Thank you for your input guys- we have such a hard time! We have a Lee factory outlet store here and all jeans are $8, but we have to rifle through thousands of pairs to find one if we're lucky. I'll check out Cabelas. I hate to pass on these, but he refuses to wear them if they are 1/4 inch too short. He will wear old man K-Mart pants, but not a pair that I can't even tell is too short. So picky!

darn it!!! These aren't on sale in the 'big and tall' store. I don't need big, just tall. DH wears a 32x36- nearly impossible to find. Very rarely can he wear a 34- wonder if it's worth trying.

Re-read my post. You only update if you choose to, and many are too scared to use it online, hence buying the disk. If you buy the disk to avoid web services, chances are you don't use it while you're connected to the internet. I plainly said you can update it- but many don't.

The deal: Buy 3 packages of Pampers Swaddlers or Cruisers ($8.99 each) and get a $5 Target gift card. To sweeten the deal: Use (3) $2/1 MQ (from the 12/27 inserts) and (3) $2/1 Target Coupons (from 1/3 inserts) to get these diapers for.... $3.34 per package (when you buy 3)!

You can do a similar deal with Pampers. The 12/27 inserts had Pampers coupons and the 1/3 had Target ones. They are offering a $5 gc when you buy 3. Makes them $3.34 a pack.

Most of the free software sites offer a download option- some will even send a CD (for a small fee). Have you looked into private preparers or even CPAs? I don't refer to franchised operations as tax preparers. If it's a basic return, most licensed and certified preparers around here charge less than $75. The higher risk for error comes with having actual software that was manufactured to be put on shelves before the first filing date. It has to be made early, but congress is actually allowed to change the laws, deductions, exemptions, etc until the first filing day of the year- January 15th this year. This year is a perfect example of that, as they are now allowing donations to Haiti to be tax deductible, which happened after the date. Most of this can be solved by running updates, but a lot of the people who buy the software to avoid downloads do not install updates before using it. I never said that TT was the only software for glitches- all are subject, and this thread is about TT. It's a LOT easier to fix them with an online service than to pull the software off of the shelves and re-manufacture it.

lol hpowers, me either. I'm really not sure why someone would pay (not much less than a qualified tax preparer) for a software that actually has LESS benefits and a higher risk for error than the free software. To each his own, I guess- just gotta hope they don't get caught up in one of the huge TT glitches!

Welcome DietCokeLover Osage Beach had lots of camping at 75% off today, including 2 of the tents that mom got us for Christmas- she bought 2 and is taking the first one back.. 2 for the price of one! All of the tents and screenhouses were 75% but my camp grill was nowhere to be found.

I could use the pace coupons, but have nothing to trade. Are the ones you can use on something aside from salsa? I used ours to buy the cheese dip and it was soooo good! Maybe you can do that instead of salsa?

OK- the Zatarains one says notifications will be sent out approx. 3 weeks before the party date- that's Tuesday!

I was picked for Bliss and the Cartoon Network ones, then nothing for 2 years. I applied for DiGiorno and got in (if only I'd applied for the Wii one!). I'm hoping for Zatarians, too!!! Anyone know when we'll be notified?

At our stores, it's just the pink and black pairs. The only reason I paid attention was because we were looking for some for my nephew's birthday this weekend. Chances are that his parents will never sign him up anyways, so a pair of cheap soccer cleats might have kept him happy- but the black weren't included.

ummm... it probably was just as expected (nothing good) because the sale is over. The sale is for an additional 50% off the lowest marked price and is advertised as such. There are signs all over the doors, windows, and racks that state 'Take an additional 50% off lowest marked clearance price'. The sale ended yesterday.

Osage Beach must have gone 75 yesterday as there wasn't much left. There was a lady with 2 carts picking up the cast-offs. Most of the camping was still 50%, but they had things marked 75% that our other stores had at 50%, such as the utensil set and tent lights. They had a lot more variety than Springfield, with tons of tents and screen houses left. There was a grill, but it was still 50%. There was some baseball/softball stuff for 50-75. I picked up a T-ball bat for $7 and some softballs for $1.34- lime green fastpitch. Pink soccer cleats were $4.98 at 75% off.

I guess I do feel safer walking around here in Lions gear than I would in Cubs! That might encourage a redneck firing squad.

Let me know what you decided- and if it was worth it. I got a couple of sweaters for Kate that weren't so cute, I thought she could wear them for play if needed. The are so pretty on her- can't believe the difference. Oh- and Tony could have bought a women's one.. We're Lions fans, we feel no shame!

I found lots of shirts for Kate and several for Ethan, but didn't see much for smaller boys. I didn't find anything for myself, but by the time I got done with the kids stuff, Kate was getting antsy. I did go in hopes of getting one of the women's Lions shirts on clearance, but they were full price Lions stuff has been on clearance since season started! No one but me and your husband would buy it here. I didn't find a lot for Brad either- but he's such an awkward size. I figured it would be today a couple of weeks ago and it totally slipped my mind this morning! I guess it was because it wasn't accompanied by a natural disaster.

My FAVORITE sale of the year and it started today. It's buried in the Old Navy Weekly coupon thread. Check there for a $10 off of $50 purchase coupon to sweeten this. I just picked up $2000 worth of clothes for $73.69. They had tons and tons of stuff.

Branson is 75% off, too Osage Beach said they haven't marked down yet.
