sallnori- did camping go today or yesterday? I went yesterday and most toys were 50%, and camping was still stuck at the same 30%-50% it has been for weeks.

I've used half.com a lot. One of my tips is to check with the professor and see if it's ok to use a previous edition of the book. Textbooks are a scam- they 'update' them every year or so by switching chapters 4 and 15 around (just an example). Many of my professors actually still used a previous edition because it had all of their notes, so they were able to tell me where the differences were. They were in it to help the students save. You can probably get a previous edition book for less than $5 shipped at half.com. I went from spending $400 a semester on texts to $20 by doing that- the only classes I couldn't do it for were math classes.

I'm assuming it's Thursday- but I sure hope it's today! I have to head into town (80 miles round trip) and I don't want to go back tomorrow.

www.taxact.com is fully free- regardless of income. If your state charges, you do have to pay their fees. Missouri is less than $15- or was last year. I'm not sure what it is this year.

federal efiles are free, regardless of the software. I'm a CPA, and I only recommend www.taxact.com to someone who wants to do their own (and no, it's not just for EZ). It's free (minus your state) and updated in realtime so you won't have the issues that are possible with boxed software. Boxed software is produced in the masses, so if there is a glitch (and there normally is) it is in every piece of software, which they will not fix.

Try switching browsers- sometimes that helps.

Highly illegal- for anyone that considers doing so, these are coupons that have your IP address coded in them. You are allowed to redeem two copies of each. If for some reason, the person you send them to (not saying you would, just a precaution) were to make copies of them and redeem substantially more, you would be the one to get into trouble if Playskool decided to pursue it. They are also void if reproduced- you can't even print one and photocopy the other. For them to remain fully legal, you MUST have a copy that was printed from an actual printer. I've had several tell me that they printed off a copy with good intentions for someone else, and that person copied it, over and over again and shared with her friends. Again, no offense to you debnmark- I just want members to know what could possibly happen when doing something like that.

is it possible to have them fixed? There are a couple of eye doctors around here that sauter frames and fix other issues for around $15. Mine snapped down the middle once and they fixed them in a couple of minutes.

Just a small gripe... I had to miss the 90% off, as it was -11 here this morning and the roads are still terrible from Saturday's snow. The closest Target (40 miles) never has anything left, as they are the only one in a 70 mile radius of a big city. The good one is in a tourist town 50 miles away down curvy back roads. If only it went tomorrow...

No, the easy saver was fully phased out. A few months later, it was replaced by some coupon booklets, but no rebates. Some months, two booklets are released. One is called the Healthy Savings, the other is a basic Walgreens coupon book. It is usually the 'January Savings Book' or something like that. The Easy Saver also had rebates, commonly called ESR. While the coupons are now similar, it is still an entirely different thing to veteran WAGS shoppers.

When I ordered those from Amazon last week, they emailed me a $5 mp3 credit for each. Be glad you didn't get in on the SkullCandy deal. They've had a glitch in their website and when you go to check out, your payment info is very plainly filled someone else's. It's a HUGE issue, as thousands now have other people's account info.

I've seen them get to 75% off here, but I've also seen them run a $75 or $100 GC with Dyson purchase. When that happens, it usually applies to the clearance ones, too.

I got trash bags last year, but there weren't any this year. IIRC, they were marked down a day later than the other stuff. They were vanilla scented Glad ones with penguins on them. I just ran out!

They had tons of the ponchos in baskets in the camping stuff. We bought 2 of the airbeds last night. I didn't know if they would still be there and we needed them. The kids spent part of their Christmas $$ on them. They are one of their favorite gifts!

I always find good stuff at the Kirkwood store! I picked up some 'Emergency Ponchos' for 50¢ at Spfd last night. They were half off. I should have bought more- DH laughed at me, but trust me, we've needed emergency ponchos before! They are in the camping gear.

It's not really funny- she probably had coupons for them that made them very cheap or even free.

This sale started on Christmas Day, so most of the good stuff is gone by now.. I got in yesterday afternoon, but there wasn't much left. The 20% off coupon DOES work, but some of the items won't allow it. It worked on everything I purchased but one.
