  1. I just made the YUMMIEST jalapeno popper dip. You can spice it up to your desires. 6 fresh jalapenos 2 cloves garlic 1/2 medium onion 2 8oz. packages of cream cheese, softened 1 cup mayonnaise 8 oz cheddar cheese 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp pepper Mix the peppers, onion, and garlic in the food processor. Add in salt, pepper, mayo, and cream cheese. Blend until mixed. Spoon into oven-safe dish and stir in cheddar cheese. Bake at 300 for 18-20 minutes. Serve with crackers. *You could add chopped cooked bacon or bacon bits to this also. This is a variation of my poppers. I use the mixture (with no mayo) and roll into small balls. Partially freeze. Roll each ball in flour, then an egg/milk mixture, and then in saltine crumbs. Repeat once for each ball. Deep fry. You must fry them when they are VERY cold and just for a few seconds.

  4. Oh.. have you tried Alice.com? You can get free shipping and use coupons online there- they are even provided for you. They have some great deals and offer different coupons all of the time.
  5. Start couponing!!! All of that stuff is free or nearly free with coupons- and the good, fancy stuff, too. The make-up and nail stuff is always free or very close with coupons. I picked up 120 bottles of the expensive Sally Hansen stuff (normally $8 per bottle) for Kate for about -$10 a couple of months ago. There are always coupons for Got2B and Aussie products, along with Fructis. Got2B has a great boys' line. There are also lots of q's for Tag and Axe products. Also, if you can wait until the week of, Wags and Target have started marking down their holiday stuff before the holiday this year. Chances are it will get cheaper before and if you have some good q's, you can load up. Check out the Degree and Dove body sprays- always q's for those. What about: toothbrushes toothpaste cutesy bandaids hair ties (this is all stuff I've stocked up on for free with coupons this year)
  6. Our stores still had some around 9:00 last night. They had the same 2 xbox ones that I saw at a different store for the doorbusters. It was The Godfather (III I think) and Need for Speed Undercover. Tons and tons of PS2 games.
  7. If it's a bundle, you will be charged shipping for a bundle, regardless of how it is packaged.
  8. I thought that anyone who lived there knew about it. That's why we stay on our side of the line to make big purchases!
  9. I've always gotten my stuff from Dell in less than a week. Mom ordered an Xbox a couple of weeks ago on Sunday and they delivered on Tuesday, even though her order confirmation said a date almost a month out.
  10. yeah, but you can pm it at walmart if you're going to be there anyways.
  11. They do have the 'Body' issue.. it came out last month. I picked this up for DH a couple of years ago for $1 a year- it always gets super cheap. The biggest benefit of having it is that you'll get a free membership to ESPN Insider, the website. It's normally $7 a month and is awesome!
  12. I think the OP has younger children also, if I'm not mistaken. What about heading to the movies or something like that?
  13. I picked up 6 kids cap/shirt sets, 1 youth cap/shirt set, 2 girls' tees, and 2 boys' tees for $18.90 before shipping.. $25 after. Great deal, thanks OP!!!!
  14. so you were able to get a bike online?
  15. It still seems really high to me, but it's a lot harder to find 'drum teachers' than piano or guitar. I'd still call around to a few different stores, even if the store doesn't offer lessons, they should keep a list of all local instructors. Are they 1/2 hour lessons? Hope that helps! Maybe I'm in the wrong business! I can play the drums fairly well, but I'm not sure $20 will cover my headache pills after teaching a kid
  16. My DS10 is a little taller than average tried out a 24" this year and it was still a tad too short for me to feel comfortable. I am really, really, really wanting a bike of my own, and even I was wondering about a 26". I think all I ever had was a 24", and I'm 5'5.
  17. xbox live gold is required, silver is free, but there's a cost for gold. We just bought the xbox and upped our internet speed before we found that out.
  18. I'm excited to see the bicycles and LPS Vet Care center.. His & Hers bikes and that are both on my list.. along with Rockband!
  19. Just that they've ordered them by the masses and they have some weird processor- it's not Windows or Linux, but another type of MS product. For the life of me I can't remember what it's called.
  20. I'm not 100% sure there won't be netbooks, possibly on a secret sale or ad. It's not complete speculation, they've ordered a huge surplus of a no-name brand that they do not carry.
  21. I'd wait a few more days and stop searching for a good price in the meantime! I got mine at WM on BF 2 years ago (baby bug) and it was $118. They carry the expression now.
  22. Sort of a side question, but I've never understood why people bother to do that. What do they gain by infecting computers with viruses? Even though it would just take a few minutes to do, I wouldn't want to hurt anybody's computer and if I wasn't making $$ I wouldn't want to even waste 10 minutes.
  23. I wasn't even thinking! I had a paid internship...
