week long sale, too. The sale items start on Saturday, but if you can still find an Xbox or laptop today, you'll get the discounted price or promo. Last week's ad also said In-Store only. The TV commercials are even saying that this is the Secret Saturday Sale. They did this last year.. threw out one good week 3 weeks before BF and the others sucked.

You're right! Some will state Redeemable ONLY at XXX, and those can only be used at that store, but if they just have a logo on them or a store name, it is interpreted as a suggestion to redeem it there and any store can submit it for reimbursement. I'm not 100% sure about that.. Walmart won't because it's a % off, and I'm not sure if Target will match a % off. Their rules are a LOT stricter than WM. It may be a YMMV sort of thing.

That's all I ever got on it... just the phones and a couple of toys (that aren't discounted much if at all)

To use it on an item that is not specified in the written description is considered fraudulent use of a coupon and you can get into a ton of trouble for non-using it as intended. This is why coupons are getting harder and harder to use in stores.

I've thought that about the Taco Bell commercial.. the way it's worded is not very appropriate for us gutter minded people. I am not offended by white cake, white milk, or even the crackers I'm eating with my soup with pasta in white sauce. I also love an occasional White Christmas. Guess I'm too easy going.

Our WM's are great about adjusting the prices- they normally just take your word for it and don't bother checking.

DH's aunt just passed on a great tip for this. When you get your bird, most meat departments will cut it for you. Have it cut straight down the middle so that you have two identical pieces. You can freeze them both and not have to deal with so much excess turkey when you cook it. I cooked one a couple of years ago in the Spring and we ate turkey everything.. now we don't like it nearly as well.
