  1. I do agree with what you have posted, but you could post your thoughts in a more mature manner.
  2. PX = Post Exchange (dept type store on military bases) What's your location, datznasty? It may depend on that, I am not sure though?!
  3. UPDATE: Call your local store to find out how many will get cards and what time the store opens. Not BF deal, no, but it was a BF deal.. and may be happening again! I can't quote the post on the other board I am reading (private, paid membership kind). But the lady said, she went to Sears BF morning and got the $10 GC. She went to use it during checkout and the cashier had to call the manager. Apparently the card said it was only valid on Dec 3rd and the manager said they had in fact handed out the *wrong* cards. He had to give her a card good for BF and take her Dec 3rd only card back. She then asked if they were giving out $10 GC's on Dec 3rd and he nodded and shrugged. So a complete YMMV (your mileage may vary), but definitely worth a try. Again, no other specifics.. not sure if you have to be one of the first 200 in the store again or what. Worth a try if you are near Sears/have a reason to go there anyway. :)
  4. I am not sure when the sale expires? Rite Aid has Maybelline products on buy one get one free. A lot of the Maybelline stuff has $2 coupon peelies on them! So this could mean free makeup. YMMV (your mileage may vary) I'm going to try this Sunday (the 27th). :)
  5. I agree w/ Ross and others, these awesome deals can be found during various times of the year. Some are as good, some better, some not as good. It just depends on what you (general you) think is a good deal. It's worth my time to research a little and save money. I am a stay at home Mom to three kids, I have a bit of time to look and not as much money as a two working parent household (for example). I am so glad I started couponing, looking for freebies, doing sweepstakes, and just making sure I got the best price on whatever I was buying early in life.. my parents are just now catching on to all of the good things I find on a regular basis. The media only focuses on BF because the retailers make a huge deal. Now we consumers do as well, BUT the smart deal watchers know that the day after Thanksgiving isn't the only day of the year that gets us excited.. /rant & rambling over

    Wal-mart price error??

Well, just figure you came out even! LOL. Just kidding. But I think it was an error and not a "gift" or whatever, lol. :)
  7. I think for myself, mainly about my wallet during BF time - do I want to save money or not? Hmm, such a dilemma. It's not only about saving money though, it's the rush it gives to some people, etc. It is worth it to me (mainly previous BF's) to stand in line and have to rush in the doors, yes. I think the actual HARD injuries are rare, but of course that is all the media focuses on the night of BF.
  8. GDA = Good Deal Alert :)
  9. They exp on the fifth? Or do you mean the third?
  10. They changed the amt you were charged? That's ODD! They aren't allowed to do that and just cancel them at most.
  11. I agree, it's nuts. I can't even go on there and look because I just wanted one.. but not for 2+ times the price. I am not stupid!
  12. Ditto RossMAN. Maybe it'd help your buyer(s) to feel more comfortable if you provided an eBay ID you use or your Paypal address so they can see what your rating is there (well, the number of good transactions). Just an idea. :)
  13. See this page: http://www.kitchenaid.com/custserv/promo.jsp?sectionId=240 Lower right hand side. :) You can print out the rebates.
  14. Maybe the date it was/is valid could be added to the title? :)
  15. Usually when Amazon ships the "error" orders, they just let it be and don't bother with asking for it back, etc. Personally, I replied to the email asking why some were shipped and why mine was not. I was polite yet firm in asking. I know the answer, but I want to know what they'll come up with.
  16. I'm not even bothering with checking mine. I do want a newborn CPK for my DD but it's not gonna happen, lol.
  17. Just curious, why did you get the laptop in the first place if you don't even want it? I know it doesn't work, you are getting a new one, but why not keep the new one? I am guessing you stood out in line for quite some time to get the initial one, so why did you change your mind? Again, curious.. I agree with a previous poster, watch your CC like a hawk - AOL always cancels easily, but they don't usually CANCEL the charges going to your CC quite so easily.
  18. Here's the support page on HP's site for it: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/product?docname=bpy60522&dlc=en&lc=en&dest_page=product&cc=us&product=445953# How to transfer pictures: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?lc=en&cc=us&dest_page=product&product=445953&dlc=en&docname=c00188645 Instant share software issues page: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?lc=en&cc=us&docname=c00183621&product=445953&dlc=en&lang=en It's hard to say initially, so.. when you plug it into the computer, is the camera on? I am unsure with HP cameras, but most other digital cameras must be on when they are plugged into the computer (in order to move the pics from the cam to the pc). Or did you get them on your PC already? Or do you mean you are trying to send them to someone online directly from your camera? A little more info as to what you are trying to do will help, I am sure someone can help ya.

    Shoplifting?

They did a story about shoplifting on our news last night. Said that it happened more during the holidays - one, because people are desperate (broke, etc) and two, because the stores are soooo busy, that it's easy to pocket things due to the chaos going on around you. But a JcPenney manager said that at their stores anyway, it's in empty changing rooms where people try it. The reporter then said that it's more employees of the co. stealing than customers themselves. I don't think a lot of shoplifters realize who this hurts - everyone (including them!, even if they are not caught). Some people seem to figure big box retailers can eat $50 that these people steal.. but you multiply that by the millions that steal that measily $50 and it adds up of course. Businesses end up charging more and I could go on and on! That is nuts, but I don't blame Walmart for calling for help to ward this crap off - very smart move as you said. :)
  20. Repost.. well, this one here was posted first, but the other one has more replies..
  21. More than likely Walmart will just return it and give you the money back (credit your CC if that's how you paid, but if by check, then you must wait and of course you get cash back on the spot usually). Then you can just turn around and use it for the other TV. :) Did the second TV you bought work?!
  22. Wait, did you end up getting it?!! Her stupidity was good for you, lol.
  23. There was a similar thread about this recently :) My reply is in there.

    Walmart online

I'd write them back and ask for specifics. Did you just happen to get the last two or was it two per customer or what?!
